Pumpkin Patch Shake, 'Shroom Burger, SmokeShack and Bacon Cheese Fries
    Li W.

Super solid Shake Shack, as a chain should be imo! I got a Pumpkin Patch Shake, which was all my pumpkin spice dreams coming true. Spice-y, sweet with a tad bit of saltiness to it. We also got Bacon Cheese Fries to share, and I got a 'Shroom Burger. The 'Shroom burger was a bit wet/moist, but it wasn't uncooked or anything, and it tasted delicious. Just a bit weird. Restroom was very clean, which I appreciate since I have to brush my teeth after meals for Invisalign! It's the worst when bathrooms smell or the sink has water spilled everywhere. The space under fully enclosed awning in the back with natural light is super spacious and nice. A big group of us hung out there, and it was splendid.

Visiting the shake shack after a gap of 4+ years. Last time I remember visiting it in 2019 at their 33rd/34th St location. Thankfully this time I tried out the hamburger instead of sides. I ordered a shack burger, crinkle cut fries topped with cheese and frozen hot cocoa shake. The shack burger was good especially the potato bun which was really soft with the right amount of butter applied while toasting it. The patty was cooked to perfection and now I understand why people consider this chain as the best one in the town! Fries weren't that good, they lacked the crisp and were a bit on the salty side but the portion size was good. Frozen hot chocolate shake was really delicious and I felt this was probably the best shake I have had in a while! The shake was topped with marshmallows and it felt really delicious. Overall a good experience, the ambiance of the place is great and the service is quick too!

Solid. What's with all these terrible reviews on here based specifically on delivery? What do you expect? It's upscale pricey fast food- get your butt over there and grab it yourself! Besides, it should be eaten within minutes of being made. Anyways I stopped by a Saturday late afternoon and was pretty impressed as it happens to be a beautiful location with a great seating area in the back and tables in front outside as well. Most of the locations in nyc are so packed. This was actually enjoyable. I ordered a double cheese burger wrapped in lettuce, with fries (cheese on the side), and a 1/2 & 1/2! You order on a kiosk and they text you when order is ready. So easy. Staff was friendly and the space was kept very clean- they were constantly cleaning tables as people got up. Would recommend!

If you like Shake Shack, this new location works. Interesting layout, with the computer stations and ordering up front, then table seating in the back under a glass atrium for a unique indoor/outdoor kind of feel. I went twice, and the burger, fries, drink were very good and on par with my expectations. Excellent service. There is space for some seating on Washington Street for better weather days. Tables/seating might be tight during prime time hours.

SOLID choice when you're in the mood for some elevated fast food! Portions are right on the money and burgers always come flying fresh hot off the grill on a potato bun. We loved the Truffle (Regalis) partnership Shake Shack had going on months ago. We saw the ad for the limited time Buffalo chicken Sammy and snagged it along with a free side of fries(SCORE!) This just so happened to be part of a limited time Doordash promo. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was amazing. Perfect texture, great breast meat quality and a nice southern splash of some cool ranch on top. 10/10 shake burger double was 10/10- get that shake shack sauce on the side. We decided to do halfzies as a couple which left me with nice 60/40 splits. I can't decide if I enjoyed my 60% serving of Buffalo chicken or my 60% serving of shack burger. Either way, both were a 10/10. 2 orders of fries cuz no one shares cringe cut, ya know. Own it! 1 chocolate shake we split as dessert. Ok, maybe 75/25, as in i consumed most of the shake. My partner was still left plenty satisfied with the serving, but I totally devoured it and played it off like the portion was smaller or something. Overall, a really amazing cheat meal for 2 people. A really great spot!

Typical Shake Shack. It was a really quiet night, however I ordered on their app anyway because I had a promo code. Burgers were great, so was the cookies and creme milkshake! Fries were not as well done as i would have liked, but they were still enjoyable. Great place to hang out because they have a huge dining room. However, they do not offer WIFI in the restaurant which is kind of disappointing. They also have 4 big TVs in the space, which they did not turn on.

Truffle fries without the sauce because they forgot it, truffle burger and shack burger

Finally tried this Hoboken location one Wednesday afternoon. We ordered for pickup via the app, and the estimated wait time was pretty accurate, more or less. We did the BOGO single shack deal for the holidays, the truffle burger, and truffle fries since the truffle items were a limited time offer. The truffle burger had a nice flavor and actually tasted like real truffle and not fruffle (the fake truffle taste you find in some Trader Joe's items). But I think I still prefer a regular shack burger. There was just too much going on in the truffle burger. My husband and I split this and I'm glad we did because I think it would have been too heavy for me to eat by myself. For the truffle fries, these were just parmesan fries and I believe they were supposed to come with a truffle dip - at least that's what I've seen in the ads. I didn't realize it was missing until we got home and I wasn't about to walk all the way back there, so that was probably my only gripe. I'm glad this location opened up so that I can now satisfy my Shake Shack cravings without driving anywhere or going out to the city. I'm actually surprised I've only been here once so far!

