Rudest service I'll ever had, and that says a lot. These days customer service is dead, and this establishment is a prime example of it. The manager is rude and disrespectful to both her employees as well as customers. The order I purchased was "unavailable." After waiting 15 minutes for my blizzard, and I was told they were out of the condiment for the blizzard. I was not offered a refund, only a "replacement" of a different item which I did not want. When I argued that I did not want that, the manager refused a refund and said I got what I paid for and to get out of her store. This is first time I've asked for a refund, or credit to come back. However, it's certainly not the first time they've gotten my order wrong. Shocking experience to say the least. Won't be back, ever. read more

I like Dairy Queen, but this branch is the worst. Dine in took 20 min. for a simple combo meal ... while a dozen drive through orders came and went. Yet, when my order is ready... it's cold. And they forgot the fries. Watched as they did the exact same thing to the couple that came in after me. Why did I come back to this place? The guy working the counter had zero knowledge of the what is on the menu. I got to be honest though, the 2 cooks and the dude running the drive through window are rock stars. The guy at the counter is just not cut out for this type of work. read more

It's the worst DQ I have ever been to!! Our ice cream sat on the counter till it was melted. On top it wasn't even made correctly when we had to walk around the counter to get it. Just left the Rockwall DQ. Went through drive thru to order 3 steak finger baskets. Was informed they were out of gravy but making fresh. Said 10-15 min till it was ready. No big deal there were 2 cars in front of us. So no problem waiting for fresh gravy. Once we got to the window to pay we were again informed they were making fresh gravy. Great. About 5 more minutes and they come back to the window and ask if we could substitute a dipping sauce because their orders were starting to back up. Fine give me something different. Was ready to pay, get our food and leave. Then the guy working the window goes out to the person who's been waiting in front of us for what I assume is fresh gravy as well. Another few minutes, the guy at the window comes back and says they are out of toast. At this point we told them to cancel our order and left. Very poor experience and won't be going back. The manager Mike was the only person working when I drove in to the drive-through. He was the cashier, the waiter and the cook. He did a remarkable job doing all three and being very pleasant and as quick as he could be. The owner of this restaurant should be very proud in the way he handled himself.! read more

Customer service stinks ordered a belt buster they brought it out with one patty not two. Showed it to them at the time I had eaten 1/3 of it. Showed it to them only one patty they were trying to make up their mind so I returned to our table. In the back ground I heard he is still eating it. We went ahead and finished our meal. The issue was not resolved so the review. I realize there are young people out there not knowing what to do. Just left here and am very disappointed in the service. The girl taking our order lacks the common courtesy of a please/thank you or even a smile upon seeing her at the window. I ordered a mini cotton candy blizzard, mini Oreo and small hot fudge sundae. The later two items had an abundance of fudge or Oreo and I'm guessing they were over compensating for the lack of flavor in the former: cotton candy. I'm not one to write a negative review on a first offense...I do feel like I've given the Rockwall DQ too many chances to make it right - pun intended! read more

Step into a appearing not busy DQ. Do not get greeted, maybe I'm spoiled from Chic-fil-a. Wait and wait before someone steps over and takes my order, he apologized for the wait but a greeting at 1st arrival would have lowered my perceived wait time. Wait for my food and now recalling that I have waited less at my most recent venture to Olive Garden. Apparently the fries have changed some my last visit, fat instead of thin fries, good for dipping in Ice cream but not eating with burgers. Last is the food is decent but I couldn't get past the sad excuse for toast this visit, limp and really just bread that seems to have gained its toast like texture from being left out. Another disappointing trip to the new dairy queen. We have been there 5 times now and each visit is the same. Snicker blizzard has chocolate syrup and almost no snickers. The chocolate extreme is almost white and can't tell the difference from the sick blizzard. Tonight we ordered an small orange Julius, sockets blizzard and chocolate extreme. Our blizzards were made and sat on the shelf for 10 minutes and then the kids stopped talking to their friends and told us, "we are just waiting on you orange julius" . So we are going back to driving to beltline so we can get a real dairy queen dessert. read more

2016 Yelp 100 Challenge Review #8 We got a Texas stop sign y'all!!!! What can I say. You know about the DQ! My fav, of course, is the classic Oreo blizzard, followed by the just as classic chocolate dipped cone. I used to be a fan of the Oreo Earthquake sundae but it had been retired. I probably should try more of the dessert menu but why mess with a tried and true good thing. As far as food, I used to love their chicken finger baskets though now every so often I will indulge in their Texas tacos. I usually have a pretty good experience at DQ no matter where it is and this location is no exception. There customer service is impeccable. Good job and keep up the great work! L read more

Very poor service. No one seemed to know what they were doing or had a sense of customer service urgency. Food took 15-20 min to come out and also sat under the heat lamp for awhile. Fries were half filled and soggy. Confirmed the food order twice with the guy at the register and he still put it in wrong at the end. The worst service ever, when I ordered a blizzard and told her no chocolate syrup. When she handed it to me and I told her I ordered it with no chocolate syrup she said no I can't take it back. Then slammed the window. I just honked until the manager came to the window and told him what happened, he was very polite and threw the blizzard away and made another one. Incredibly rude order taker and when I asked for ranch she snapped at me for the extra charge, I didn't realize this so I offered my card. She snatched it and rolled her eyes and then rang me up. Just because someone doesn't realize something doesn't call for such a bad attitude. Tried the place shortly after opening. The burger was cold and the meat must have been cooked early that morning. Sent it back and not much better. Tried again about 4 months later with chicken salad. It was awful. All veggies and lettuce was soggy and ranch dressing horrible. They need to take some lessons from Chick Filet on salad making and recipes. Not going back to Rockwall location. Never had this problem at any other stores. read more

I was in the drive through and placed my order. When I got to the window (this is right in the middle of the Covid virus so everyone is being careful or so I thought) I could see the worker who was at the window sneeze and wiped her hand on her mouth with a glove on! I am not kidding! She went to hand me my drink and food and I left. I then called the Manager from the parking lot and he sounded like a kid himself. He just said he would tell her to go home!!
