Food poisoning! My family ate here last night and are now all vomiting. Had chicken strips, fries, and Oreo hot cocoa blizzards. One had a hamburger, fries and same blizzard. Dairy Queen- you must be sure everyone that works for you is following food handling rules, cleaning and storing food at correct temp. My whole family is very sick because you did not. The best DQ, hands down. Of course the menu is the same as all other DQs but I just happen to really like this one. I always make it a point stop here on the way to the coast. Your only getting 1 star for your bad customer service! We needed ice in a bad way. We ordered over $30.00 in food for our party of 5. I asked not for 50# of ice but ice for about 8 crabs we have and some chicken. They wanted to charge us $0.50 for each cup of ice we would need.  Ok i get it. Your not a store. Nor are you in the business of giving away items for free. But what about human decency? What about the customer is always right? What about how panicked i was or how nicely i asked? I get it dq. Its all about making money. Not about customers. Thank you dq for not being there for your customers. I would have liked to point out your 2 unhelpful employees but Non of your employees wear name tags. Yes im upset. I desperately needed your help. Ice that you have a machine for. It was crowded when we got there. It's also a dated layout and could use some renovation. That said, we had a really good experience. They got our our order right, and quickly, given how busy it was. This is a location right off the highway - it get's slammed. It's also one of the only fast food joints in the vicinity. We ordered food for six, got what we expected. Everything was prepared well. I have a difficult time passing a Dairy Queen. We no longer have any in Bakersfield and that is a shame. Their blizzards are so thick and tasty. Sonics comes close but no cigar. This one in particular was very nice because all the employees were so friendly which made the Oreo fudge ice cream experience much more amazing. read more

Where else are you going to pee and grab a $1.25 cup of coffee (ehem brown water )on your way to the beach? This dq has the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in what is clearly a pit stop. I saw a grandpappy and his grandson sharing a sundae, I swore I had stepped into a Garth Brooks video it was so wholesome and deeply county. Check out the jerky man next door. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The gal that helped us brought our order out and threw it on our table. No joke! My 15 and 11yr old were flabbergasted. And that is only one instance of our short visit. We left as quickly as possible! read more

When I lived in Willamina I would go here like annually. But I made it a policy to not go in the summer because their restrooms are used more and more and then they have HORRIBLE sewer problems or something to where you have to breathe in feces.... Totally unsanitary. Everyone there is okay, they are friendly but this feces problem could be fixed. read more

I actually love the location between the city and the beach. Tons of parking. Decent prices, yummy ice cream! The lady at the counter was very friendly but you could tell that the drive-thru lady hates her job. She handed my son his order and he said thank you and she barely acknowledged his existence and didn't say a thing back. Oh well - won't keep us from going back! read more

I stopped by every now and then. The food is hot, good quality and the services is good. They remodeled the building and the inside is clean. DQ is the only fast food place in town; so they don't have many options. However this DQ dose a wonderful job and they act like there is a Burger King across the street. read more

It's Dairy Queen. Go in with low expectations, plenty of patience and extra time and you shouldn't be disapointed.

Just went over there. Decided to try it after living here over a year. Huge mistake. Ordered the 'deal' which was a cheesburger, fries, small blizzard, and drink for 5$. The speaker was so blown that you could barely understand her, but apparently she could understand me, so I guess thats ok....anyway, ordered my burger with NO ONIONS. went to the drive through where my card was taken by a cute blonde... almost give it another star for her, but I can't tolerate people getting food that has requested to have allergens taken out, in it. I am not allergic, but have a friend who is VERY allergic to onions. He would have been in the hospital. I asked the cashier if they got the requested no onions order ok, she went away and checked and said YES. So I parked and looked out at the nearby fields and ate my Blizzard before it melted (who's idea to include a melting dessert that people have to eat before their meal? Usually dessert is after the meal).... got to the burger, unwrapped it and it looked very thrown together.... greenish lettucy looking stuff all falling out all over it. I found a little round peice and thought, wow thats a unique looking peice of lettuce and ate it... and after I swollowed realized I was smelling onion very strong, and then the taste caught up with me. Peeling back the top bun, there was the onion.... also pretty much chopped like the lettuce. In fact the lettuce had fallen out so much there was more onion than lettuce. I took it back, told the cashier/order person who was standing there staring at a credit card machine holding a credit card like it was ready to bite her, and when she looked up (but not at me, studiously) I told her there are onions on this, I ordered no onions. She said, I put that through with no onions. Then the Blonde showed up, I said the said the same thing. She said she had asked the cook. One of them handed my burger to the cook, who immedately grabbed a patty from somewhere, through another burger together and slid it into the microwave, then wrapped it and handed it back. It pretty much tasted like the worst of the school lunch burgers, in fact I'd rate a school lunch burger (from the 70's) HIGHER than this one. Horrible experience, and IMHO they'll be lucky if someone allergic doesn't sue them. My opinoin, stay away, there are some decent places in Grande Ronde or even Coyote Joe's in Willamina... a Mexican place just off the highway in Sheridan thats ok... or just wait for the coast. read more

Let's face it the food at Dairy Queen food is terrible no matter where you are so I am rating this strictly on cleanness and ice cream. It is an older Dairy Queen so it is not the cleanest. But it's not intolerable. The ice cream has no problems but I recommend only going there for ice cream. read more
