We were in Ellensburg recently and found this place on Yelp for ice cream. It's a cool place with a lot of unique flavors. We got a couple scoops, Banana Split, and Hefty Hefer. We liked our ice creams, though we found them a little expensive.

We ordered the new pretzel dogs on 07/28 and the dough was uncooked and completely raw. I was not pleased with the food safety presented by the people at this business today. Typically the people inside and the business is really nice and well put together but not today.

O huckleberry extract, syrup, or berries in this Huckleberry ice cream.

I bought the Huckleberry ice cream. Found out , after buying it, there are no huckleberries in it. But you know what it does have? It has blueberries. Nothing huckleberry. It does not even have huckleberry extract. After looking at the ingredients list looking for it, I discovered it has instead: Corn syrup artificial flavors Artifical colors alcohol bean gum guar gum disodium phosphate Mono and diglycerides aluminosilicate potassium chloride. Instead of huckleberry ice cream I got ice cream full of cheap fillers trying to pass as real ice cream with real ( not artificial) flavor. I paid $6.25 and got an artificial 50 cent ice cream.

Probably the creamiest ice cream I have eaten. Next time I will stick to one scoop as it is rich and satisfying. Prices aren't posted in easily seen locale so I experienced sticker shock at $12 for two dishes (4 scoops total). But it was worth it once!

Blueberry cheesecake and a scoop of the red neck (raspberry and peanuts). Its messy but awesomely messy!

Great ice cream flavors, lots of them unique. Prices are low and the service is great. Come give it a try!

Ice cream is over freezerburnt. Food can be pricey. Reward system is difficult. Some staff are friendly and great. Others aren't.

I highly suggest trying an iced Milky Way, or one of their super awesome Extreme Bull flavors!

As my daughter and I oohed and awed over the bagel we had just bought in the little drive through behind this coffee shop, we were excited to round out our carb-loaded breakfast with some awesome coffee. Saw the reviews online and figured this would be a great place. Wrong. I ordered a simple iced Americano with cream and my daughter ordered a Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavored drink. We both asked for white coffee. Now, in all of my previous experiences with white coffee, it has a sweet and toasty flavor. Much less aggressive than a typical roasted bean that has turned a darker shade of brown. This was NOT AT ALL like white coffees I'd had before. Like I said, maybe it was a bad batch. If you ever snuck a raw dried bean from one of those mixed bean soup mixes and proceeded to chew on it . . . that's exactly what my Americano tasted like. It had almost zero color (white coffee is usually at least a little tan in color, even when some cream is added). This wasn't even ivory. The ice made for more than half of the cup. It tasted like raw uncooked bean water, with a splash of cream, over lots of ice. My daughter's tasted like someone ate a bowl of the cereal, poured out the leftover milk, strained it, mixed with one to one with water, and dumped it over ice, At east her raw uncooked bean water, with a splash of cream, over lots of ice was flavored with syrup. We - literally - gagged them down. The beans were definitely under-toasted. There was too much ice for the price. For both drinks, it was $12. Service was fine. Prices were high (but not abnormal for the area). I was originally going to give a slightly higher rating, but a coffee shop that specialized in white coffee drinks should have wondered why the beans smelled so raw when they were made into drinks. Now, if they are selling a new type of white coffee that is made from completely untoasted beans that intentionally tastes like uncooked dried beans, then my apologies. If you are looking for a typical white coffee drink that's sweet and toasty flavored, this isn't it.

While every dish is an eating experience, the Early Bird has monthly specials that are as unique as they are wonderful. The only problem: they only exist for that month (although manager Erica tells me they occasionally have made a monthly special a permanent fixture). Come early or late on weekends -- The Early Bird is often difficult to snag a table, especially on Sunday mornings and in the winter when they don't use their outdoor dining area. Also: their adjacent sister eatery, the Night Owl, is a similarly high-quality Korean restaurant.

Unfortunately for me, many other concert goers had the same Sunday morning plan. While The Early Bird is delicious, it's by no means speedy. We originally received a 45-minute wait for takeout, but ended up waiting closer to 75-minutes. My order consisted of the Eggs Benedict bowl with the veggie medley, monkey bread, and a hazelnut iced latte. The perfect cure after a night of debauchery. You can tell they're doing their best to manage crowd control, especially the morning after a popular concert. Something to note is that you must have a table secured before ordering food. They don't let you order and wait to be seated to help lessen the crowding. Pro tip: the city park behind this building is much better spot to wait for your food. There's seating and even private bathrooms - a god-send after a night of camping at the Gorge.
