I went in this evening to self check out. With a few items. One item came out to 25.97 (or something) and I couldn't tell what it was. I pressed the button for assistance and the African lady standing and pointing to open check outs glanced over and when she came to help me I asked her, "hey, I'm not sure what I got that's 25.97 but I don't need it. I'm sorry" so she responds "don't you want to just go over to customer service so the people in line don't she to WAIT ON YOU?" ‍ is this just a Houston thing, where people are rude and unkind to others, even when they're working, even when I'm being nice? You are presuming I have 26 additional dollars to spend the plate was in a spot with the same other plates that said 6.96. I am not asking for a discount or oh it was in the wrong spot, just please help me take it off real quick. I literally bought 2 tshirts, 1 salad, tweezers and like 8 notebooks all the same color, size and price. 2 dog sprays. So it's one item, she quickly located the item took it off and walked away while I was speaking to her. I was so personable and friendly toward her. The way she should be acting as someone who gets money to work at Walmart I'm a nurse . It would be a shame if I treated her/your family that way, wouldn't it? Gas light you into feeling guilty for needing something from me. I try to brighten peoples day and it just sucks when you send me out of your store in tears because you are heartless, have no etiquette or class, low bottom of the totem pole not professional. Walmart employees need etiquette? Or just Houston? I dealt with 2 other workers in Walmart at auto and beauty paying 3 separate transactions. I have a whole story about trying to be in auto too. We all have jobs, we should all be capable of being professional and kind in all circumstances. Otherwise you need to find a new job if you can't deal with people. I work too. read more

My parents and I order groceries via Walmart's "At Home" delivery and have for over 2 years. We were always happy until the past few months.....produce has been horrible, not to mention milk spoiled 10 days before expiration. Regarding produce, 1st problem was with Driscoll Strawberries which were molded on bottom and insides looked as though someone puked, Green Onions were wilted, recall on Kandy Canteloupe due to Salmonella (they did credit me for cost, however I never saw where they removed or noted "out of stock". Lettuce (when available) was molded several times as well as wilted (there is NO REASON why whomever is performing the shopping cannot see the produce is molded/wilted)!! I will no longer continue to spend my hard earned money if they cannot provide quality produce. Not sure what is going on with the Milk. I have attached pictures. read more

Entrance "greeter" , robbie , was wearing her flip down sun glasses inside the store. This seems quite unprofessional and it's probably reason she didn't greet/see me walk in with my item (receipt included ) This became a hassle once I went to customer service for my exchange. Either she needs to do her job properly , or have someone else do it. If this sticker was necessary why was I still able to return/exchange my item with only receipt ?seems totally unnecessary, she Definitely needs to lose the shade inside the store either way, unless every employee is now authorized to wear shades inside the building. read more

Walmart's are now far and few between. This Walmart; however, is pretty decent. Anytime of day or night it is always stocked and well maintained. I find some great finds here, except for blue eyeliner & blue mascara. My favorite section is their bath & beauty section. Regardless, of which is your favorite you will always find a rather good deal or time saving product. read more

Walmart Supercenter - Pizza at a great value price - Grocery Near Me - Tomball, Texas

In terms of their grocery selection, this location is better than some of the Walmart stores I've been to, but comes nowhere close to what the nearest HEB and Kroger stores have to offer. That being said, there are a couple of grocery items that I can only seem to find here that neither HEB nor Kroger seem to sell, but overall I would not recommend this location as someone's primary grocery store. As for other parts of the store, the quality of their selection tends to fluctuate. Sometimes it's fairly good, but never the best, and in some departments the selection is almost always poor. For example, their action figure selection is among the worst of any Walmart I've ever been to and the shelves have literally been picked clean for months; it doesn't even look like they restocked for the holidays, much less the new year. So if you're into collecting toys yourself or have kids, you might want to try someplace else. At the same time, collectors can still find hidden gems at this store on occasion, such as old TCG booster packs. Another issue I've found shopping here is that items are often kept out of place, making them difficult or even impossible to find despite being listed as "in stock." Sometimes it is literally faster to go to another Walmart and get the item there and come back than it is to look for that same item at this location. An aisle can literally be organized one day and a complete mess the next. Occasionally, something will not be stocked where it supposed to be, but will be fully stocked in a completely unrelated and distant part of the store. Although the employees here are very hardworking and often go above and beyond what is expected of them to help customers, there are simply not enough people on hand to keep things going as they should. This is especially evident at checkout, where long lines are a common occurrence due to there not being enough cashiers. Elsewhere, such as in the toy department where shelves remain bare for months at a time, unopened boxes full of unstocked merchandise pile up outside the aisles with no employees on hand to stock them. And I'll say this again, the employees here are great and go above and beyond what is expected of them, but they're overworked and exhausted because there aren't enough of them on hand to keep the store running. I think most of this location's problems would be solved quickly if they were to hire more employees across the board and find a more competent management team to replace this store's current management. Considering that Walmart is the world's largest company by revenue, this should be an extremely easy fix, not a chronic problem that continues to get worse over time. It's really pathetic. Overall, this Walmart is a good late-night store, but offers no reasonable advantage over anyone else when those stores are open and is marred by serious problems that should be incredibly easy to fix that place it behind other Walmart locations, such as the one that's literally down the street in Tomball. Again, I think this store could improve considerably just by hiring more employees and being placed under new management. read more

