Lots of parking and clean organized inside plus the nice cool air inside. Selection is amazing from toys, arts and craft, beauty products, kitchen too many to name. I like take my time browse aisle by aisle and always find something nee snd interesting. Only thing I dont like some of the products different character so Id have to ask for assistance. Prices are cheaper kinda like Dollar Tree or 99 Cent store. People there are friendly and helpful. I asked for help and took her a little longer to figure it out hehe. I visited Daiso on Friday, August 7, 2026. Around 8:30PM. Overall, Daiso has a great selection of products at good prices. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular location was disappointing because of the customer service. During my transaction, I changed my mind about a few items and wanted to put them back. The cashier seemed irritated and made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her simply because I decided not to purchase everything. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that while she was helping us, she stopped twice to tell the one other party waiting in line, "I'll be with you." It felt like she was more concerned about the customers waiting behind us than providing good customer service to the customers she was already assisting. Mind you, it was just ONE party waiting at that time. We should not have been made to feel rushed or uncomfortable just because I changed my mind about a few items. A little patience, courtesy, and professionalism would have made a big difference. To be clear, my review is simply based on my personal experience and the poor customer service I received during this visit. Daiso itself has good products at good prices, but this interaction left a bad impression on me. It reminds me of Longs drugstore on Oahu. This place is packed to the rafters with merch. Prices need to be converted using the charts throughout the store but with out that info you are clueless as to how much anything costs Food, toys, housewares and beauty products abound. Conveniently located near the 215 Fwy on Haun & Newport Roads in the Buffalo Wild Wings shopping center with plenty of parking. This is a Japanese store that reminds me of an upgraded version of a 99-cent discount store, but of course, much better products. Daiso sells a variety of things such as snacks, toys, decorations, housewares, hair accessories, and lots of cute & useful stuff. I had a good experience at this location and was extremely happy to find a Daiso nearby. read more

I love going to Daiso! It was my first time visiting the Menifee location and I'm glad I stopped by because it had some of the items I can't find at other Daiso locations. This Daiso store is located just west of the 215 freeway on Newport and Haun, near Aldi and Sonic. Most items here are $1.75 and specialty items are just a bit more. I like picking up the specialty items, specifically the wheeled base for potted plants, which are under $5. If you're coming to Daiso for the first time, what you'll find are school and office supplies, stationery, plush toys, kitchen gadgets and kitchenware, organizational containers, gift bags, beauty products, and snacks - and many more! I was surprised to see Zebra Midliners sold individually. The service could be better, although it wasn't terrible either. Perhaps a cheerful greeting or a smile would help. Overall, there are a bunch of tchotchkes and little treasures here. If you have some time, it's fun to peruse the aisles for items you didn't know existed! read more

This location is just ok. The locations in San Diego and Irvine are exponentially better when it comes to products carried. They never seem to have bags so bring your own or have no choice other than to purchase their small reusable ones. They also have a "no return policy" which I'm not clear on as in if you bought something that was defective/expired, you can't even exchange? That doesn't sit well with me so luckily this location is far enough out of the way that I don't come in often. read more

Daiso is a well known Japanese variety store, which sells a lot of items for less than Five Dollars. It reminds me a lot of Five Below and this location is the first for lower SW corner of Riverside and the Inland Empire. I've shopped in several now in SoCal and it's easy to get lost in one and buy things you didn't know you needed. LOL Came here a week after their opening and still they were packed with customers. Granted they're are a lot of children type merchandise, but still the grown ups out numbered the wee ones. Pads, papers, pens, batteries of all sized, chotchkies, lots of chotchkies. Bought a few things, spent less than ten bucks. I'll be back. read more

Same as it ever was!! Daiso Japan is the newest hot spot in Menifee. You'll find it at the former location of Activ, near Nutrishop and around the corner from China Bros. Walk in to find a huge store filled with goodies from boba stuffies to specialty food items from Japan and Hawaii. They have housewares, gardening tools, automobile and office accessories, and even school supplies and beauty products. Prices are very fair, and they have a conversion chart for your convenience while shopping. If it doesn't have a price on it, it's $1.75. Score big as you walk through and find things you never knew you needed! Service was a bit slow as there was only 1 cashier and a few people in line to pay. They barely opened last weekend, so I would think they would have more employees to ring people up, but maybe they're still figuring out the scheduling. Other than that, it's big, organized, and has a lot more space in the aisles than the Mira Mesa location. EnJOY your finds! read more

This is a warning about this particular Menifee store. We bought something at 9:24 am on May 14, 2026. We paid by "tapping" a credit card at the manned cashier (not self checkout). There was only one cashier there. The card we used hadn't been used in the last month. At around 2:40 pm we started getting notifications of that credit card being used: $96 at Luna Grill, then $780 for a vacation rental (Vacasa LLC). A third charge was in process for some kind of surgery while we were on the phone with the credit card company. I don't know how this happened but be very careful paying for something at this store! read more

The service and the workers were not good. Everything else the value in the selection was good, but the workers were not as kind.

They don't accept returns. So make sure u really want the item ur buying. Maybe have them open the item for you if u want to look at it.The stuff in there is too expensive to not take returns. read more

Finally a cute little store in menifee! Glad there's something like this. I like their kitchen stuff, but be careful grabbing too many cute things you'll end up walking out paying $100+ for a bunch of cute stuff. Service was fast even though there was a line it does go by fast. read more

I walked in and was browsing, when my special needs asked to use the bathroom. I asked an associate and he said they didn't have one. Someone should make .this store aware of the law that you can't deny bathroom access to anyone with a disability as per the ADA. read more

I really like the place and all the items there, but I don't understand why the place locks the door during their store hours, it's 3pm. Having multiple customers come to door trying to open it with no signage and employees are inside is very unprofessional. read more

Fun little Asian store with lots of unique items that you may or may not need, but it is indeed fun to walk around and see what they have. I like the food aisle myself, the ghost pepper noodles will kick you in the ass, hey you've been warned! read more

Selection is great, I am giving you a two stars because you offer no public restrooms. You are a public facility and should offer bathroom. Even your competitor 5 bellow has bathrooms for customers. Bring a Japanese's company, I am surprised there is no restrooms. I will take my bossiness elsewhere. read more

Menifee finally has a Daiso and it's a good one! Nice selection of cute little things.

They have the most interesting things here. Definitely make time to explore! The staff was also really friendly!

Clean and products were easy to locate. The staff very attentive and helpful. I recommend their salad bowls.

Cool selections they always have something see and they always have great holiday selections for either baking decorating or gift

I like Daiso but the return policy so be careful when you buy anything there, NO RETURN OR EXCHANGE POLICY unless its damaged. If you made a mistake ir change your mind you're in no luck at all. read more
