TRUE STORY: I walked up to the counter and two employees were playing the game Uno. They looked at me and then kept on playing the game then I asked him if you don't mind could you stop playing your card game so you can take our order. She rolled her eyes and then took our order. We got our food pretty quickly and I asked to talk to the manager afterwards and he said yeah I know I was one of the ones playing card games and I said that is very unprofessional and I can see why you only have two stars on Yelp. We're getting ready to leave Dairy Queen and they are still playing cards and laughing about it. Normally I won't post anything on Facebook that says a bad review about restaurants, but I do that as a side gig as a foodie and on Yelp as well as an elite status and super plus contributor. Tonight this was the worst in Customerservice. You can't make these things up folks I was totally in disbelief. I will be contacting Corporate and filling out my Customer survey that they gave me with my receipt. read more

The food was so amazing the workers were great especially the manager and even played a game of uno with the workers 10/10

This was my first visit in a long time and may be my last. The lady at the counter took the guys order that came in after me before me then it went down from there. I placed my order and sat down to wait. She came with an order and before I could say anything she sat it down and walked away. Wrong order. She came back a minute later with my order and dropped the tray on the table and grumpily stated this is your order, oh well here. Then walked away. She left the wrong order as well. Not sure what to do with the wrong one I left it there. They were not busy yet the dining room was dirty. All the empty tables needed a good cleaning. The service was horrible. A fryer in the back (a bigger man) called me poor. He also had a disgusting attitude. He said I had no bitches. Very unprerfecional, would not recommend. Love how fast the service was!! They have really made some big changes here! My chicken strips were delicious and my fries were hot!! My husband got a burger and he said it was one of the best he has had! My daughter got a hot dog, it was good too. She ate the whole thing! Was just there over the weekend and got a couple of the 6 buck meals. The ice cream sundaes that comes with the meals weren't even half full they charge you too much for extra things like nuts and sauces. They could be a little more generous with their serving sizes. This is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever been to. The Princeton one is so much better than this. I'm surprised they don't charge you to use the bathroom at this joint. I went to drive thru today to order to go chicken strip basket for my 6 year old son,my son was complaining about the food it was so old,tough and horrible taste so I threw them away waste of my money. I remember Dairy Queen, when you could get a really nicely done meal for cheap. They used to have great burgers and fries. We ordered Coney dogs, cheese dogs and 2 cheeseburgers and fries. The hot dogs were ok, nothing special, but ok. The burgers had no taste whatsoever, no seasoning, flavor. It was like eating cardboard. It was so bad, I wouldn't even have fed that to my dog. The fries were overdone and hard.They still have really good milkshakes, that's the only reason they got a 2 star. read more

Horrible service at Vincennes Dairy Queen! ( Doesn't deserve even one star) I have never had trouble with this Dairy Queen in Vincennes, Indiana until May 25, 2015. I ordered a Blizzard at the Drive through. With one car in front of me I had to wait at least 5 minutes which is not a problem. I paid for the ice cream and when she served it upside down some of it poured out on the drive. She even glanced down because she noticed the liquid that poured out. (Isn't the purpose of serving a Blizzard upside down to show how thick it is)? I asked if I could have another that was not melted. She argued the fact that it was not melted and began stirring it rapidly with my spoon. Little did she realize it was becoming runnier as she rapidly stirred? I asked again if I could have another. She flipped around and said loudly to her coworkers that she had to make another Blizzard and was clearly very irritated with a poor attitude. She was gone about 30 seconds and retuned with the same blizzard only with new ice cream added on top and smoothed out even with the lip of the cup so when she turned it upside down, nothing would run out. Did she really think she was fooling me that this was a new Blizzard? I repeated that I paid $4.27 for ice cream (and to myself I thought I didn't order a milkshake and you should NEVER argue with a paying customer). She was even more irritated so I asked for the manager on duty which was the owner's son. I explained to him my situation and told him the employee was extremely rude and should be fired. He said no she shouldn't be fired; she is a good worker and followed that with "I must defend my employees". (At the expense of losing a customer and the chance of bad reviews leaking out I asked myself)? I believe in defending employees that deserve it but not this type of behavior and at the expense of losing customers who could tell anyone and everyone he/she knows about the bad experience! He told me "Let me refund your money and don't come back, I don't care". Wow! Customer service is surely on the decline in this establishment. He told me it wasn't that melted and they have a lot of equipment in the store. Now I am getting excuses from the manager. I said "I get them in Fort Branch all the time when they are busy and they aren't melted". They clearly made the blizzard and it sat on the counter while I waited to get to the window. It was not the equipment and they weren't fooling me with their excuses. I was clearly shocked at how an employee and a manger would talk to a customer and I admit I was hasty because of the mistreatment. He signed and said just make another one with disgust in his tone. I said "Buddy, you need to learn how to run a business and how talk to customers" and he yelled to the employees... "Don't make another blizzard". He refunded my money and said "Don't come back". I know his dad and I stated that I would be glad to report this to his him and he said "I don't care". I gladly took my money and went to the grocery store and bought a half gallon of ice cream on sale for less than the cost of the blizzard. It is disappointing how customer service is becoming a thing of the past. My original plan was to personally talk to the owner but I know how it works. I am certain that the manager and employee would change the story to cover their tail ends and the owner would believe his son over a customer. The customer and their patronage is far too important to lose, especially in today's economy, and I cannot believe the owner would probably dismiss this without reprimanding these two, even if it is his son. I was going to drop it but was encouraged by several to write a review so here it is. What better way to express my frustration and to let others know how they treat some customers at the Vincennes Dairy Queen. This is more of a heads up to the owner of how his son and employees acted on May 25, 2015 and no matter what; customer service should be #1 priority. read more
