Conveniently located near the 215 Fwy on Haun & Newport Roads in the Buffalo Wild Wings shopping center with plenty of parking. This is a Japanese store that reminds me of an upgraded version of a 99-cent discount store, but of course, much better products. Daiso sells a variety of things such as snacks, toys, decorations, housewares, hair accessories, and lots of cute & useful stuff. I had a good experience at this location and was extremely happy to find a Daiso nearby.

A great addition to the area! They have the same items as other Daiso locations as well as some new ones. It was well-stocked and quite organized. The place itself is quite spacious compared to other locations that I've been to. The workers were very helpful and nice as well. We'll definitely be coming back regularly!

I love going to Daiso! It was my first time visiting the Menifee location and I'm glad I stopped by because it had some of the items I can't find at other Daiso locations. This Daiso store is located just west of the 215 freeway on Newport and Haun, near Aldi and Sonic. Most items here are $1.75 and specialty items are just a bit more. I like picking up the specialty items, specifically the wheeled base for potted plants, which are under $5. If you're coming to Daiso for the first time, what you'll find are school and office supplies, stationery, plush toys, kitchen gadgets and kitchenware, organizational containers, gift bags, beauty products, and snacks - and many more! I was surprised to see Zebra Midliners sold individually. The service could be better, although it wasn't terrible either. Perhaps a cheerful greeting or a smile would help. Overall, there are a bunch of tchotchkes and little treasures here. If you have some time, it's fun to peruse the aisles for items you didn't know existed!

This location is just ok. The locations in San Diego and Irvine are exponentially better when it comes to products carried. They never seem to have bags so bring your own or have no choice other than to purchase their small reusable ones. They also have a "no return policy" which I'm not clear on as in if you bought something that was defective/expired, you can't even exchange? That doesn't sit well with me so luckily this location is far enough out of the way that I don't come in often.

Daiso is a well known Japanese variety store, which sells a lot of items for less than Five Dollars. It reminds me a lot of Five Below and this location is the first for lower SW corner of Riverside and the Inland Empire. I've shopped in several now in SoCal and it's easy to get lost in one and buy things you didn't know you needed. LOL Came here a week after their opening and still they were packed with customers. Granted they're are a lot of children type merchandise, but still the grown ups out numbered the wee ones. Pads, papers, pens, batteries of all sized, chotchkies, lots of chotchkies. Bought a few things, spent less than ten bucks. I'll be back.

Cheapest I've ever seen for a can in CA!!

Same as it ever was!! Daiso Japan is the newest hot spot in Menifee. You'll find it at the former location of Activ, near Nutrishop and around the corner from China Bros. Walk in to find a huge store filled with goodies from boba stuffies to specialty food items from Japan and Hawaii. They have housewares, gardening tools, automobile and office accessories, and even school supplies and beauty products. Prices are very fair, and they have a conversion chart for your convenience while shopping. If it doesn't have a price on it, it's $1.75. Score big as you walk through and find things you never knew you needed! Service was a bit slow as there was only 1 cashier and a few people in line to pay. They barely opened last weekend, so I would think they would have more employees to ring people up, but maybe they're still figuring out the scheduling. Other than that, it's big, organized, and has a lot more space in the aisles than the Mira Mesa location. EnJOY your finds!

Came last Sunday around 1. Busy but not busy. Store was clean. Reminded me of Jusco and Hamby Town back home but a compact size lol. I suggest going early if looking for snacks as they go pretty quickly

The service and the workers were not good. Everything else the value in the selection was good, but the workers were not as kind.

All I saw was a lot of overpriced junk items. The three stars are for the employees not for their inventory

Grocery shopping can be found at Target, Aldis, Baron's Market, or Ralph's on Antelope Rd. There's just too many businesses for me to list! If this shopping area didn't exist i don't know what i'd do!

Without hesitation, I'd call Countryside Marketplace the equivalent of DJ in Irvine. While there…read moreare a good variety of shops and eateries here, the craziness of trying to get in and out from the hot mess better known as Haun Road is NOT the business. The roundabout entrance from Haun can be a hit or miss situation. There are always those drivers who are in a rush, texting, or just don't bother looking to see if it's clear. Then you sometimes have to deal with the ones who just don't know how a roundabout works at all (oh yes, they're out there)! Both are annoying af to say the least. The parking lot outside Bushfire Kitchen, Crumbl, Panda Express, etc. could have been spread out more. Be careful turning those tight corners because some people make wide ass turns. I've come close to being sideswiped a few times from dummy drivers who don't pay attention, smh. Stalls seem to be slimmer in that lot compared to the rest of the Marketplace, too. The Target store forever runs out of stuff, and the Starbies inside never really gets the new merch. If they do, they don't get a lot so whatever it is sells out fast. TJ Maxx and Home Goods usually have decent things, and if you're a techie, there's a Best Buy here. =) Burlington is one of the newcomers, but it doesn't seem like they're getting a lot of love. If you're hangered, there's Red Robin, In n Out, Miguel's, Hana Sushi, Bushfire Kitchen, and a few others to choose from. Better Buzz is supposedly coming soon to the old Starbucks location, but it's moving at a snail's pace. It's a good place to get shopping done, but I'd recommend coming during non peak times. You'll want to avoid the nuisance of hitting all the red lights on Haun. Have at it!

I touch it and look at it, but I can't quite do the DILL PICKLE one BUT maybe one day?! The produce is very nice and they have an olive oil and food bar that is very attractive. They also carry KETTLE brand UNSALTED chips, which are Bomb Diggity! The "cookie bar" where you choose your own cookies by the pound is out of this world and satisfies your sweet tooth itch BIG time. There is a nice section of granola and many corn chips to choose from, my favorite are the LA FORTALEZA stoneground corn tortilla chips, restaurant style- NO preservatives NO cholesterol, gluten-free and a huge bag for around four dollars, it's insane!. When you walk in the door, there's a great floral selection. I always browse and look, they're beautiful. The staff is nice, easy-going and very helpful. Of course there's plenty of parking, it may be "pricer" than other stores, but the merchandising, and aesthetic is well worth the trip for certain items. By the way, don't you just hate the new trend of the large grocery chains often times owned by one conglomerate that have like three or four or five different prices on each item depending on whether you have a phone number, an electronic number, an email, a text, and all that crap it's just very confusing?! Baron's is upscale and clean and well organized and has unique items without overdoing and replicating product like other grocery stores do. I'll keep it in my rotation and I hope you do as well. Enjoy.
