The customer service was so rude. The girl at the window was rude and we asked for a senior discount at the ordering speaker and reminded them at the window. The girl ran the card and did not put the discount onto our order. We asked her to add it afterwards and she said it could not be done and said to bad when we explained to her that she can do it. We have been to countless Dairy Queen's and they can give the discount after the order has been done but just refunding and then charging the card again with the discount attached and it takes less time than it takes to explain that they can't give a discount. The staff needs to be better trained on customer service and making of the food as there was also a hair in our pretzel sticks and our blizzard was not blended all the way to the bottom only half way. The managers also need to learn all of the proper functions on the register and teach the staff to ask the manager if they are unsure instead of just saying that they can't do it because they don't feel like it. read more

I've never entered a DQ to have the person at the counter look at you the. turn her back to you and complain about her day to her male coworker. After about 5 minutes she turned back to the cash register and just stared at me. I asked her if I could place an order, she said well yes. When I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile from a young man with neat glasses and earrings. While I was ordering I was having a hard time deciding what to enjoy, but thanks to the young man he was patient and helpful with me, and recommended me the chicken meal. When I ordered the chicken meal deal and received it nice and warm. Thanks to the young man the Dairy Queen it felt really welcoming, and the lobby was clean unlike others I've been to. The other employees who were there brought the energy of the establishment up and welcoming. As I was leaving, the young man smiled and told me to have a great day. Do not give this location your business, we've been by multiple times and had the lobby doors locked with the open sign on and people in the drive thru and employees just staring at us while we try the door. I messaged corporate about this location as well. I went in here with my husband about a month ago. I rarely eat fast food, and this place is super far out of the way for me. So I hadn't been here in years. I honestly only went in because a friend had posted on social media that they had pumpkin spice Blizzards. Figured I'd go check it out. We walked in to an empty restaurant around. 4 in the afternoon. It was clean, at least. The service was ok, nothing special, but nothing to complain about either. Really not the most memorable experience of my life. Lol. We ordered just the single tiny pumpkin spice Blizzard. The cashier seemed a bit surprised by the fact that's all we ordered. We had dinner plans for the night, and I really just wanted to try the Blizzard. My husband finished it for me, and that was perfect. Terrible service. Ordered food and they gave me food that had been sitting out before I even ordered. Refused to make fresh order for me. Food was disgusting rock hard and dry AF. Lied to me about my sundae saying it was a large when it was a medium (still charged me for a large) and last time I went in I ordered hot fudge and they gave me strawberry. When I said I ordered hot fudge the girl filling my order said "no you said strawberry." I'm allergic to strawberry's so why would I order poison. They refused to make my hot fudge and said I would take the strawberry or I could leave. They stole my money. Always scamming people here it's horrible. DONT BOTHER wasting your money here! Just ordered a blizzard (drive thru) and it was completely melted. After several times 5-6 times getting our orders wrong, spoiled chicken, runny blizzards, wrong food, Every time when I get to the window they ask questions about my order. I asked for a frozen hot chocolate with peanut butter added in. Got to the window and the girl said "We don't understand, no chocolate in the frozen hot chocolate?" I said "yes just add some peanut butter in with it." Ordered a cheeseburger and the whole thing was cold. Burger was cold, cheese Laid on unmelted. They need to hire more competent people. I visited this store and ordered a shake. After 10 minutes I asked about the shake and 2 workers viewed my receipt and said they would make it. Neither did and I asked a second time. Went by main st DQ at 9:15 and the open sign was off??? Online said they close at 10. We drove out of the parking lot and I decided to call and double check and they said they closed at 10. Went back and told them their open sign was off and all of the exterior lights were off making it look like they're closed and they acted as if they didn't know and said "well we close in 30 minutes anyway" and proceeded to not turn the open sign back on. I've treated myself twice before to a blizzard, so, the fact that I felt the need to stop by was strictly because apparently the mint cookies and cream is a "special" flavor, not offered all the time. While it's tough to mess up a delicious frozen treat, they managed to give me a blizzard I'll never stop there for again. Large serving was in a tall narrow cup, not the large wide-mouth cup shown in tv ads. Mint flavor was all at the top, cookies all at the bottom. I knew it was served to me super quick. I guess when I ordered I was supposed to say, please, take your time and make sure it's thoroughly blended. I keep forgetting, there is no such thing as management making sure kids learn their job, common courtesy, or anything else that makes these treats enjoyable all around. read more

One star is pushing it... Service is so horrible all around. It started in the drive through where the girl was taking my order. There appears to be a lot more employees working at one time now, and the food didn't have any mold on it after I mustered up the courage to order food there again after the remodel. I am SO sick of this location closing down two-thirds of their dining room at 7:30 at night. Every. Night. The lazy employees slog around half a** cleaning the booths for two and a half hours and have nasty attitudes to boot. The last third of the open space of the dining room has all of the condiment baskets pulled out to the end of the tables inviting you to turn around and take your food to go. Not to mention they slip the nasty mat off the floor up into one of the "open" booths. Tonight was the final straw. They made us move tables after we'd already sat. I'd agree- I love Dairy Queen, even though this location does not rank anywhere close to the top. I did end up there on occasion, I didn't live all that far while growing up. Hands down my favorite item from this location is the chicken strip basket. You gotta love the ice cream cakes! I've gotten a few from them. This is the worst Diary Queen in town and my family and friends think the same way. The worst service, the worst food. The ice cream you can't ruin because you only have to serve it.
