We just waited over 15 minutes at the window... the kids inside were laughing and messing around. It took them quite a bit before they even acknowledged us. The service is absolutely HORRIBLE . This was my second time being there and I will not be going back. The first time I was there the cashier was sassy and rude. As one the previous reviews says it's a "what do you want?" Kind of service. When the cashier who was attending us had a Coworker come up with an ice cream they said "the f*+k is this?" Ordered on the mobile app to pick up in the drive through.However upon arriving to the restaurant the cars were out to the road and I knew our wait would be significantly long so I parked and chose to go inside. The restaurant inside was disgusting spilled soda all over-the-counter and floor. Most of the ice cream toppings were spilled over. There were only 3 employees that looked very overwhelmed. But we waited in line for 45 mins and then when we got to the window we got our food and had to wait another 10mins or more to have cold food and melted blizzards. Pulled up to the drive thru. There was a cone by the last vehicle... no clue what it was for... should have known I guess... Got to the speaker (nobody behind me) and without even saying hello the speaker blared "We're not taking any more orders tonight." So we drive around and the young woman in the drive through window yells out "BYE BYE!" (in a sing-song voice) and laughs. We didn't say a word before or after this. Just disappointed that their cone didn't indicate their intentions and they apparently think it's funny to turn business away. Fortunately I have never had bad customer service here and the food and ice cream is on point. However, I don't recommend going in. I did this a few times this year (for the kids) and their place is dirty. Do not look up at the ceilings... I was afraid something was going to drop on my food... Yuck! Preface this review with the knowledge of DQ claiming to not be fast food. We rolled into the DQ lot and waited in line for 20 minutes. Once we so patiently arrived at the receiver, we ordered two burgers, two fries, and two blizzards. After the order was taken, we rolled forward, to wait some more. After another 5 minutes, we arrived at the window. Now at the window we waited for 5 minutes before our card was swiped. After the swipe, we waited another 5 minutes, and we received our blizzards. The blizzards then promptly began to melt, so we made the best of it by placing them in the shaded portion of the vehicle. We were then told we would have to wait for our two burgers, and two fries. So, we sat in the car, with our melting blizzards, and waited. We waited 10 more minutes, after which we received our food, and was told to have a good day. No apology for the wait, no offer ahead of the food to make sure our blizzards didn't die (i.e. placing them in the freezer until our food was ready). I'd like to know what causes the backup all the time? Why are we always subjected to waiting every time? Is drive through not prioritized over the lobby? Is the kitchen staff trained properly? The only positive side to this is they finally remembered to not put onions on one of the burgers as requested, so for that, thank you DQ. read more

Ever since the new owners took over, this place has gone downhill. We would sometimes order lunch for everyone at work and it was a lot of money, but now they are rude, won't let you order over the phone, and the app lets you get all the way through until you put your card number in and then it won't let you go further. It's sad to see what the previous owner built to the sorry place it is now. read more

Horrible service. My family and I walked in to order meals and stood at the counter with no assistance. There were five ladies behind the counter - which I had to ASK if someone would help us!?? To top off this experience of complacency of what actual customer service should be (which is their bread and butter), I ordered two vanilla soft ice cream cones for my toddler boys. When one of the boys asked for sprinkles on his cone, the lady behind counter sternly told me it was against company policy to give us sprinkles. I asked if she could just put some blizzard topping on instead and we'd pay the extra, again she said they couldn't do it?? Needless to say my boy had a complete meltdown inside. In the city we are from, Dairy Queen never had a problem doing a small request like this. Lastly, I'd like to add, my family is a Caucasian family. I hate to say our service was based on our ethnicity - but when two Hispanic customers came in after us, they were helped and created right away!!! Moses Lake is a prominent Hispanic demographic. Apparently the customer doesn't matter at this DQ. We asked for two hot fudge sundaes with fudge on the bottom of the dish . We were told they 'don't do that'. We offered to pay extra.
