The store in Rancho Cucamonga is easy to find, and the store is very clean and neat. The starting price for their items is $1.50 (hair pins) and I saw items that sold up to $4:00 (3 way small mirror). My daughter really liked their snacks and there are some items worth shopping there that you could save money if compared to Target and the like. For example, face oil blotters, a Mason jar, snacks and other similar products. However, you get what you pay for so don't expect the highest quality product, just like a 99 cent store or the Dollar Tree. The difference is that the items are mostly Asian. Overall, it's a fun cute little store and it would be great to learn more about products from Asia. For me, it was mostly the snacks that were new to me. read more

I'm not one who typically shops at dollar type stores, but this place is worth a visit, even just to say you've been in one. In stark contrast to other dollar stores, these stores are immaculate and well lit, with J-pop playing over the speakers. I've only ever bought fly swatters here, but they have all sorts of little knick knacks that you would never think of buying, from kitchen supplies, household storage containers, stationary, etc. The stuff is generally in the $1.50 price range, so you are getting what you are paying for, and there are no refunds and no exchanges to further drive that point home. read more

I love Daiso shops especially for the art and stationary supplies. This is a big, new store and had lots of kitchen, bath, travel and beauty items. But I was disappointed in the art, stationary and office supplies. I love the small sketch books and managed to pick up a few. I was looking for the plastic portfolios and folders I have found in other Dasios. They are perfect for storing completed sketches. But they wasn't much on the shelves. I did find several kitchen and travel supply items on my list. Lets face it, there is always something fun and cute and useful to buy at Daiso. read more

I just moved to this area, and it seems this location just opened up as it had a "Grand Opening" sign proudly hanging above the store. I really liked this store, as it had all the aisles labeled above so it was easy to find exactly what I needed. I also liked how it wasn't super stuffy inside like some of the other Saudi locations I've been to. Glad I found this place, will definitely be frequenting this Daiso more often! read more

I love Daiso but their sanitation standards in COVID aren't sufficient. It was nice seeing them cleaning the baskets. However, they don't clean anything around the cashier station (particularly the stylus all card purchases use) and I found a used glove in the bag when I got home. read more

I'm usually very happy with my experiences at Daiso but today I dealt with unfriendly service. Throughout my time in the store I had felt watched by the store employees but I had ignored them putting that aside. Upon checking out the cashier charged me the wrong amount of money for an item and refused to change it when I brought this up even though the correct price was labeled on the item itself. Since I was greeted with this hostile behavior I decided not to push it and just paid for it as it wasn't a large amount of money. I don't know why I was treated like this but I half wondered if it was because I was Asian during this pandemic while all employees I saw were non Asian ironically enough in a Daiso. I hope the service improves and will probably not come again to this location. read more

This place is awesome ! They have the most unique selection of merchandise and so many useful things , they advertise higher quality at a lower price and they are not lieing, they also have a selection of makeup that I haven't found anywhere else it isn't like Mac or Sephora but it works well and they're makeup brushes are affordable as well. Love this place. Especially if you like to try something different. The stationary is the cutest ever. The Knick knacks are things you find in other stores for a lot more. Love Daiso in general, but this one in particular is very large, clean and open. Parking is easy since the lot houses other stores (TJ's). The staff was as friendly as staff at a retail store could be and when my husband accidentally broke a glass, because he was swinging his arms like a 3 year old, they didn't make us by it. It is the japanese version of the dollar store but some items look really cute. There is so much to browse. Everything costs 1.50 $ unless specified otherwise. The store is well organized and clean. It has a wide selection of everything. I must admit that I came here for ceramic bowls but I got other things than that, so beware. I like their stationary sets as my boy likes to pretend to send a bunch of mails. Their melamine sponge is so cheap and comes in different sizes or cuttable. I found paper, paint brushes and ink for calligraphy just in case. If you need to organize, there are a wide selection of containers, although on the smaller side. I'm very happy that Daiso just opened in Rancho. We don't need to go to Ontario or Chino Hills for that no more. This is very well known Japanese version of dollar store. Most of the items here are $1.50 but some are more depending on the items. The reason I like about Daiso is they have really useful house hold items for cheaper price. In comparison with local dollar stores, the prices here may seem a lil bit higer but the quality of their products are better too. But the items sold here are final and not returnable. read more

My least favorite Daiso so far. The store is large decent but not the best. It was a bit cluttered and some of the shelves were not restocked and empty . My biggest pet peeve was the store employees were greeting practically everyone who came in the store and helping them, but failed to say hello to myself. I even forgot to get a large basket outside the store and the young female co worker greeted the lady in front of me and another after me, but once again ignored me. I was like "Wow Not cool". I've gone to several Daiso's in SoCal Chino Hills, Irvine, Hacienda Heights, both in Alhambra, and Fullerton were the employees made everyone feel welcome and were helpful. I guess this one is a bit bias allegedly acknowledging certain people who they deem worthy of shopping here.