First time here. I feel like I'm cheating on the city shake shack - let's see if I would love it here

My First time at this spot. I feel like I'm cheating on my 54th street manhattan shake shack location with this one . This was very open and big. Nicely decorated. It seems new and the workers were very attentive and friendly. I recommend this place to all you shakers and shackers. Hahaha, that came out wrong.

    Burger and chick
    Jon B.

Finally made it to Shake Shack for my burger experience . Ordered a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich to go . Well organized take out process with all of the protocol . So now the verdict . The burger and chick are OK but certainly nothing to write home about . There are many other burger options which are better without question . I might suggest it is on the same level as BK and M .

In my quest to explore the various cuisine scenes throughout Jersey City and specifically the Heights, I made my way to Fox And Crow. Like Corkscrew Bar, I've had this on my bookmark list since I started visiting my friend a few years ago when she moved out here. I always loved a neighborhood bar (sports in this case) that also served food (and live entertainment, too!) so I could hang out with the local people. Would I have anything to crow about, or would I be as sly as a fox and just sneak on by!? PURCHASE Brunch Spicy Bloody Mary ($8.00): I wasn't a huge bloody mary fan (I was traumatized by V8 tomato juice growing up), but it just sounded good on this particular day. It was a fairly simple straightforward cocktail that lacked the elaborate bells and whistles that could be found on Instagram... and I was fine with that. The spiciness nicely cut some of the tomato juice taste which was a plus, the celery stalk was lip, I wished thee wee oe olives, the lemon wedge seemed to serve no purpose, and I felt there was too much ice. It was decent, but I think I filled my quota for the year. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=YAXNZzbwBxhsZXoH9n98SA [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 3.0 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($7.00): A small basket with eight rings of various sizes, these were hot, darkly browned, crunchy, and had a tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (not sweet Maui) also broke apart. They were on the oily side, the ketchup helped a bit, and were decent at best. These reminded me of the ones I bought when I played Little League, so a bump for nostalgia. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=ZtV4C6Dp1NmjRMiz0J2fTQ Kane Brewing Co. Head High American IPA Beer 16floz Draft ($8.00): Bright hazy amber color, citrusy hoppy aroma, low body, citrusy hoppy flavor, smooth finish, and citrusy hoppy aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=k_Q3KQCdsM349f7aDHU7EA FXC Brunch Burger w/Fries ($16.00): Made with a juice angus beef patty, thick-cut bacon slices, monterey jack cheese and a sunny-side up egg served between a toasted brioche bun, this was a two-handed mess as gooey yolk squirted out and dripped down your lip and chin. The side of crispy dark brown fries were nicely seasoned. I was done after this monstrosity. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=VTHNI0LbZCHveZBwk9FwmQ SERVICE I arrived an hour before their weekend brunch ended. I was quickly greeted by a friendly gentleman behind the bar and was immediately met by a nice woman with menus who allowed me to sit wherever. I easily placed my order as everything arrived perfectly spaced out. My server cleared away any empties, and I never felt rushed to leave once I paid. All was good - thanks! PARKING (Street; N/A this instance) This was an easy flat 20-minute walk from my friend's place. Otherwise, there appeared to be plenty of spots along the main drag of Palisade Ave. and all surrounding roads - 'nu said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A tidy interior layout with plenty of stools lining the long bar, a mix of stools at a center counter bar, a smattering of chairs/tables, and some lodge-like odds and ends displayed throughout. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=E3zSVvIdQqbZ61sTwwMnLA There was also a tiny sideway patio area. Decent natural lighting came through the front windows and doors while eclectic hung electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were a few TVs at the bar while music (and TV volume) played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=GiF86KQbCwXDGx40HMBBxQ ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Fox And Crow was a chilled neighborhood spot and would definitely return! It was laid back with some local beers on tap, happy hour, a tight brunch https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=VTvd9VP9ZsuPb7oX79EruQ menu, tasty food, reasonable prices, daily live entertainment, and the service was wonderful. And, I always loved supporting small businesses whenever possible. I found total value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... Great choice! I didn't get much of the jalapeño in the first bite, and could agree that the jalapeños and its accompanying sauce could be spread out a bit more, but i finally got a bite of the jalapeños towards the center and it was delicious. My bf loves their loaded fries, but i'm content with their bare fries. 7th Street's regular fries have a consistent and familiar crispy to them that i'll always enjoy. i'm not a big burger person, but they've managed to perfect the ultimate greasy burger. the new app was fairly easy to use, and streamlined the ordering process, making it efficient and easy for all. no more awkward blank stares or pauses at the menu when making your order with the cashier haha. it may not be part of their plan, but i would love to see a deluxe option in the near future, consisting of lettuce, tomatoes, and etc.

