I stopped going to Ruby Tuesdays because the chain generally went downhill and many locations closed. I happened to be in Delaware with family and we stopped at this spot because it was convenient. Food was surprisingly delicious. Service was super friendly and salad bar (I didn't partake) had plenty od options and was clean. My only downside would have to be that the table was a little dirty (not horribly but enough to notice) and the whole place had a semi stagnant smell as you walked in. I've noticed this at a few of their locations. Worked for what we needed it for. Would stop in again if close and convenient. read more

I call to place an order, which I had to 8 times to get an answer, they take my order and say 15-20 minute, an hour later I'm here waiting after saying my orders not found in the system after saying it would be ready, as they actively walk past me and not even place a new order after saying that, but serves everyone else that runs in with a quickness. read more

Ive been here 3 or 4 times in the last few months. Tonight was a new low. The wait staff in the restaurant are always positive. The bar tender who has been there a few years is at best surly. Our food tonight was cold. The main dining room has been cold the last two visits. There is an entire bank of lights in the dining room that has also been out the last 2 times. I would not eat from that salad bar. I dont know how the wait staff works in circumstances where its clear management doesnt care about ambience and food quality. read more

We were greeted promptly and our server, Trinity, was friendly and gracious. We waited a long time for soup and chicken tenders. Apparently, there was only one cook while we were there. I think Trinity was the only server. The salad bar was adequate but spare. Many items needed replenishing. Many of the dishes at the salad bar couldn't be used as they were dirty. I have been to many Ruby Tuesdays and I do not think that I will return to the Middletown Delaware location. read more

I ordered the Catfish meal. Came with the smallest Catfish ever and fries. I also ordered the salad bar with my order. Like I stated the catfish was so small and the fries were very blah the best I could describe it. The salad bar was actually good. Wish they had more but it was better than my entree. The waitress was nice and not pushy. She checked on us and let us eat. Very genuine. The place was very dark and muggy feeling. I haven't been to a Ruby Tuesdays in years and after this experience I will not go again. Wanted something different. But for the price I can get a bigger catfish and more fries. read more

We ate dinner at Ruby Tuesday in Middletown, DE on 10/24/2024. The service was slow only because there was the bartender and one server in the dining room. Jason and Patti were spectacular! Their service was slower than normal only because of the large number of guests they were serving plus taking care of multiple to go orders. They still got great food to customers while it was hot, right after it was prepared by a limited kitchen staff. Hats off to them! read more

Oct .21 made a stop at Ruby Tuesday. For lunch today The manager was bar tender and waiter today he handled very well.I had the chicken breast with mash potatoes and a side of broccoli . Everything was cooked to perfection with all u can eat salad bar at $5.99 extra well worth it.And if u have their app. I got s free piece of their pumpkin cheese cake. I was really tasty. read more

OK, now I remember why it's been approximately 397 years since I've eaten at a Ruby Tuesday. We came in on a late Sunday afternoon. Hardly anyone there. Service was OK, nice kid serving us. We opted for the salad bar - somewhere I read that there were 50 items on the line. Not sure about that but I appreciated the variety available. Giant mugs of soda was served with iceberg-sized amount of ice crammed in there. I picked the $16 half rack of ribs, anticipating a meaty flavorful plate. Certainly tender, certainly flavorful (I chose the hickory bourbon marinade, sweet and really nice), but not very meaty. The night before we had shared a $30 slab of prime rib at another restaurant, and for this price, we probably got less than a quarter of meat. It was a pleasant meal. read more

Don't walk...RUN. The produce was rotten. The lettuce on my chicken Caesar was limp and brown. My wife's salad and guacamole was bad...clearly should not have been served. My wife's Old Fashioned was RED. Cherry juice, we guessed...wrong. Why we paid for this is beyond me. Waitress and Hostess were not the problem. My husband and I decided to go to Ruby Tuesday after many years. We chose this particular location and we were immediately greeted by Jason. Jason made us feel so comfortable and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The chicken quesadilla and the wings were so fresh as well as everything at the in-house salad bar. We will definitely be going back soon. Ruby Tuesday is extremely lucky to have Jason there to make people feel special. Thank you Jason! read more

When I called back to inform them, Jason was very apologetic and said it would be taken care of. I went back the next day and was given a full meal. This place gets a FOH, went here the other day and the waiter was quick to say yes i can exchange the beef for something else and change the potatoes to sweet potatoes fries and then when the bill came it was like i went to a fine white linen resturant. AWH its ruby tuesday like a upgrade from wendys or chick fil..etc he said i will see what i can do and spoke to mgr . He comes back and say nothing and the mgr didn't even come by . well she as a mgr should do better and he should tell customers ok i can do etc but its a up charge. This Ruby Tuesday is in a strip mall off Main Street (Route 299) in Middletown. Pros: - Being part of the Ruby Tuesday chain guarantees that the food and salad bar will be pretty much what I expect. - This is the brightest-lit Ruby Tuesday restaurant I've seen so far and that's good for food photography. Cons: - Server seemed more concerned about leaving early than about letting me have as much time as I needed for dinner. Server took my silverware without asking if I was done. She also asked me to pay early so she can leave. read more

My husband and I sat in the tables near the bar area and were served by the bartender Jason. He was wonderful. Very attentive. Gave a very heavy pour to my glass of wine. Ensured our drinks and meals were to our liking. We haven't been to this read in at least 7 years but enjoyed our food and service tonight so will definitely be returning. read more

