Fast courteous service and the sandwich was delicious. Live close by and this is our go to place to pick up a sandwich we know will be made with fresh ingredients. We like the Italian, but there is a sandwich to please everyone. Try Jersey Mike's, it might become your "go to" place when you don't feel like cooking. I have been a Jersey Mikes fan since I first heard of them. I used to go in to another store in Tualitin which I became friends with most all of them. When Newberg store opened, I thought the Heavens above answered my prayers as I live in Lafayette. I went into Newberg store when they first opened and it was a mess, to say the least. Absolutely the worst!! No choices of bread, no sourdough, no lettuce to make lettuce wrap sandwiches. You can have shredded (old) lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, bacon (I wouldn't), no cucumbers, they have some jalapeños? And pickles. Wraps are only wheat type, ( they have to adapt a little to us that can't eat gluten.) Service is ok, they don't care that they don't have what you want. Not apologetic, just no we don't have it. I went into Jersey mikes for the 2nd time since it opened. I ended up walking out both times. Tonight was just too much stupid in one place. When I walked in, there was some guy sitting in a chair in the "order here" line. of course, he was on his phone. I asked if he was in line to order. He held up the ssshhhh finger. Ok, so I walked around him. he started to say something, so I returned the ssshhhh finger to him. So I'm waiting in line to get my sandwich made and I realized I left wallet in my car. I went out to get it, and when I came back in "Finger guy" was doing his best to change some things on the 2 orders his wife called in, and place a large 3rd order. as he did his best to slur his way through the order, the employees were laughing at him and walking away from the order counter to share jokes about him. I looked at this sh!t show and walked out. he's probably STILL there trying to slur and mumble his way through the first order. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how the food is, or how well the staff treats customers. Where's the "Under cover Boss" when you REALLY need him/her. Good sandwiches but I ordered rosemary Parmesan bread for both sandwiches. One one was right. And I paid extra for avocado on the chicken chipotle and I got no avocado on a beef chipotle. So totally wrong read more

Last time I went into this establishment it was amazing, but this time was much worse! There was a manager or some sort of higher up that was working, and she was incredibly rude to the girls that she was working with!! I think her name was Isa because that's what one of them called her, but she was yelling at everyone that she was working with, even a customer!! She had an attitude the whole time I was in the shop, and it made me feel very unwelcome. I hope the girls she was working with are okay because she was being so so rude to those poor girls doing their jobs. I hope she learns to do better! read more

This is my 2nd time coming to this location and the last. The first time everything went well and the subs were great. This 2nd time, it didn't go well. The person preparing my order was rude and made a snarky comment about how many subs I was ordering. Mind you that the store was empty at the time. The lettuce was brown, and the subs didn't taste good. I don't recommend them. There are plenty of other good places to go for subs. read more

Before the bad part I will say I did an online order and when I went to pick up they were friendly and greeted right away. BUT 3/4 of us got very upset tummies after eating here, one kiddo didn't eat too much so I'm thinking that's why his tummy was ok luckily as he is younger. read more

Today's experience was kinda eh... I totally get that their new and I see that they're trying. But it took twenty minutes to get a sandwich, they almost gave my sandwich to someone else before someone stepped in . I'd like to see a glove changing every once in awhile which I didn't see ... at subway I had to change my gloves every sandwich. They also have 4x the staff that a subway would have but only three of the 10-12 people were making subs and the others idk what their job was but it felt like it could have been more efficient. I also unfortunately had a hair in my sub .... I'll be back at some point but probably give them a few weeks to get it more together. read more

As soon as I walk through the door i'm welcomed in,and the enthusiasm only goes up from there! The AC keeps the place comfortable, with amazing atmosphere for any sub joint I've ever been to. Not to mention the food for takeout, which I get home and eat half of my sandwich, and save the other half for dinner. I will be a returning customer! read more

Agree with customer service issues. Not clear how the process even worked. Had four different staff rapidly ask me a question. Could not even figure out what they were asking. Oh, yes, "Mike's Way?" Ok, sure. Then, despite giving 15% tip, the three staff staring at me blankly could not even be bothered to put my four sandwiches in a bag. It was a weird experience and sandwich was merely ok. OK....so I decided to give this Jersey Mikes another chance and try. Was there around 500 pm yesterday 3/29 walked in, stood in line (10 minutes) with only 2 people in front of me. Being that I'm handicapped I sat down at one of the tall chairs until finally my turn came up, approached the counter the guy looks at me, I'm waiting for him to at least say something to me(never happened) not a HI, HOW are you or whatever, I gave him my order and he gave me my ticket so I could pay at the end. I ordered the Mikes Phylly large, and said NO PEPPERS. The place again was dirty, counters not appetizing looking(plenty of help there) but do you think that anyone wiped anything down?? NO!! The one girl she was just looking around doing nothing. So I got my order, got home, I like putting it in the oven so the bread get crispy it's so good that way. I bite into it, and sure enough it had peppers. So, Mr Owner....I gave the place another chance, BUT THIS WAS CERTAINLY the LADT ONE AND NO MORE!!
