I got my traditional small vanilla cone with rainbow sprinkles and it was HUGE! For $4.75, it wasn't bad but the cone tasted stale and the sprinkles were so hard I thought I was gonna break a tooth. JC (and by that, I mean 'Jesus Christ' and not Jersey City), I'm laughing my ass off over the guy's review about flipping the Blizzard upside down over his kid's head and all of the ice cream falling out... I can't even think straight; I'm laughing so hard; I think I just wet my Jockey's. (post composure) Ok. Serious face. This past summer, I ate ice cream once a day religiously. Like, I would plan my day around what type of ice cream I wanted. This Dairy Queen has pocketed at least-AT LEAST a thousand bucks from me this summer. It got so bad that I didn't even have to explain the details of my order; depending who was on shift, they already knew it. No lie, I put on 10 pounds this summer because of this ice cream dream slinging establishment. So, I'm driving the other day- real pissed off. I think to myself 'why not cool down with a sundae? I mean, DQ should be closing for the season soon, so why not get that last fix in before you take going to the gym seriously again'? And then I answered myself and was all like 'sounds like a logical plan to me...' as I glided into their parking lot. I order my sundae and try to be nice, knowing that the servers would be out of a job, come end of the season. Making small talk, I say "so... when do you guys close"? The girl goes "10:30". And I go "Oh, no no, I mean, like for the season. When do you close"? And this is when my world came to a stop and my 'post summer snap back' dreams were crushed. Do you know what this broad said?! Get ready for this shit... "Oh, we don't close. We're open year-round." I sat in my vehicle for the next ten minutes while I devoured my sundae, pondering of ways that I could get myself banned from this joint. I love Dairy Queen but it would be nice if the staff was trained in making ice cream sodas, I'm not talking about an ice cream float - two totally different things. Here's a lil tutorial: chocolate ice cream soda is made by using 6 ounces of seltzer water, about 2 ounces of milk, 3 pumps of chocolate syrup and topped off with chocolate soft serve ice cream. Oh yeah, I remember going here almost twice a week with my dad when I was a kid in 5th grade. The neighborhood isnt as safe as it used to be back then and its even worse now. But I didnt think about that when I was a boy. All I cared about was getting that ice cream sundae inside a NY YANKEE cap, and collecting the different baseball caps that it comes with each time you buy one. From what I remember, the people was always nice. The place like I said earlier doesnt look as safe as before. Just try to go there during the day where theres a lot of people walking around. Try a Blizzard! ..which is soft-serve ice cream whipped up with some of your favorite goodies, like Snicker's, Reese's, Oreo's and others... or... you can have stuff like pineapple, coconut and bananas to make a "tropical" Blizzard! How 'bout cherries and some of that chocolate that they dip cones in... for a "chocolate-covered-cherries" Blizzard. On a hot summers day nothing feels better than a nice Ice Cream cone. Me and my friend Kurt both live in NYC but will make the trip out to Jersey city a couple times a day for their delicious ice cream. It is a simple uber ride (prob cost 30$ each way). The one thing that really upsets me is the lack of ice cream shops in Manhattan. Kurt loves ice cream more than i do though, probably because Kurt is from Arizona. I love their soft serve chocolate and vanilla twist the best, although I always ask to get it without chocolate because i am allergic. Kurt usually just gets a bowl of sprinkles because he is lactose intolerant. Kurt always suggest to the manager of the Dairy Queen to add soft shell crab to the menu, he thinks it would really increase sales (Kurt loves business). read more

I was just trying to get a good blizzard in my life and I went to your establishment and ordered an M&M blizzard!!!!! I was so excited after returning from vacation in the OBX.....:......just wanted a simple blizzard and they messed it up BIG TIME!!! I told my son so much about how you turn a blizzard upside down and how it doesn't spill out and he did not believe me! I was suspicious because the worker did not flip it over in store.....but I had faith in DQ!! Took the blizzard outside to my son and flipped it over his head and it spilled all over him!!!! I was astonished at how unreliable this was. The salesmen are so friendly and go out of their way to help you find the appropriate tree for the size space you have in your home. The trees are very reasonably priced as are the blankets and wreaths! The Christmas music is an added touch to truly get you in the spirit of Christmas as you are shopping for your Christmas needs! this is the only place where you can walk around and pick the type, size and price of tree. Trees are stood up so that the trees look the way they are supposed to look. The sales person is willing to walk and talk to you and explain the difference between which tree is best for me and my family. At the end, my family and i chose a beatiful frazier fir tree. The tree was wrapped up and cut and to my surprise,they did not charge me extra for this service. The price you see is what you pay.
