If I could give zero stars I would. Went there tonight and ordered chicken fingers. They charged me for steak fingers and I got steak fingers but didn't notice until I got home. Called with my concern and they said the only way that they can fix it is if I drive alllllllll the way back and return their food in exchange it for what I actually ordered. They make the mistake yet I have to pay for it. As slow as yall already are here you have lost another customer. I went threw the drive thru today and asked for a small cone because I have a toddler. I even showed the girl at th window how high. A guy gives her this large cone and it's obvious she's telling him what I said. He shrugs and gives me a spoon to knock off the top. It's a chain that has been around for ages and even though I have never been a fan of their burgers the deserts rocks. Awful customer service. Purposefully ignored at the drive though five minutes before closing. By the time I backed out to go inside, they said "we technically just closed." Yeah, no duh. If you had taken my order at the drive through like you were supposed to, it wouldn't have been an issue. Zero stars!! Been here many times due to its the only close DQ. Every time has been super slow!! At least 15 mins in drive thru even when we are the only ones in line. Sorry to say this was the most filthy place that I have seen in a long time. Employees were lounging around while front of restaurant was filthy. Customers were asking for water to dip napkins to clean their table. One employee was tossing ice creams from the cooler in the front of the store to employees in the back. Needless to say not call passes were completed. One of them nearly missed my wife. No apology offered, of course. If their were a manager on site I am not sure what he was doing. I ordered a dr. Pepper at this dq earlier and when i got to the bottom, there were eggshells in it that i accidentally sucked up. This is such a terrible place to come to. The people here have no sense of urgency. The drive thru was sooooo slow. That was probably the worst part of the whole visit. It took 20-30 mins just to give my order, and then another 15 to wait to get my order. And if someone is ordering a large meal before you, forget it....it will take forever to get your order! I don't think I'll ever be coming back again. I got the chocolate dipped cone and it tastes so good, but presentation was really bad. People that work here need to know how to do the "curls" on the ice cream cause hello that's what Dairy Queen is known for!!! That's what makes me so aggravated! I've been to other ones and they look fine, but at this place it comes out terrible!! I don't think I'm ever coming here again. 0 stars! No recommendation. I placed an online order. I went to the door to pick it up. The kids inside came to the door, looked at me, and then walked away. I went around the the other door, same thing. Went to the drive through window and they all started busting out laughing. I just stood there. I just wanted my food that I had ALREADY paid for. They came to the window and said that they had no online orders. I have a receipt on my app. Told them I wanted a manager. The girl came up and said the manager was there, but not anymore (after 30 seconds of me standing there?!). I asked for my food. Everyone in the back was laughing like crazy. I walked away and called and asked for the name of everyone on staff, especially and I quote "the Mexican guy who came to the door and laughed in my face" and they said "oh no! If you are going to make fun of the races of our kids employees here, then BYE!" And hung up on me. Wtf?! Make fun of?! I used it as a descriptive word. Anyone catch my last name here?! This is the most HORRIBLE Dairy Queen ever! The manager is just plain careless and should not be managing an establishment. The service is beyond slow, the restaurant is always a mess, bathrooms out of order, rude employees, always out of products, and when updating the manager with concerns he says "it's not my fault". If I was a health inspector I'm certain this would not have been his response to my concerns. I was absolutely surprised to see so many others on this site with the very same concerns I have. The employee sounds like a broken record "Sorry we are out of tacos" In a monotone voice. Not rocket science - either order more or take them off the menu. After reading these reviews, "Out of tacos" "Out of waffle cones" and "Out of hotdogs" One has to wonder if management is clueless on running what could have been a very lucrative business. Lastly, and the most aggravating of it all- if they are out of what you want and a car pulls up behind you, you are stuck in the 20-25 minute line. There is no pull out of line option. I've just about had it with this particular Dairy Queen. Service is terrible and extremely slow. What has filled me with rage are the terrible quality of Blizzard's they make. I constantly get a cup with some liquid ice cream in it that overflows in my car rather than the thick ice cream they advertise. When I order a blizzard with chocolate only the top quarter of the blizzard is chocolate, the rest is just plain vanilla ice cream. My last visit