    Smash burger patty.

Terrible Service and Food - We ate at the Nave Kitchen and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When we asked questions about the menu, the server seemed inconvenienced by even basic inquiries, which set an uncomfortable tone from the start. The $14 smash burgers were the biggest letdown. They were so overcooked and thin that the patties had a Swiss‑cheese‑like appearance, with holes throughout and barely any actual meat -- nearly see‑through. Even my husband, who prefers his burgers well‑done, couldn't enjoy them. Had we not had a 2.5‑hour drive ahead, we would have asked for them to be remade or requested a refund. The fries were fine but nothing special; basic frozen shoestring fries. Surprisingly, the best‑tasting item was our son's small shake, which was $8. For that price, I expected a larger portion. I did notice that the to‑go shakes come in bigger cups, so if anyone orders one, I'd recommend getting it to go to actually receive the amount you're paying for. The ambiance initially seemed nice, but the service overshadowed it. Even after tipping before receiving our food, there was no acknowledgment or appreciation, and the interaction felt curt and disengaged. Based on this visit, I wouldn't be able to recommend the restaurant.

Stopped by for a few beers. The place is really cool. It's an old church converted to a pub. There are several restaurants inside and I chose to get a falafel wrap. It came out within 10 min and it was small but pretty good. Played some cards. Cool place to visit.

Deep fried chicken from Nave kitchen

The Nave Kitchen Fried Chicken is the worst. I'm really disappointed with my recent order. The fried chicken was extremely dark brown and looked over-fried. When I went back to ask, I was told it's just deep fried and the spice is dark brown -- but this wasn't just seasoning color. The quality and texture clearly reflected overcooking. I had taken out, otherwise I would surely rerun. What's even more disappointing than the food was the response. Instead of acknowledging the issue, I felt like I was given an explanation that simply wasn't honest. Very poor quality and even worse customer service. I won't be returning.

Cute spot for family time, lots of seating everywhere and pretty spacious. Not too bad to sit outside in during the summer! Food trucks for everyone really, I saw latin food, desserts, burgers, pizza, barbecue and hawaiian food. We tried a bit of everything and it was all pretty solid. Drinks were good as well. Service was very friendly. Favorites were the hawaiian food and the burgers, fries could've for sure been crispier. We ended with milkshakes and they were pretty good too.

What a great concept! Food truck style place with a bar that looks like a church. The place was busy for a Monday night, but it's karaoke night. There are lots of seating areas and we found seats, no problem. I like that there is both a "brewery" section and then a full bar. That way everyone can enjoy! Super easy to order everywhere. Fun place for everyone.

A nice local IPA (sorry I forgot its name)

Fun food concept in a beautiful renovated church. You can have foods from several vender while sitting in a cozy space. I had tacos and my guy had a burrito from Tonalli Latin Kitchen. Be sure to order the red and/or green sauce for full flavor! Both dishes were delicious with nice spice! There is also a great selection of local beers. One slight caveat is that only a few vendors were open at lunchtime on a Tuesday.

Smash burger and fries from Tiny's West Coast Kitchen

I was on a weekend gal pal trip from out of state and stopped by Springfield during our wine tasting tour, but we wanted to get lunch first and happened to spot Public House. We instantly could tell it would be a winning spot for us. The building is a renovated church that retained its beautiful stained glass windows. Inside was a food court with a decent variety of cuisine options, and I instantly honed in on a smash burgers joint called Tiny's West Coast Kitchen (which I later learned only opened about 3 weeks prior). There was also a large beer hall that offered a range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic pours from across the PNW region. I ended up with a Springfield-brewed cider that had notes of pineapple Dole whip, mango, and vanilla - a perfect complement to my juicy smash burger and fries. It was a delicious lunch that filled my stomach and the rest of my senses too. I recommend y'all stop by when in Springfield, it's not just the murals and the wine!

This space has the food truck/fair food vibe that we love! The brew portion had flights available and a wonderful selection of local beers. We forgot to take pictures of the burgers we tried, but they were fresh and tasty! Highly recommend.

Good selection of food options, nice separation of seating. None of the food vendors are outstanding or I'd rate it higher.

The interior design is cozy and booths are a nice way to catch up with a small group. I think they're still working on food consistency and getting the menu down pat. My meat-eating friends were enjoying the wings, but one larger wing had blood inside; to the credit of the server, he took it away and brought another plate of wings on the house, and no problems with the second plate. I got the cauliflower with salsa macha. The general flavor and idea for the dish were good, but the dish was SO salty that it was hard to eat. I found myself scraping off the salsa macha to create bites that didn't sting the tongue (I was pretty hungry). It seemed like someone wasn't tasting each component of the dish in the kitchen and sent out a plate that was almost too salty to eat. There aren't a ton of vegetarian options here and it's pricey, so I'm not sure I'll return. I miss the old Coldfire with DOP.

This location is small but has some excellent stuff. I only came to get a sandwich but also got a strawberry macaron for my kiddo since she loves them. I got the Foxtrot sandwich, and I have to say it's one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. I wasn't sure I'd like the basil-hazelnut pesto--I don't like filberts--but you couldn't actually taste that signature hazelnut flavor. It was also really filling, and I only ate half of it in that sitting. I was really sad when I realized after I left Eugene that I left the second half in my sister's refrigerator. They usually make it with focaccia, but they'd run out the afternoon I stopped in so I chose sourdough instead and you know, I'd probably ask for it on sourdough again instead of the focaccia. An update, since I started this review in April 2026 and hadn't posted it yet as of August 2026 (but will today!): I had the summer BLT and it was delicious. It comes with micro greens as a side by default, but I paid extra for the frites instead. It was a very filling meal, and I'm glad I made it my choice this time! My sister got the fish and chips, which she wasn't as happy with, so next time she'll stick to the steak frites. Service was great. They have some nice quality foods for sale in the place--not a huge bit of merchandise, but a good selection. They also apparently have a happy hour daily from 3-5 with specials. There's a lot of seating, and on the nice days they have quite a few tables outside. Parking is a little trickier. There's retail on the first floor, but a few flors of apartments above, so the parking lot is split in half between the apartments and the restaurants. It took a few minutes and a few spins around the lot (plus checking street availability) but I got lucky with a space. But there's lots of residential streets around so you'll be able to find parking somewhere.
