Crazy how much of everything they have available. A little bit of everything. Halloween decor, home decor, food, snacks, greeting cards, car cleaning and basic maintenance supplies, shower stuff, kitchen accessories, party accessories, etc. Store was really clean and surprisingly organized. 2nd visit here. I can't complain. I stopped in specifically looking for a small reusable bag that I could use to purchase a few produce grocery items next door at Grocery Outlet as well as check out their small paperback book section for more crosswords and word finds to keep my Mother-in-law occupied and happy. I was thrilled when I saw that their paperback book section was heavily and neatly stocked, so I was able to grab at least 8 large print crossword books and a couple of large print word finds. Sometimes those books are hard to come by. I then perused thru their greeting card and gift wrap section then headed to check out the end caps at the check out stands. I quickly was able to find a few reusable bags, and spotted a cute Stitch one, so I grabbed it and jumped into line. There was only one line open with 3 customers already in line, but I didn't mind the wait. No one was getting anything too crazy or buying balloons, so it went by pretty quick. I had a very unpleasant experience here while shopping with my two young children. We came in to buy some toys. My son picked up a small bouncing ball and bounced it lightly while deciding if he wanted it. An employee, Paloma, immediately told him multiple times not to play with it. He stopped and we continued shopping. When we got to the register, we had decided to put the ball back since my kids had chosen too many items. We were still buying about $30 worth of toys and art supplies. At that point Paloma began raising her voice, saying that we "played with it and now weren't buying it" and that it was "dirty and no one would buy it." She even told me I needed to teach my son manners, which was completely inappropriate. During checkout she ignored my younger son when he spoke to her, talked about us in Spanish to another employee, and placed the receipt on the counter without saying a word before walking away. I've shopped at this store many times, which made this experience especially disappointing. read more

This location continues to get better over the last few years. They weeded out the weird employees & now it is staffed with alot of efficient, nice, friendly people. I love Paloma & Staci. They are both very nice everytime I go in. Liv is also very sweet. I find myself stopping in much more often to shop around than in the past. Store is looking more organized & put together. It has been a while since I reviewed this location. So, yesterday I needed to pick up some items and yet again the shelves were still in need of a good cleaning. They just have too much, and could decrease the orders to get a handle on the shelves. One of the workers caught two young girls stealing, and I was told it happens often...every day. As a suggestion, corporate should install alarms to decrease the time commitment that the staff has to dedicate to watching the cameras, so they can be more productive and organize the floor. It would also be nice to have more than one register open, because it backs up so quickly with just one register open for check out. As for the items, they are okay but I do feel like when they first opened the items were better. Side note: the man that caught the two girls stealing could work on his people skills. He glared at me in a pretty aggressive way when I was checking out in a separate line. Maybe he is super stressed, but geesh he should appreciate the patrons paying for their goods and be kinder. read more

This store is literally the worst Dollar Store I've been to. My main issue with it is an employee who regularly uses foul language and also plays explicit rap music that's incredibly offensive to customers. When I asked if they could turn it off I was told by the cashier he didn't know how. When I asked for the manager I was told he was out of town. Then today in the art department every paint set was completely dried out and unusable. There store has ZERO pride in what they sell. They either don't pay attention or don't care. Either way- not a good look. I hope someone combs the shelves and removes all the unusable merchandise. read more

Have been here multiple times but just had to write a review today after witnessing great customer service! Popped in on my lunch break to grab something quickly and the gentleman Rolando working on the register was so friendly, polite, and well-mannered as he rang up customers. Turns out today is also his birthday, and while working on your birthday can sometimes be a bummer here he was doing it with a smile. So shoutout to Rolando for making customers' days by greeting them with warmth and a smile! Customer service experience aside this store is always clean. The only downside is recently they've raised prices across the board to $1.25 which makes sense given inflation...though I feel like Dollar Tree is a bit misleading as the company's name now! read more

Hello. I stopped in today for some birthday balloons and the cash register said "we are actually out of helium right now." To be honest, it's disappointing to me to drive to another location. I think the young lady doesn't know how to check helium levels. Get some helium then. Secondly, I purchased at $15 gift card here for my mom on Mother's Day and I paid for the card. Well, my mom went back in to buy stuff and the card didn't work and they accused us of not paying for the amount on the card. I think this is bull crap. This Dollar Tree is next to the Grocery Outlet and it used to be a Walgreens. I went here to see if what they lacked at the Foothill Ranch branch was available here since I was aware this retail space was significantly larger. However the space that it probably would have been in was stripped empty, so I just impulse purchased some stuff and left. The cashier sounded bored but they were at least not trying to show it. Very amazing store. Good costumer service from MOST employees. I say most because one of the cashiers named Daniela gave us the worst costumer service. She is soooo rude. Her gloves looked soo disgusting. They were overused and ripped. She should be more kind towards all her costumers. She comes too aggressive towards the costumers.
