While I was waiting for my food order from Yum Long at Atlantic Times Square in Monterey Park, I visited Daiso within the same square. It's not a very big store like some of the other Daisos I've been to. Clean and organized interior. Aisles are slightly narrow. Shelves were well stocked. Most merchandises and knick knacks are pretty standard. Although I did noticed a couple cool finds. Bought a tea strainer and sushi box (to be used for tray of togetherness at future Lunar New Year events). Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were average. Strange, I didn't see self check-out. Nevertheless, sometimes it's nice to receive good service from an actual person. I shall be back for future good finds. Btw, free parking at the square.

A Japanese take on a store chain that offers a variety of items snd novelties with brand names like Sanrio and Disney. Different kinds of kitchen goods too as well as various unique merchandise! Got a small panda flower ceramic pot and soooo cute!

Havent been to daiso in soo long and everything is not 1.50 anymore. Its 2.25 if its not marked but thats still cheap. They have a bunch of random stuff. Some of the shelf items were a but dusty but i didnt expect that theyd clean it. Came to see if they were giving out the dodgers bag but they ran out. Guess it wasnt until 6/30.

Closest Daiso to Asayoru Maid Cafe! If I have to get extra storage for my cheki or bromides or if I need an accessory to wear to the cafe for an event, this is the perfect spot to stop by right before. They usually also participate in the Milkyway Marketplace events that occur at Atlantic Times Square. Stock is pretty decent and I've never really seen things out of stock. I've mostly seen them restock random things there or have huge boxed shipments in random spots of the store. Staff probably getting ready to add more things in. Sad day that Daiso is like $2.25 for items now, but le sigh, tis the society we live in. Sometimes things in certain aisles, like the storage, oshikatsu, stationery aisle are shoved everywhere and not as organized, but if they don't have a lot of staff, I can see why this wouldn't be a priority. They have self check out. Sometimes I've been here where the AC is barely on or not all of the lights are on, which is pretty funny, but not overly detrimental.

We were strolling through Atlantic Times Square Plaza, minding our own business, when all of a sudden a Daiso appears like a bright treasure cave. Hubby insisted we check it out. Within minutes, we're knee-deep in plushies, cute pens, and enough trinkets to fill a dragon's hoard... on a budget. They're already rolling out the Christmas merch!! Grabbed some of those too!! Daiso is basically the cooler, classier cousin of the dollar store... the one w better taste but still loves a good bargain.

Daiso has definitely changed!! Not sure how others perceive the changes but coming to this daiso after a while I see there was improvements but also inflation of prices. The prices in all daiso increased and they will let you know exactly what items are priced and starting at $2.25 with some "clearance" items at lower price, I am not sure if I want to buy a lot anymore! The self checkout is what changed, no more cash! We tried to pay but only card is accepted here and there wasn't a staff near the check out if we wanted to pay cash. There was a line so we just paid by card to not hold it up and wait for staff. I love their seasonal section and usually they display new or seasonal things for sale near the front.

One of the largest Daisos I've ever seen. You want pens? There's a billion to chose from. You want decorations? There's a trillion to chose from. You want household items? Sure, they got that too. Parking is free (hallelujah). The employees are really nice. And the mall that this Daiso is in is a really nice, cute local mall in MP that does a lot with the little bit of space that it occupies. If you're in town, definitely check out this Daiso. I dare you to go in and not come out with something.

This Daiso store is located in a busy plaza in Monterey park, conveniently located next to free way. There's an underground paneling structure, shaded with the movie theater and other restaurants. It's crowded inside, and apparently understaffed, had to wait cashier to come to the front for checkout.

Located in the same area as the AMC theater and usually my go-to Daiso. The store is well-organized. I was looking for some boxes, and I was able to find some by the wall. Lots of cute things to find here!

Honestly, I enjoyed walking & perusing the items for some cardio. I arrived at the Walmart Supercenter (Rosemead) on Wednesday (around 9AM - August 2026). It's filled with customers! Even though the shaded parking lot is gigantic, the place felt filled. The Walmart Supercenter (Rosemead) had A LOT of staff. Staff is easy to find, and the location is jam packed with great deals. I eventually ended up buying some seltzer water, but this spot felt comparable to Costco. They sold food, clothes, car supplies, toys, and almost everything. I walked around for about an hour, and I still couldn't see everything. HUGE! As I left, I showed my receipt to the greeter by the entrance/exit, and Staff promptly smiled and said, "Goodbye, Sir." From top to bottom, this location felt safe, welcoming, and well-managed. I had no intention of leaving a review when I'd entered, but I'm compelled to say that the low rating doesn't do this place justice. I had a surprisingly good experience, and I can easily see this HUGE Walmart being a funny tourist attraction. Great deals!!

We have not had a problem with any food products, clothing, or other items we purchased from here. Toilets are at the front like at most locations. There is also a McDonalds--never ate at this location, but there are usually at least a few people eating there on every visit. Overall, an ok place to shop. Would be a better experience if it was not so crowded and if some customers were not rude and/or weird. Try to come during off hours if possible because they are always busy.

One dude named Angel, you may or may not know him, he is ALWAYS first or ONE of the first 5 people waiting in line. This dude always gets cards even if he's purchased the set already. The downside on this target location is that it's limit 2 per SKU, so this dude get multiple of EVERYTHING and he's known to be reselling as well from what I've heard. Today 05/08/26, there was an issue between 2 gentleman waiting in line about spot saving, because Angel left his chair in line and was apparently gone for hours only to show up 30 minutes before the store opened. Then what appears to be a friend or family member of Angels, shows up 15 minutes before opening. Then one gentleman, I don't know what the name is, but he's big, waddled his way into line and sat down on the ghost chair that he apparently left in line the night before, he always seems to be one of the first 5 people as well. I don't know what the name of the guy was that was defending Angel but this dude reeked of weed, looked like a bum wearing a black hoodie, facial hair indeed looking all bummish, and was also saving a spot in line for his wife that showed up like 20minutes after the store opened. It's crazy that chairs for whatever reason it be, can "save your place" in line without you even having to be physically there because as a collector myself I'd be pretty mad too that the first 5 people in are buying multiple of everything while everyone else there is trying to get something as well, especially after waiting HOURS and you can't really get anything because ANGEL and his buddies are spot saving and not PHYSICALLY present in line. This store needs to ban Angel from shopping at this location and they need to change to limit down to 1 per customer because limit 2 per customer especially when it comes to Pokemon cards is wild. It's a kids card game, and we got grown folk arguing which in this case is valid, IF YOU ARE NOT WAITING IN LINE LIKE THE REST OF THE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD NOT BE FIRST IN LINE AT ALL.

Tonight was a perfect example of why. I watched a manager open a register, help one customer, and then close it--even as the line kept growing to about 15 people. That left just one associate handling a long line, while another cashier was tied up helping a group with a large purchase. Instead of jumping in to help during a busy moment, the manager was on her phone, then emptying trash behind the registers and adjusting carts--completely ignoring the line of waiting customers. The only bright spot was Carlos, who was working incredibly hard and treating customers with patience and professionalism despite the situation. He deserves recognition for how he handled things. It's frustrating because TJ Maxx has great products, but the lack of customer care at this location makes it not worth the stop.
