I live pretty far from this marketplace but it's the closest to my home. There is EVERYTHING to do…read morehere! Only 2 businesses that i like are missing but otherwise it's great. Grocery shopping can be found at Target, Aldis, Baron's Market, or Ralph's on Antelope Rd. There's just too many businesses for me to list! If this shopping area didn't exist i don't know what i'd do!

Without hesitation, I'd call Countryside Marketplace the equivalent of DJ in Irvine. While there…read moreare a good variety of shops and eateries here, the craziness of trying to get in and out from the hot mess better known as Haun Road is NOT the business. The roundabout entrance from Haun can be a hit or miss situation. There are always those drivers who are in a rush, texting, or just don't bother looking to see if it's clear. Then you sometimes have to deal with the ones who just don't know how a roundabout works at all (oh yes, they're out there)! Both are annoying af to say the least. The parking lot outside Bushfire Kitchen, Crumbl, Panda Express, etc. could have been spread out more. Be careful turning those tight corners because some people make wide ass turns. I've come close to being sideswiped a few times from dummy drivers who don't pay attention, smh. Stalls seem to be slimmer in that lot compared to the rest of the Marketplace, too. The Target store forever runs out of stuff, and the Starbies inside never really gets the new merch. If they do, they don't get a lot so whatever it is sells out fast. TJ Maxx and Home Goods usually have decent things, and if you're a techie, there's a Best Buy here. =) Burlington is one of the newcomers, but it doesn't seem like they're getting a lot of love. If you're hangered, there's Red Robin, In n Out, Miguel's, Hana Sushi, Bushfire Kitchen, and a few others to choose from. Better Buzz is supposedly coming soon to the old Starbucks location, but it's moving at a snail's pace. It's a good place to get shopping done, but I'd recommend coming during non peak times. You'll want to avoid the nuisance of hitting all the red lights on Haun. Have at it!

I touch it and look at it, but I can't quite do the DILL PICKLE one BUT maybe one day?! The produce is very nice and they have an olive oil and food bar that is very attractive. They also carry KETTLE brand UNSALTED chips, which are Bomb Diggity! The "cookie bar" where you choose your own cookies by the pound is out of this world and satisfies your sweet tooth itch BIG time. There is a nice section of granola and many corn chips to choose from, my favorite are the LA FORTALEZA stoneground corn tortilla chips, restaurant style- NO preservatives NO cholesterol, gluten-free and a huge bag for around four dollars, it's insane!. When you walk in the door, there's a great floral selection. I always browse and look, they're beautiful. The staff is nice, easy-going and very helpful. Of course there's plenty of parking, it may be "pricer" than other stores, but the merchandising, and aesthetic is well worth the trip for certain items. By the way, don't you just hate the new trend of the large grocery chains often times owned by one conglomerate that have like three or four or five different prices on each item depending on whether you have a phone number, an electronic number, an email, a text, and all that crap it's just very confusing?! Baron's is upscale and clean and well organized and has unique items without overdoing and replicating product like other grocery stores do. I'll keep it in my rotation and I hope you do as well. Enjoy.

Ive tried 25 balsamic vinegar a little pricy but think rice flavor goes well with olive oil and Barons sour dough bread. The self serve salads, olives, soups are also good. They have tables and chairs outside for eating. Have a nice day! Also grounded Barons coffee to a Turkish very fine grind. Can't wait to try.