to this Dairy Queen is definitely my last until they get managers who care about service in quality. I frequent this location because it's Helotes and the only drive thru burger place actually here. The woman in the drive thru is always rude and short tempered but nbd, and the wait is always ridiculous, but hey don't go if you don't have time right? Well today I found a hair in my burger and was like :( but we are all human and mistakes happen so I called and just asked for them to remake it. The employee of the phone goes "okay just bring your receipt and I'll have it remade" okay, kind of inconvenient but I'm hungry and don't want hair burger so I'm down. I get there and the manager takes it upon himself to come out and imply I'm trying to steal a three dollar hamburger, because I only brought the receipt and not the hairy burger. After being a complete butt he gives me the burger, but now I feel like poo right because he made it a nasty experience. So I go all the way home again collect the burger and take it back. I tell him that if it's required they should say bring the receipt and the hair burger back so we can give you a new one. He then proceeds to laugh and say people lie all the time and he'll apologize if it will make me feel better. Well it didn't, and you're rude. I recently visited this DQ with my kids and it was a mix of pluses and minuses. First plus - buy one blizzard get one for $0.99 (any size too!), that's a BIG PLUS when buying ice cream for the whole troop! Another plus - our food was brought to our table super hot! Fries should only be served hot! Big minus - dead bugs on the window sill. I know they clean the tables, I wish they'd take the extra time to thoroughly clean the benches and window sills as well. There should never be dead bugs right next to customer seating! While the place is nice (looks newly remodeled) it will forever be known in my house as the DQ with the dead bugs! I've been there twice. It's the closest DQ to our home. The first time I was there it was quite dark outside but their menu was not lit up. I asked if they were open, they said that they were but that they don't turn their lights on until a certain hour. I could not read the menu at all. The last time I was there, they were painfully slow. We were the only car in the drive through, it took them 3 minutes to ask for our order and though it wasn't a difficult order, nothing special, it took them over ten minutes to get our drinks to us. Also, when I ordered, I wanted a drink that didn't go with the meal so they simply said, "you can't have that with a meal." They didn't offer an upcharge, just, "no." They didn't even have the flavor of the month blizzard which was why I stopped there in the first place. You'd think they'd have the flavor of the month!!! It was on their marquee! I visited this location 4/1/21. This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a Dairy Queen. Not only did i have to wait over 30 minutes but the order was wrong and cold. Several other customer complained while i was in the restaurant waiting for my food. The staff is was overwhelmed. Not once did a manager come out to help the crew. This is where the problem lies. The management is horrible. When i got home and discovered the order was incorrect. I called several times with no answer. I called the next day with the same results. I decided to go back and see if a refund could be processed and i was greeted by the most unprofessional male manager. Absolutely no customer service or apology. He simply denied the refund and asked me to leave. He stated i needed to bring back the food from the prior day to get a refund. not once did he try to make the situation right. I tried to obtain the franchise owners info but was told "he was the owner". He finally gave me a corporate number to call. I filed a complaint and requested a refund. I would avoid this location at all cost. The management at this location is going to cost the franchise owners their business. read more

Waited 15 minutes in drive thru... waited 5 minutes to pay cashier and she did not give me my drinks (2 meals)I had to knock on window 15 minutes later which she promptly gave me my drinks that I know were sitting there. I told her I should not have to wait 15 minutes which she closed the windows and then the manager Ernest had my food and I told him I was the only one in line and that I waited 15 minutes, the drive thru should not be that long. He said they were a dining facility. I just stopped and said ok argue with the customer. If he does not care about the customers in the drive thru then close it down. 1 star for service. I just witnessed an older gentlemen confused about prices. I'm not even sure who was right or wrong m but they way it was handled was not professional. As the gentlemen asked questions about prices of his ticket, she aggressively showed him the screen and said "look I'm going to show you" another staff member chuckled and asked him if he had called the store before about it. When the guest said yes, the employee laughed and got another team member to joke about the situation. The gentlemen didn't seem upset just confused about the pricing and what was being rung up.