Eh it's Walmart. I suppose out of all of the Walmart in the northwest Houston area, this is my preferred one to go to. It's cleaner than others and has a self checkout area. Prices are pretty good and you can get everything you need at one location. This location also has sewing supplies, which I noticed went missing from the Walmart off of 290 and Tidwell years ago. On my last visit, I went pretty late at night (11 PM on a Saturday). My only complaint is that the self checkout machines kept messing up. I ended up going to a second machine because the first said to wait for the attendant but no one was around. The second machine did the same but another lady checking out called one of the employees over, who looked like he was sorting through returns. He said he was the one to help us, which is the reason I avoid Walmart. Why do they have the only attendant for self checkout also sorting returns? It's like they try to cut costs by understaffing, but then people like me avoid them. Still, this Walmart is better than others. read more

Not a bad place to get an oil change - if you are not in rush! Got the Quaker State oil and filter change - a bit over $20. Really not a bad deal considering the tighten everything back up and steal stuff from your vehicle (unlike the two oil/lube places near Louetta & Champions Forrest). I was at the store at 9:50 pm for my pick up someone else was waiting as well, the pick up people left early so neither of us were able to get our groceries that were paid for and scheduled to be picked up by 10:00pm, I went inside to ask the manager roland is there was something they could do he said no and to come back tomorrow, I asked if he could get my groceries again or if he could put me in touch with his supervisor, he refused to help at that point, said he had work to do and he's walking away so I asked " like follow you? " he said I can if I want so I did about 20 ft then he stops and threatens and proceeds to call the cops for harassment and trespassing, so now I'm waiting for the cops to come to I can clear all this up, thankfully Jen comes out and give me the website info and number to call, needless to say bad management and employees read more

Last week I purchased my groceries, camping supplies and adult beverages by using the Walmart pick up service. This service was fantastic!!! There is a lot of time, energy and planning that goes into a camping trip and the Walmart pick up service made it very easy to get the items I needed. I used the online ordering, picked a time, picked the items and voila, grocery shopping done!!! The website also let me make changes until 1:30am the day of the pick up. I added and subtracted a couple of items and it changed my order without any issues. A text let me know my order was ready and the Walmart employees loaded the items into my car. My credit card on file was charged for exactly what had been bought. this service saved me at least 2hours and gave me peace of mind we had everything we needed for a fun camping trip. read more

I was harassed by an employee name Susie in the toys dept. It was 8 am in the morning, I enter through Garden Dept. I saw two cases of Hotwheels on the floor which it was open and already been looked through. I found 20 items and was walking to the Toys Dept. to see what else I can purchase. An employee name Susie shout loudly and said where did you get those from? I thought she was talking with her co-worker. She said hey you !!! I am talking to you!!! You can't take that !!! I was shocked that she spoke that way to a customer.... I told her I was buying these items and asked her why are you aggressively being rude and following me? And she used her walkie talkie to called someone regarding that I should put the items back. I have never experienced this kind of rude behavior from any retail store before. Out of 18 registers, they had one open and it was for 20 items or less. I asked the lady if another register was open and was told no. I asked where I was supposed to check out. She said they are pushing for people to use self-checkout. I told her I wasn't going to use self-checkout for a basket full of groceries. If I had less, I would, but there isn't enough space to do it yourself. Of course, her register had about as much space as self-checkout. I found another basket so I could bag my own groceries and unload my other basket at the same time. She then asked if I knew how much the blackberries were, which I didn't. She just stared at me like she didn't know what to do. I told her, "Well, I bagged my own groceries, so I guess management wants me to do my own price check." I strolled past the five people waiting in line behind me to go get a price check and returned and informed the cashier of the price. Horrible shopping experience! read more

