Dairy Rich is within walking distance of my home and over the years I witnessed a run down little ice cream stand transformed into the successful casual eatery that it is today. I am very happy for the new owners that it is successful, and they did a great job of keeping the retro vibe but upgrading the quality of the food and desserts. Although not for calorie counters, when you have the urge to splurge the food is delicious. the burgers consist of quality beef cooked to your liking (they do medium rare-a hard find at a fast food joint) with creative toppings. The fries are fresh and hot (albeit a bit too salty and spicy....(I prefer naked fries so I can season them they way I wish.) The ice cream servings are generous and cream-delish. I do hope to sample the wedge salad one of these days as well as the kosher dogs. Bravo! read more

The owner is always friendly, sounds like he's from New York or something, and the family all seems to work here. Its located near some of my regular go to resteraunts, so I naturally end up here afterwards . All in all this place is a fun stop after dinner, and I seriously doubt any other place offers a malt this good after dinner. They do offer some flat top burgers and Chicago dogs, but I can'tcant. Hubby had found this little place and put in our "to try" list. Located on Alt 19 just as you come into Palm Harbor, it's the kind of place you wouldn't necessarily notice or just assume, "oh, an ice cream place" but after reading some really good reviews, we decided to go. Private parking lot with several spaces. Menu on a board out front of a walk up window. Several nice picnic tables. Menu was plentiful. We each ordered burgers: mushroom and Swiss, Cowboy burger and a Bleu cheese burger. Burgers were just over $7 each and fresh tasting. We opted to also try the sweet sweet potato fries which were sprinkled with spices, cinnamon and drizzled with a light marshmallow sauce ($3.25)- very yummy. Didn't really seem to go with burgers but they were tasty. They also had regular sweet potato fries. With drinks, our meals for 3 came in under $30. After we ate, we decided to try their ice cream. They have soft serve or hand dipped, milkshakes, sundaes and specialty sundaes. The guys chose the black cherry, the butter pecan and I ordered a small chocolate dipped cone. The portions were enormous! My small cone was more along the lines of a large... couldn't eat it all. The hand dipped ice cream was also generously served. Three scoops of hand dipped and my chocolate dipped soft serve was just under $10. Overall, very good experience! My thoughts are that this place is probably packed all summer long. Amazing place for lunch, dinner and dessert. I love their salads and the burgers are the bomb! Ice cream is high quality too. And they have malts!!! We love that it is outdoors as it makes social distancing easy. The owners have really made it awesome by serving quality food, loving their customers and constantly working to improve. First off, I don't understand how this restaurant only has six reviews. I've eaten burgers all over the world, and this is by far is the best burger I've ever tasted in my entire life. Not your typical burger joint. First you order at a window, and you sit down at a picnic table outside to eat. The place is hot pink, so it looks more like an ice cream parlor. Amazing fresh hand formed all natural burgers. Buns are lightly toasted and toppings are crisp. So many different burgers to choose from too. First of all, eating outside in Florida in August is not always a comfortable thing... They have big cooling fans blowing on you. We also went in the evening which was a better idea also. The food took a little while but hubby and I were on our date night and enjoying our beverages and conversation while waiting for our order. I had an American hot dog which too much relish on it, but easily scraped off. My husband had a mushroom Swiss burger which was delicious.
