Ordered: NYC Cheesecake (~$5) The New Classic (~$5) Aya's take: I was in the area running errands and swung by to pick up some dessert. I placed my order online and when I arrived, they asked me if I wanted them heated up, so I waited a few minutes for my order to be ready. I've had their cookies a handful of times before so I definitely thought I was in for a treat. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan this time around. The New Classic had a strange aftertaste (almost almondy or artificially sweetened) but I did like the chocolate chunks in each bite. The NYC Cheesecake was super undercooked. There is cheesecake inside but between that and the raw batter, it was hard to really enjoy it. I appreciate that they have many options to choose from but these were both misses for me. read more

Once in a while when I have a sweet tooth craving or want to pick up sweets for a special occasion, I place an order from The Cookie Connect! The cookies are huge, they have a nice range of flavors, and they're delicious. They aren't like Crumbl Cookies (the flavors pretty much stay the same) but the quality is just as good. Our go-to favorites are Cinnamon Roll, Stuffed Peanut Butter Cup, and Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip, but you can't go wrong with any flavor! read more

Since I was in the area, I HAD to order from The Cookie Connect. The last time I ordered from there was years ago at their other location in Bloomfield. I ordered for pickup and found a spot right in front (shocker)! I love how cute this shop is; from the neon sign to the seating and wallpaper. Of course I had to take a picture of my cookies in front of the sign before leaving. I ordered their limited edition cookie which was the Apple Cider Donut Stuffed Snickerdoodle... AMAZING! I also ordered a box of four to share with my sister: - Cookies n Cream - Apple Pie - NYC Cheesecake - The "New" Classic My favorite out of the four was the NYC cheesecake and cookies n cream. Try: Nutella, Cheesecake, and The New Classic! Why: It's not often you can find a Nutella cookie chocolate chip cookie and this was my favorite! I also liked the NYC Cheesecake with cream cheese filling and raspberry drizzle. Lastly, I liked The New Classic because of the semi-sweet chocolate chips, European chocolate chunks, and sea salt! Notes: The Apple Pie was my least favorite as it did not remind me of apple pie flavors. I love their unique menu and looks like they have new weekly flavors. I want to come back and try their cereal inspired cookies! Cute small shop with cool decor. One wall was painted and had a neat color projector. The other wall has a fun neon sign that says "Don't go baking my heart!" It's self checkout with two pads to order and they were quick to bring out the warm cookies! read more

I ordered a batch of cookies for delivery. All of them were delicious. Super soft and moist with satisfyingly crunchy edges. Each cookie is quite large. The stuffed nutter butter had a little less filling than I would've expected, but it was still tasty. My favorite was the birthday cake. Sometimes rainbow sprinkle cookies can have an artificial taste, but the vanilla flavoring came through in this one and it was great. This place is an excellent option for any occasion that needs a sweet treat! They have very cute packaging too. read more

Came in here at 12:40am(they close at 1) for a late night dessert and they still had everything available from their menu. Other cookie spots that I've been to only had a few or a couple items left when they're about to close, so I was pleased that I had all the choices. I got the box of 4 and ordered Cookies 'N' Cream, Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip, NYC Cheesecake, and The *NEW* Classic. Cut everything up to try each one of them... And they were all good! I was expecting them to be too sweet just because of the fillings and toppings, but they each had a good balance of everything. Really, really good cookies! I had their weekly flavor of Red Velvet with Banana Pudding inside and it was phenomenal. Their regular chocolate chip cookies with sea salt is also really good. We had one leftover after 3 days and it was still so soft and moist! Staff are super nice and I would definitely recommend. They're much thinner cookies than the other hot cookie spot in the area, Chip City, so if you're looking for something less large and chonky, this is the place for you. read more

Came here twice and has mixed impressions. The cookies are big and perhaps that's why it's slightly pricy. Once you placed the order, they will then assemble the cookies with the toppings you want. In terms of flavor, I like the nyc cheesecake, s'mores, salted caramel pretzel. I disliked the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Brownie Batter Stuffed which was the Limited Edition Cookie. It was too sweet and pricier. I gave 3 stars also cause of the hair found in one of the cookies during 2nd visit. We found about it after leaving the store so I contacted the customer service via email. However, they fixed it by refunding the entire order. read more

