Stopped by for lunch today. Chicken sandwich, burger, and onion rings all very good. The onion rings in particular were some of the best I've had in a while. We did have to ask the young lady working why she was wearing her mask on her chin. She sad it was hard to breathe. I know it's a pain, but it's rude to be waiting on masked customers with yours on your chin. One sided respect. The pandemic is serious, made more so by people who won't take it seriously. I give these guys a 10 out of 5 stars!! Hands down the BEST DQ I have ever been to! We were visiting the area and got to the drive thru about 5 minutes to closing Time. The employees still on shift had amazing customer service skills and were doing an amazing job at getting items ready to go out and had constant smiles and great banter with their customers! This was the first DQ I have been to that served food that looked just like it does on the menu, if not better. To top off our visit, these folks still butter their toast! We will be stopping here every time we visit Reedsport. read more

I visited this location on Friday April 2nd around 1:45 PM. I pulled up to the drive through and ordered 3 small milkshakes, there were 2 cars ahead of me and nobody behind me, so I pulled up behind the two cars at the window and pulled my wallet out of my purse to get my cash out and ready for payment. The two cars ahead of me pulled through quickly while I was counting out my cash, and while I'm doing that a lady hangs out the drive through window to yell at me to pull up. She was really rude about it. So I pulled up to the window and hand her my cash, "Jesus Christ!" she exclaimed in a very rude tone. I gave her exact change which I guess upset her. I asked her why such a reaction to my payment and she just said it's been one of those days. Well, maybe counting cash isn't her strong suit, but it wasn't very much for her to count. And it certainly wasn't a reason for her to be so rude. If I hadn't had my two nephews in the car I would have just told her to take her milkshakes and shove them, but I don't like to act like that in front of young children, so I just took her bullshit and continued on with my day. I didn't get her name but I remember her having dyed black hair and a limp perm. Maybe the drive through isn't the best position for her, maybe keep her in the back away from paying customers. Worst meal ever! My husband recommended we eat our dinner meal at Dairy Queen tonight, an easy dinner we thought in a hectic schedule. He said he ate lunch at Dairy Queen in Sutherlin, Oregon 2 days before and it was really good. We ordered Alaskan Codfish sandwiches tonight. On my sandwich I had literally 3 pieces of rusted lettuce and the buns on both sandwiches looked like they were pulled out of the garage can. It's very disappointing that our community seems to struggle with having a Dairy Queen that has good food, a clean restaurant and excellent customer service. read more

Since there arnt many places to stop in this town my family and I like to stop for a quick lunch or an ice cream after softball but after my last visit we will not be returning. I stopped yesterday to grab some lunch and was at the drive thru window paying a woman with longer curly dark hair with a red tint and I asked to use my husband's credit since they messed up his order last time. The lady took my money and then became extremely rude and angry that she had already cashed me out when I asked to use it before I even handed her my money. She then said that's f***** awesome and then slammed the window shut. A couple minutes later she returns to the window and practically threw my food in my hands. I apologized about the confusion and said I didn't mean to piss her off, that's why I asked before she cashed me out and she argued with me and told me to have a great f****** day. Simply the second-worst service I have had. Twice. Today's experience cemented my resolution to never return. Simple order - two 5-buck chicken strip lunches, one with pineapple Sunday, the other hot fudge. 15 minutes. FIFTEEN MINUTES to cook the smallest chicken strips and paltry group of fries that I have ever seen. Chicken strips were two fries wide. All of them. It took fifteen minute to prep that and offer me one strawberry sunday and one not-so-hot "fudge" sunday. This is the second such experience here. Went to this DQ for some ice cream. They were out of Chocolate Ice Cream and didn't plan to have any for 2 weeks which was strange. The staff was very nice and kind but the disappointment was that all of our Blizzards were half melted. The staff definitely did not do flip the Blizzards or they would have spilled on to the table. After going to this place multiple times, I have learned that the reason that the napkins and condiments are not on the tables is because there are stingy people who come in and steal bags full of their napkins and condiments to take home. This stuff costs them money! And when you go into any place that is considered "Fast Food" You should be smart enough to remember to pay attention to what you order and listen for when your item is called. Your SUNDAE that sat on the counter for 5 minutes, well maybe you should have asked for it to be made when you were ready for it, or maybe you should have been smart enough to LISTEN FOR YOUR FOOD TO BE CALLED SO IT DOESNT SIT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to. The service is so slow, unimaginably slow. The employees regularly have loud and unprofessional conversations that echo through the building. I can see their poor time management skills, always something wrong with the food. Way over cooked burgers and questionable food safety practices. Ordered $5 buck lunch deal and the Sunday that comes with it sat on the counter melting for over 5 minutes while the rest of the food was being made. First of all when i ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and wanted a regular hamburger bun as i hate pretzel buns which it came on, the guy who was behind the counter asked this gal who appeared to be a manager if they could do that they seemed to show a bit of being mentally challenged as they had a long discussion on it and decided to that the guy could put the pork on the pretzel bun and then transfer it to a hamburger bun.. had to roll my eyes like really so my friend and i ordered both a blizzard him a brownie one me a mint oreo my sandwich the pulled pork looked more like someone chewed it and spit it out it was grey in color slightly and ice cold i opened it up and its like where is the bbq maybe a fourth of a teaspoon meat was so dry not sure if the guy did it on purpose as to not make it so sloppy as the gal said it was going to be or what. then the chocolate brownie blizzard my friend had was sickening bad. he said the brownie was as old as he was i tasted it and about three up it was so horribly bad no chocolate taste at all just one fake chocolate old uky flavor we threw it out my mint Oreo blizzard was pathetic it had no mint flavor just was green with one oreo not chunked up enough no oreo crumbs through out the blizzard we are banning this dairy queen oh yeah had in how dirty it looked as well. and don't bother ever reporting it to dairy queen they make you feel its your fault and do not hold their franchises accountable read more