I have been shopping online with delivery all through the pandemic with little to no issue, however the past 2 weeks in a row my orders have had to be canceled due to some sort of internal issue. I understand things happen, however neither time did anyone from Walmart bother to let me know. They text, email and update the app to show your order is "on the way", but apparently cannot let you know it's not really. Both times I had to initiate a chat with someone from outside the US to learn my order had been canceled due to a delivery issue. I know Walmart isn't known for stellar customer service, but this is pretty bad even for them. You may want to consider another location while they get this sorted out if you want your groceries delivered. read more

The customers at this one certainly don't look like they came out of the woods like the other Tomball location but there still a lot of dirty people in this one. This Wally World used to be much better in quality than it is these days... maybe its the influx of building & expansions in the area, or better yet - the careless shoppers with no sense of respect for anyone, even themselves. Nonetheless, I still prefer this one over many of the others in the immediate area.. (ahem - like the one a little further up 249) I only come here for random last minute things and pure amusement (think "People of Walmart"), considering I refuse to shop for my main groceries at this place. I swear the fresh food is bottom of the barrel and near trash-can quality, so I cannot, nor will not jump at it. I prefer quality, edible food... ;-) Like I said, I usually don't have an issue here finding what I came for - they stay pretty well stocked. A lot of the staff I see working here I've seen many years, so that should let you know there's at least some sort of stability at this location. That's a plus... can't say that for many others. If you hate grocery shopping as much as I do then you are going to love this location because you can order your food online and they grab it all for you. You drive up to the side and they load it in your car for you too. The service is top notch! I would rate them 5 stars based on that alone however their website where you place your order for your items has a few issues that still need to be worked out before I would call it a perfect system. First is that when you check out a previous order none of the items listed are linked. So you can't just quickly click on something you've previously ordered and order it again. Next is their search feature is a mess. For example if you search for a 2 liter of Pepsi, you won't find it. But if you go into the beverages department and click page by page by page you'll eventually find the item listed. If you search for hair mousse or simply mousse you won't find any listed - as if they had none available. You'll get weird things like a computer mouse, or rat poison. But if you go into the health and beauty department and click page by page by page you'll eventually find that they do in fact offer several varieties of hair mousse. Overall i am very happy with their service though. I mean how can you possibly not be happy about never having to actually grocery shop again? read more

My review is for a young employee by the name of CARSON from whom I had the displeasure of asking, "In which aisle is the Endust?" CARSON didn't even slow down. Well he was walking slowly already so that would have been tough to do. But as I stood there, he kept walking and said over his shoulder "I'm not working". Now.....on or off the clock.....I cannot think of one single moment when I've asked an employee a very simple question, where the employee would NOT and absolutely refused to engage. This is like the worst walmart i have ever been to. especially if you there to buy paint! This has happened to me like third time. fee times before they said their machine isn't working. Today (fast forward few months) i went again to get paint , they never have anyone around the paint aisle. I went and asked one of the employees in yellow jacket to get me someone to make paint for me. She told me to go back to paint area and someone will be there shortly! I waited around 15 mins and no one came! I had two toddler with me and i was running late to pickup my other kids from school. I went ahead and checked out what i had in my cart and on my way out i told that employee that no one came,she said sorry i told my manager u need help. She knew you needed help. which means the manager didn care to send anyone or atleast let me know if there was no one available or if their machine wasn't working! fyi the store wasn't crowed either or else I'd give it a benefit of doubt that maybe the manager was very occupied. Terrible customer service! I left a bag at Walmart and called them about getting in back operator tells me to just bring my receipt and they will either find it or let me get another. So I go there show my receipt and she couldn't find it in lost or found and wouldn't let me get another one. Because it was self checkout. If this is "true" then the operator should have said they would do that unless it was self checkout. They wasted my time standing in that long customer service line. I'll just shop at amazon.
