I used to love going to Carl's Jr. cause they always used fresh ingredients. This time was the worst , food was slopped together, looked like it had been sitting awhile. My lady friend received a bbq burger she didn't even order . She didn't want to complain and ate the slop anyway. They need to get rid of that manager , and get someone who takes pride in their job. We went there when it first opened, yeah I know, lot of water under the bridge, but what's interesting is, our food (burgers/fries)in the drive through was barely warm. The fries were clearly batched hours before. Terrible ! So in all the years since, it doesn't look like "improvement" is the word for the day. We've only been here a couple of times but we enjoyed our meals. The staff could be more welcoming but they get the job done. The restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms. Our orders were accurate and came out fast. Once the cashier suggested a way to save money with a combo, and we appreciated that. The burgers we ordered were delicious and we will be back. read more

Placed an online order at 6:40pm with a eta ready status of 7:05 to pick it up via drive thru. All for me to get sent away to wait on my order. This took another 20 minutes of waiting. And then they forgot an item. The fries were all cold and our burgers/chicken sandwiches were burnt to a crisp. My advice is to just avoid this location altogether. We love Carl's Jr.'s breakfast burger, so we went in and ordered two, paid for two, got home and there was only one. Called them, NO APOLOGY, drive back, got a "Here you go" from the counter clerk and still NO APOLOGY for their complete screw up. These people want high pay to put out CRAP service. Won't be going back any time soon. read more

This is my fist time ever eating at Carl's Junior. However, I was very impressed with this fast food chain. This location is one of the cleanest fast food restaurants that I have ever been in. Disappointed in the service from the drive through gal. I always always make sure to say NO ONIONS. I say it several times so they understand. And my California cheese burger had chopped onions all over it. I even reiterated at the window that I don't want onions. So my neighbor got a burger and I'm having cereal! Dammit. read more

$30 worth of burgers, not one I can eat. Went there a few days ago and they made zero burgers correctly. So I checked the hard ones before we left this time and they were good. Get home, the others I didn't check, all wrong. They are as bad as the McDonald's on hwy 18. That place has never made anything right. Plus they charge boat load of money for a burger. This Carl's Jr, is pretty good. The "California Classic" burger is okay but it's nothing like In-N-Out. The bathroom was nice but there were 5 young boys wrecking havoc in there when I tried to relieve myself. When I walk in the workers are confused and look around as if none of them know how to take my order. I am never greeted, only stared at. This place makes me feel like an alien. It is amazing how bad the service is here. I went to get some food and they tell me that they are doing maintenance in the kitchen it will be a 20 minute wait. Which ended up being 35 minutes. I say that is fine. He tells me to wait in the parking lot. I pull through when the time is right and he tells me that they cant serve any food because they can't get the pilot light lit. Worst service I've ever had. Had to do a walk up order, it was 90 degrees outside and I was kept waiting for more than 30 min while 8 cars went through the drive thru, we were waiting for 2 combos, and had a truck and trailer so the drive thru was not an option. Will never recommend or return. Previous visits were frustrating but reasonable but this was absolutely the worst customer service I've ever had. read more

This place was horrible. Ordered cheese burgers and chicken strips to go. It took 10 minutes, it was not busy. The kitchen staff looked unorganized and lost. My cheese burger was cold. Like they took it out of the cooler and placed it on a bun. The chicken strips were soaked with grease. I should of looked up the reviews before we stopped. read more

We havent been there much. Their burgers are sloppy and hard to eat on the run and about five years ago hubby got bad food poisoning there. He went there by himself after leaving lowes and was very sick soon after. He had been vomiting uncontrollably while laying on the floor unable to get up. Ive really never seen anyone so sick. I have been here many times and the food has been what to be expected. The quality of the burgers is way better than a mcdonalds but that's not saying much. I haven't been in a few month because when I went inside I noticed that the food handlers were not wearing gloves. I asked the person upfront why this was because I thought I had seen them wearing them before. The worker told me that they didn't have to. A couple minutes later I saw them all putting them on. Worst service ever. Wanted to order taquios but it was 10:15, they dont make them until 10:30. Counterhelp was cool, I guess. She asked the cook if they could make a batch early for me. Only one Other customer there at the time. My Husband waited inside for the food and I went out to the truck to wait as we had a bunch of tools in the back of it and didn't want to have them swiped. I waited and waited. I watched numerous people walk in and come out 5 min later with their food. I finally went back inside to find my husband leaned against the wall, waiting. He was the only one in line. People were now inside dining. The manager saw me and I asked him what's up with our order? He replies something in Spanish, maybe? Then he said "so sorry". Another 3 minutes pass, we are now at 20 minutes Waiting for FAST FOOD. Is it the taquitos that hosed the order? Order should have been comped. Apology from the manager would have been nice. And speaking the language of your country would have been nice. We should have asked for our money back after 10 minutes Carl's owes us $15 minimum, almost late for our appointment. I love this Carl's Jr.! It's immaculately clean, the staff is fast, competent and polite. All that is awesome all by itself--but their burgers! They look exactly like the ones on television and in their ads. The people making them really take pride in their work. And it's not like a lot of places where you'll just happen to luck out once in a while---getting a picture-perfect, tasty burger there happens regularly. That's why it's the only fast food I ever eat. The manager there should be proud---and everybody should get a raise. This is how burgers are supposed to be! read more

I usually like this restaurant but the last taco salad I got was awful=\ It was so full of water that it was more like soup in a soggy shell. I tried calling, to give them a chance to make it right but just kept getting a fax machine shrieking in my ear. Not so sure I will make that choice again. read more

They have gotten my order wrong a few more times. They have always been very nice and made it right but not something that should be happening as often as it has. Couldn't make any fries or onions rings because they were changing the fryer oil. That's why you do one fryer at a time. Annoyed

This location is a Carl's Jr and Green Burrito in one, as most are now becoming. While I've been here many times, I felt the need to review based on my most recent visit here. I placed a pretty hefty order, about $30 worth for 5 people (Which is a great deal compared to other drive thru's) our last stop for food before heading to the beach, and the woman working the window was polite and courteous as we placed our massive order, always reconfirming items for good measure. The food was delivered quickly and we only had one issue, I received regular Fries instead of the upgraded Sweet Potato, we caught this error before driving away, so I went inside, showed them the receipt, and what I received. The manager was very apologetic, and quickly brought me a fresh made batch of the Sweet Potato, and gave me 2 ice-cream sandwiches for the inconvenience! Wonderful service and great staff. I am very frustrated at the moment. I ordered the Charbroiled Chicken Club sandwiches this evening at the drive through. Both had a chicken patty that was so rubbery they were not edible. I called the store and was told by the "manager" i would have to bring them back. Ummm...when someone goes through a drive through they are usually en route somewhere else! I told her repeatedly there was apparently something wrong with the meat or perhaps how it was cooked. (rubbery like it had been microwaved too long) Not going to drive another 10 miles back. Not going to recommend the establishment to anyone either. Food quality has gone way down in the past 6 months. Not sure what's going on there. read more