Haven't eaten at Ruby Tuesday since the one in Elkton, Maryland closed. Went to the one Middletown Delaware it's the food quality has gone downhill since I last visited a Ruby Tuesday. Service was just okay, wasn't busy so didn't have any excuse because I was too busy but then again I don't know what was going on back in the kitchen so I didn't fault the waiter. Ruby Tuesday has tried to go more upscale lately but this location is just gross. Came late Thursday night. Ordered appetizers and dinner at same time. Waitress was busy taking to another table so our appetizer came 40 minutes after ordering and our dinner which was dried out and over cooked came a few minutes later. We only come back for convenience but shame on me for it cause I have yet to have a good meal here. read more

I keep trying to like this restaurant. Visit #1 - delightful server, but my pasta sauce was not even warm. Our server sent a new order out to me, and it was delish. Also loved the Caesar salad. Visit#2 - exact same problem with the pasta dish. My pasta was returned to the kitchen and came back out the same way. Still cold. I spoke with the manager. He even tasted my food. He agreed that it was cold. He returned it to the kitchen. On returning it he said they have 2 microwaves and one was obviously not working properly. In addition, the Caesar salad was not like the one from my previous visit. It was lettuce with a minuscule about of cheese & dressing just placed on top. Caesar salads generally have everything mixed together and generally have noticeable cheese. Completely different salad from my previous visit. Inattentive server. During all this time my husband again finished his meal before mine started. Visit #3 - server last night was John. He took our drink order. The bartender Taylor delivered our bar drinks. Delish. But the server John forgot my coke. When he returned he said he forgot and would get me one. We ordered our food. I decided to avoid the pasta problems & ordered a steak with a shrimp add on plus broccoli and a side garden salad. My dinner arrived but the shrimp was missing. I told the server but he said "I don't make the food." No he doesn't. But he needs to place the order and before carrying it out, he needs to look at it. I was a former waitress. He placed the shrimp order. I reminded him again of my missing coke. He brought the coke out with the shrimp, but did not bring a straw. He said he would get one. In the meantime, having had 3 problematic visits in a row, I spoke to the manager Judy. She said John had not placed the shrimp order as he said he did. She told me she saw him putting in the shrimp order later. I told her he blamed it on the cook. She said it was not the cook. I told her my straw was still missing. She got me a straw. For the 3rd time in a row, my husband finished his meal before I started mine. Each time I told him not to wait so his food would not get cold. These were date nights for us. All three were upsetting where the focus was not on our date, but instead it was on constant food and service problems. I am not sure I will try a 4th time. 3 strikes and all. I find this restaurant better than Texas Roadhouse. The ribs are excellent and the chicken platter is good. It seems as though they do change their menu frequently so don't get used to it. Servers are good. read more

Our server Alex is was awesome. Very attentive and helpful. He's also a fantastic bartender. The food all came out quickly and was good too.

We stop there for dinner and drinks most Wednesdays. Always sit at the bar. All bartenders have been very friendly and prompt. All waitstaff has been cordial and helpful. Loved their crab-cakes and was disappointed when taken off the menu. They are back on but not the same. Too much 'stuff' in them. All the other meals we've had have been very good. Went on a Saturday night about 8 and couldn't believe how sorry this place was. Young man hosted kept scratching his head had an attitude of can't wait till my shift is over. Wasn't busy yet I counted 6 tables that hadn't been cleared from previous customers and no rush in doing so since they were slow. Waitress was pleasant as if she was trying her best to make up for all the faults the place had. My plate came out with pasta on it yet I ordered steak and fried shrimp. My shrimp had a French fry cooked onto it yet didn't order fries baked potato. No salt at the table when asked for steak sauce by what seem to be management asking if everything was ok. She passed it on to the waitress which brought it out after a good 10 minute wait. Why ask me if your to busy which it was clear that you were not since maybe 8 tables in use. I think they rely to much on the name of the place and figure they don't have to meet standards. Which I would have went to Applebee's or McDonald's instead won't make this mistake again will drive the extra minute for clean and good service all around. read more

My Husband an I had dinner at this location last night. We were curious about the 2 for $24 and we also wanted to indulge in the unlimited salad bar. As with most Ruby Tuesdays, the salad bar was fresh and contained the most common salad fixings. In lieu of the 2 for $24 (since neither of us was interested in desert), we ordered entrees from the menu. The food was horrible from presentation to the actual taste of the food. We both found our meal to be comparable to what one might receive at a low end fast food burger joint. We will certainly never visit this particular restaurant again. read more

It's been awhile since me and my husband went but the last time we was there (about 3 months ago) it was very busy and had a wonderful new server. He was very nice and couldn't stop moving ( I can't remember his name now) food was great but me and my kids and husband had to leave half way through the meal and he made sure we had everything and our doggy bags. We go there all the time when we go out to eat and never had a issue. Great place good food and nice people read more

Dining with my wife and 7 yr old daughter. Started with drinks - Grey Goose martini for wife, a mojito for me. Waiter comes back with mojito ( and milk for daughter) and says that the bartender says they are out of Grey Goose. Wife asks for a pinot grigio and waiter leaves. He comes back immediately with that Grey Goose martini that they were out of! Okay, fine. She tastes it and doubts that it is Grey Goose and ends up switching to the wine. Waiter says the bartender is new and he sucks. Okay then! Mojito was borderline okay. I switched to Sam Adams later. I got the Black Fire sirloin with spicy shrimp with cheddar mashers and spaghetti squash. It was really good. No complaints here. Wife got some kind of salad which she seemed to like. Food was quite good, mixed drinks, not so much. Still, had a good meal. I assume the drink problem was just due to the new bartender. read more
