Driving through Middletown, suddenly a sweet craving directed me to the Dairy Queen drive thru. I ordered the peanut butter pie Blizzard and it was delicious. The small could have fed two people easily. Service with a smile! Five stars thank you. read more

Ehh our visit was just okay really but 4 stars because it wasn't bad either. We just had a communication problem with the guy that took our order so that was a little annoying. We both ordered our chicken to be tossed in the sauce but the sauce came on the side. Not the biggest deal and we were hungry so we just went with it. I stopped in to pick up lunch and ordered 2 Chili Dogs with Mustard and Onions. The employee asked if I would like cheese. My response was no. When I got to my house, 5 miles away, and opened the bag, there were 2 hotdogs with mustard and cheese, no chili. On June 2,2019 my family got ice cream here and stayed inside due to a rain storm. While eating inside, there were so many fruit flies that it was uncomfortable to eat our food and they were in our faces as well. I let the young lady at the counter know and she said she would let the manager know. On June 3,2019, my girlfriend and I came in again to see if it was better, we ordered ice cream and the fruit flies were so bad that we had to throw them away as they were in our blizzards. Been to Dairy Queen twice lately. Hasn't been good. First time, family and I ordered the usual - burgers, chicken strips, and blizzards. We go thru the drive thru then take it home. Wife's chicken was undercooked. She ended up throwing her food away. Sons burger was way overcook - dry. Today, we gave it another shot. It went just as bad. I ordered a fish sandwich with nothing on it. Got the fish sandwich with tartar and a couple of wilted chunks of lettuce. Additionally, the blizzard I ordered was supposed to be peanut butter cup. I received a brownie or some type of cake blizzard. What do we have to do? Check the food before we leave the drive thru? I can deal with the incredibly drive through service, but not a terrible blizzard! The toppings were only on the upper third (most of it was just plain ice cream) and it was so melty and full that it leaked all over my hand, arm and car and I had to wait for someone to recognize I was still sitting there and needed napkins. Certainly didn't have it held upside down like they are supposed to and good thing because it would have all dumped out! Will try another ice cream place next time. read more

The store was out of hot fudge. The guy who took my order never told me so when I got my Peanut Buster Parfait, it had chocolate sauce instead of hot fudge. I only know this because I asked a guy who looked like a manager if they were out of hot fudge and he said yes, no one told you? And apologized. Also, they were out of ALL diet sodas! I walked in DQ My family and I to get a cone on Father's Day. And we wanted to eat inside because it was a little hot. And my wife didn't want sprinkles on her seats in her car. The ice cream is really good, the second time they added sprinkles. They're extra so I need my cone covered. And the dining area is so filthy. The floor, seats and tables. ALL of them. The one thing that disappointed me was that they manually put ranch dressing in a container when the commercial advertises an actual ranch sauce that look bbq sauce. Beautiful Sunday for a roadtrip and a delicious DQ blizzard... well... not at this DQ !!! 7-10 young people were working the afternoon shift, having a great time teasing each other and carrying on as if they were at a club... customers in line waiting for orders which were either not prepared or prepared wrong and had to be send back. Poor William at the register was trying his best and kept sending the orders back when he noticed that they were wrong or the already fully melted ice cream was spilling all over the cups. Unbelievable, even if there was a manager on duty it didn't seem like they had a grip on the crew. I am all for young people having a good time, and laugh and party... but at work when you are facing customers ... please do the job you are being paid for and behave professionally!!!! read more

2/20/21 at 1830 hrs: went thru the drive thru to pick up dinner for the family. I tried to place the order and had to repeat the entire order three times. Drive thru employee still did not get it right. Repeated it slowly and loud and had them repeat it back to me. Finalily order is correct. Drive to the window to pay. Paid for food and had me to drive around and park For my order. Mind you , no one else was in line. I park. They brought the order out. It's wrong. They can not count to 6. I ordered 6 strips they gave me 4. I ordered 2 gravy's, I got none. My son went in to tell them they messed up the order. They would not fix it For him Without a receipt, which I never got. So I had to go in. Employee at the counter would not fix my order. I had to raise my voice to get someone to help me. Finally the manager came and fixed my order. Not over yet. I checked my burgers after I got to the truck. They looked liked yesterday's hockey pucks from a hockey game. By this time I had enough. Just went home and fed the burgers to the dog.
