The sales clerk was very helpful with pointing out the price of other items in the store as well - scarves, jewelry, bags - as everything was on special discount. I love the way they curate their selections. I found a couple of shirts in the men's section that I liked. Everything here is new or like new. And they often carry designer clothing. I had a great experience shopping in this store and I'll be back in the future!

Extremely Unprofessional…read more I walked into Uptown Cheapskate and within one minute of entering, some random lady suddenly yelled across the store: "Everyone get out, we fucking close in 5 minutes." At first we assumed she was an employee because of how aggressively she said it. When we realized she wasn't, we called her out on it. Her response? "Yeah, I'm kind of crazy." What made the situation worse was that the actual employees said nothing about her behavior. No one corrected her, asked her to stop, or even acknowledged how inappropriate it was. On top of that, no staff member informed us when we walked in that the store was closing in 5 minutes even though it was over a hour before the website said they closed, which would have avoided the entire situation. Overall it felt chaotic, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. Customers shouldn't be yelled at by random people in the store while staff just stand there and do nothing. Definitely not a great first impression.

I was lucky to learn about him from my racquetball partner Rich who is a local at the LA Fitness 3 miles away. Racquetball restringing is a very unique and personalized process, with many factors such as the weight of the racquet, type of strings, whether you hit the ball at 143.5 mph or just dink and place it and tension desired. He examined my two new racquets and recommended a specific string based on my style of play and stroke. He did a fantastic job. Not only that, I just picked up the racquets less than 24 hours after I dropped them off. WOW! I love the $30 restringing price per racquet plus $10 for a new grip. This lovely one stop shop store features bags, shoes & racquets ( tennis) and is open from 10-5 Monday to Saturday. I am ready for the World Indoor Racquetball Championship in Denver September 4-7,2025. Thank you so much Tyler. I could not be happier.

The El Toro location is always clean, bright and well stocked. I like coming to this Daiso because parking is easy and the store is really big and the staff is always friendly and helpful. For this visit, I did have a list of items I was interested in and was able to find such as, squeeze bottle for condiments, small mesh strainer, tempura paper liner and tongs. What I bought on impulse was the robe indoor house slippers, bear squeaky dog toy, card holder and a koi fish reusable bag. Their dog toys are perfect for my Pancake. She's obsessed with the bear since it squeaks and has soft limbs for her to chew on. They surprisingly hold up well with light play/chew, but most of the dog toys in our home are from Daiso. The only thing I couldn't find was the oil absorbing pads for used cooking oils. After frying, I used to throw a couple of those pads into a pan and it would soak up any remaining oil to toss in the trash. Was really useful to keep on hand, but I haven't found it in awhile. Besides that, I'm always happy to visit a Daiso and will be back soon.

The store was a bit overpriced for items that were used. Most of the jewelry was marked up 75% of what it was worth. I doubt I will be going back due to the uncomfortable feeling of the store. If you want to attract customers I would suggest more engaging employees. Also, not a great selection of items and very outdated.
