His wife got pancakes TheThey ate about 2 kids that are three and 18 months, got pancakes and the waffles. They did not eat much but enjoyed the coloring pages. My turkey was ok except I did not enjoy the spicy greens. They seemed to upset my stomach. Everyone else was fine. My husband didn't like the meat loaf. He said that their food has gone down. The son and his wife ate everything of their breakfast. All in all , the food was ok. There were about two other families in the building. I will let you decide to try it or not. I have always liked Perkins. I think the staff are kind and efficient. But I hope corporate reads my review because I like a big breakfast with good breakfast meats. Your sausage is not a good sausage. Bacon is good and I enjoy that but I hope you will go back to the drawing boards with the sausage. I had both types and neither were good. I got Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit Breakfast, the biscuits were a bit dry and bland but I did ask for no gravy. It could've done without the slice of American cheese as well. I'd get more standard breakfast fare next time. I ordered sweet tea but never got a refill. Service was alright, accommodating enough but not great. My friend had given me 4 quarters before we went in and said just to trust him. Apparently the gumball machine out front has a special, if you get the color gumball the sign says you get a free cookie or muffin. How do all of these Perkins franchises keep going out of business when one of their breakfast sides is a delicious banana nut muffin? Always a great breakfast and great service. I could be down the street at Cracker Barrel choking down one of those dry corn muffins with no refill in sight because the server is MIA. Maybe Perkins just needs an "old country store" out front instead of a case full of desserts being swarmed by flies. That would put them back in the game. When I lived in Texas, we didn't have any, nor when I lived in Vegas. I saw this place this morning and I had to stop for breakfast. First of all, I will say that the place is very clean. Now, it was about 7:45 when I got there. I walked in and it says to wait to be seated. Now, it was a good five minutes before I saw any employees, and it looked like a cook came out to greet & seat me. He was nice, but as far as I saw, it was only him and a waitress. More employees showed up around 8:30, but they really needed more help earlier than that. I felt bad for the one waitress. She was nice and apologetic, but she needed help earlier. I ordered the chicken fried steak & eggs, breakfast potatoes, sourdough toast, coffee, and water. The eggs were cooked a perfect over hard. The chicken fried steak was very salty and a little tough. The gravy was good. The breakfast potatoes could have used a little more cook time. They were a little underdone in the middle of some. The sourdough toast was fine and not too heavy on the butter. The coffee was very weak. I'm not sure what kind they use, but it tasted like coffee flavored water. Overall, it was good, but not great. The waitress was exceptional. She just needed help earlier. I recently got brunch here and haven't been inside of a Perkins in so many years. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor change and it's such a relaxing environment with the neutral colors. I ordered the Fabulous Five, swapped out the buttermilk pancakes for toast. The bacon is super delicious here. My date had the country fried steak breakfast meal and really loved his as well.
