Food is overrated, go for the waffle cone!! It's not a vacation without a swirl waffle cone from Dairyette!

The customer service was fabulous. We had Cherry Limeade and Strawberry lemonade and both were cold and refreshing. Don't forget to try the ice cream

Two of my favorite things the Dairyette and the American flag.

We drove over to Mount Ida to check out the crystal shops and found this cool little place. It said it's been there since 1958 a old fashion burger joint with all kinds of ice cream. Unfortunately we had just eaten or I would have gotten me a burger. So my wife and I got cones and our granddaughter got a hot fudge sundae. She usually orders extra hot fudge but you don't have to here there was more than enough. We bought some t shirts and will wear them proudly. It's worth the drive from Hot Springs and we will be going back.

Nice departing lunch after an incredible time at the incomparable Camp Ozark. Giant burgers and reasonably good shakes.

I don't have an RV. I just stopped because it looked like a cool little spot to rummage around in…read more There was a huge mix of items in the store and I spent about 30 minutes checking it out. Marilyn showed me the Airbnb rental in the back and I would definitely book that when on vacation in the area. I liked the little spot! Ended up with some good herbal teas and a big jar of creamed honey, YUM!

Like the other reviewer stated, the vitamin store is nice and the lady in the shop was pleasant…read more However we booked two campsites for six nights expecting everything listed in the ad for Marilyn's on the back of the Mt Ida 2020 Visitors Guide. It was a mistake booking our stay sight unseen which is why I am writing this review. Marilyn's RV Park is simply a graveled area behind the store where hookups have been installed in designated parking spots in order to allow people to park their RVs. Which is fine if you don't plan on leaving your camper, you are completely self suffficient, and you do not care about a view or the occasional noise of the airport which is very close. There is NO bathroom available - (Unisex or not, which probably meant there was only ONE to start with) as it is locked at all times, there are NO showers, there is NO WIFI, there is NO Cable TV. There is one coin operated washer that has a sign on it stating to only fill it half full, and one coin operated dryer. There is water and electric hook up as stated, but the water pressure is very low. There are no picnic tables or place to have a camp fire or to grill/cook out food at each parking spot. Luckily we brought our own grill. I did notice one picnic table behind the store but it was not convenient to use. There is no dumpster to throw full bags of trash into- rather a few old plastic domestic sized trash cans with pieces of wood used for lids behind the store. Last but not least, "Breathtaking Scenery" the last bullet point in the Marilyn's RV Park ad. To be honest we laughed about this off and on all of the 7 days and 6 nights we spent there because it did somewhat take our breath away! But, I suppose it did serve the purpose. We were just so very disappointed that we spend our vacation evenings parked in a grave lot behind a tourist store and not in a real campground. That is the reason for this review so others might know what they are actually reserving when they reserve a stay a Marilyn's RV Park.