Okay, wow best cookies ever! I was driving by this place and had the window rolled down and smelled the cookies and HAD to check it out. I figured I would try one basic cookie and one crazy cookie. The small shop has a counter where you order on an iPad and someone bakes your cookies fresh and brings the box to you, such an efficient system. Both cookies are so chewy and soft, they're the perfect texture. I love that they were baked fresh (not sure if they do this all the time) but they were so warm. The flufatella s'mores cookie was delicious it was stuffed with Nutella and had a chocolate drizzle topped with marshmallow fluff; hence the name flufatella. The classic is a chocolate chip cookie, you can't go wrong with a delicious chocolate chip cookie. I must say the cookies are quite rich, especially the flufatella one, so if you don't like a lot of chocolate, go for something simpler! read more

Ahhh-mazing. My friend brought hot cookies over Saturday morning and I'm already planning my trip back. The base of each cookie was so chewy and delicious. Often times bakeries with these interesting toppings don't focus enough on the cookie. No problem here. The stuffing/ toppings are just an added bonus. I really do not understand all of the positive reviews for The Cookie Connect; their cookies are over-the-top, but not in a good way. We walked into the shop the other night, eager to sample their treats. We placed our order through a tablet, though we were unable to see the cookies prior to making our selections. However, afterwards, we saw our pre-made cookies being slathered with processed, packaged toppings in the back kitchen area, which was very unappealing. The S'mores Cookie started with a soft, chewy chocolate chip base, which would likely have been great on its own, but it was hard to know for sure, as it was then covered with chocolate sauce, marshmallow fluff, and graham cracker crumbs. The Birthday Cake Cookie had white chocolate chips baked into it and was then topped with rainbow sprinkles and an extremely sugary vanilla sauce. Both of the desserts were way too sweet, and we found it absurd that we were paying over $3.00 a cookie for pastry sundaes we could have made ourselves with a trip to the supermarket. read more

So happy there's another cookie spot in Hoboken and right by my apartment :). There were so many interesting cookies to choose from and I ordered the s'mores and the Oreo cookies. The cookies are a lot bigger than Insomnia Cookies and were stuffed with chocolate inside! These cookies are absolutely gorgeous! However I felt the flavor to be really lacking. The dough of the cookies don't have much taste and I'm guessing because they want the toppings to do the heavy lifting. But I don't feel like the toppings make up for it. The syrups used on top are store bought and you can taste the artificial flavoring. Price is pretty reasonable for the cost as they are on the larger side. read more

I probably was a little tough on them the first time. The cookies here do have a unique touch and hit the spot. The cookies and cream had an oreo in it and was delicious. The cheesecake one was delicious and literally had cheesecake filling in the middle. These cookies are more than just toppings. The peanut butter cookie is also one of my favorites. The ice cream tastes just like cereal milk. It was great & better than expected. Fine corn flakes were mixed into ice cream. Caramel syrup & corn flakes topped the ice cream. The cookies were good. Fun flavors & the drizzle is a unique concept. The cookies were not thick which was nice because all of the flavors were heavy & very sweet. Cookies & cream cookie was stuffed with an oreo & drizzled with a lot of chocolate sauce (too much drizzle I think). PB&J was stuffed with peanut butter & was drizzled with an overly sweet raspberry sauce (again, too much drizzle as it made the cookie way too rich & sweet). Cinnamon roll had Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top & a sweet drizzle. Birthday cake was my favorite. It was delicious & not overly sweet, especially compared to the other flavors. I've had Insomnia Cookies. I've had Bang Cookies. I've had Stack Creamery. I took one bite into this place's Apple Pie cookie and could tell The Cookie Connect was simply operating at a different level. Big, fresh, warm (even through Uber Eats), and so flavorful.