Expansion can water things down. Quality can slip. Legends can fade. Not here. I hit the Hoboken, New Jersey location and let me tell you something -- a true smash burger is rare. Everyone thinks they're doing it. Few actually are. There's a difference between a thin burger... and a properly smashed, lacy-edged, griddle-seared masterpiece. The menu? Almost aggressively simple. Single or double. Fries or no fries. That's it. And when the product is this good, why complicate it? Everything cooked to order. The patty smashed paper-thin, developing that deep, crispy crust while somehow -- almost disrespectfully -- staying juicy inside. That contrast is the entire point of a smash burger, and they nail it. This isn't just a burger pressed flat. This is technique. And the fries? Piping hot. Golden. The kind you grab immediately and burn your fingertips because waiting is not an option. But here's the part that made it hit differently: introducing my son to his first real smash burger. There's something about watching that first bite -- that moment when he realizes burgers don't have to be thick and overworked to be great. His standards just changed forever. There's no going back now. That also means I'm in trouble...because there isn't a decent smash burger anywhere close to where we live :-/ Some places chase trends. Some places perfect one thing and dare you to question it. 7th Street Burger keeps it simple -- and absolutely nails it.

Even 20-plus years ago, when I'd occasionally become nostalgic for a fast-food burger and order one, I invariably regretted it. But I did order from 30 Burgers a few days ago while working in Hoboken, when a co-worker (the new Godfather of Lunch) suggested ordering food and having it delivered. Usually, I would have said no. But I was suffering a migraine that particular day, the medication I take for it was having an adverse effect on me (as it sometimes will; it stops headache pain but makes me feel overall like shite) and I thought food might help settle my nausea and upset stomach. Even the erstwhile Godfather of Lunch joined us in ordering (like me, he's on a diet and it's proving effective), saying, "You people are forcing me to do this," or words to that effect. Nothing like peer pressure! I ordered the Turkey Royal Burger, which sounded simultaneously healthy and decadent. A turkey burger with a fried egg on it (it has been so long since I've indulged in eggs that I think that's what decided me on this), turkey bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. Along with it, I ordered a side of seasoned fries, and what initially started as a medium vanilla milkshake (I try to allow myself ice cream or an ice cream-based product only once a month). The former Godfather said, "You've come this far; you might as well go all the way." I wanted to reply, "You're forcing me to do this," as I agreed and signaled the new Godfather to place an order for the large vanilla milkshake, along with the other stuff I wanted. The food arrived pretty promptly, and the price seemed...at least to someone unused to ordering fast food...relatively reasonable. I can't remember what my co-workers ordered, but I was sorta "meh" about the whole experience. The burger was probably the best part of it. It was a large, sloppy mess, but that was satisfying to the latent glutton that I can never entirely exorcise from my psyche. And I have to say that the turkey bacon actually did taste like bacon. The fries were less satisfying, less tasty. Maybe it would have made a difference if we had actually sat down in the restaurant and ate them while they were still hot, but...despite the promptness of the delivery...they were, at best, semi-warm, and pretty tasteless. There were plenty of them, and I ended up disposing of a goodly portion (I don't like throwing away food, but I wasn't going to take them home, and I figured better they wind up in the garbage can than on my waistline or in my arteries). And the milkshake? Another co-worker ordered a medium sized milkshake and my "large" had perhaps only a half inch more of space involved in it. Which meant it probably wouldn't have made much of a difference if I had ordered a medium or a large. It was sweet, and thoroughly drinkable (if not especially tasty), but I regretted that I had used my monthly allotment of ice cream (or milkshake) for this. Oh well...chalk it up to experience! Final verdict? Not great, not bad. They have a lot of variety when it comes to burgers, and if you're into the "fast food" version, this place might rate high on your list. But, speaking purely for myself, if I do get a hankering for a cheeseburger and fries (and it does happen occasionally), I think I'll just stop at a diner or even a regular restaurant in order to indulge that urge. As far as I'm concerned, 30 Burgers is just ok.

On a Saturday evening there was quite a long wait for the patio but the 3 picnic tables outside were free and clear...perfect! Delicious food Great cocktails Kindest staff that brought water out for our pup All good things. We got the apple guac to start and loved that it was like a sweeter, chuckier guacamole. It was served with plantain chips and great for a hotter night app. For my main, I got the Grain Bowl. So good, so filling and I had plenty left over for lunch the next day. It had quinoa, tofu, chickpeas, yams, and a green goddess dressing. This will officially be added to the rotation of lunch/dinner spot. Cannot wait to come back.

The sides were Caesar salad and fries. It was delicious, the server was quick and attentive making sure we were happy with our meal. The presentation of the food was superb it was a nice stop and I am sure I'll be back at some point. Seemed to be a nice dive bar in the heights not many places like this in the area.
