I knew where I mean, built less than perhaps 30 years ago, as opposed to the other one which has to be around for perhaps 50 years. Like the other one there were often long lines. They need to train their employees much better, seems more places have them working at these type of places and they don't interview well enough. If I was manager I would make sure who I hired actually wants a job here. Someone makes the Peanut Buster Parfait wrong and the girl had to make it again for me. Because some people are allergic to Pecans and some just hate them. Pecans don't go in a Peanut Buster Parfait and so I had to throw out that one and they needed to use more ice cream to make me another one that is going to cost this company and makes the customer feel like a complainer. It was so tasty and it was like a blast into my childhood in a cone. The place was super busy and I can't say the customer service was anything above and beyond but honestly it was so busy I don't blame them. They are super fast in my opinion. Would come back for that one item on the menu because many places carry shakes or something like it and you can find an ice cream cake in most places theses days but chocolate dipped cones I only ever see now maybe at the fair if your lucky. Don't know what is going on today but the girls working today had attitude. I had asked for a chocolate chip cake from them, and with attitude they told me they only had cookie dough, mint, or cookie and cream. I was alike ok. I said I would take the cookies and cream one, which they said they had and retrieved from the back freezer. They showed it to me and I agreed to buy it. It looked decent. Due to the attitude, I decided to only give them a $1 tip. I guess they didn't like that because some where from the time they showed the cake to me to the point I got it, the one they handed me appears to have been melted (left outside for a bit). When asked to have a new one, due to the condition of the one handed to me, they told me there wasn't any more. When I cut it up into slices, not only were there no brownie pieces, there was only two layers of ice cream and a little bit of a crunchy layer. When threatened with a review on Yelp they offered a full refund on my credit card. They usually try to sell customers coupon books and/or ask you to donate for some charity but I'm poor and a charity case myself so I just tell them no and it makes me feel a little guilty but then I eat my ice cream and everything is okay again.
