This new Daiso in Rancho Cucamonga (2nd in RC) is one of the largest I've visited in SoCal. It's almost as big as the ones in Japan!

Two Daiso locations in Rancho Cucamonga?! That's right! This second location is situated in the former Tuesday Morning shop in the Terra Vista Plaza off Foothill and Elm - or, next to Seafood City and Party City. Both locations have the typical stationery, gifting, dishware, kitchen gadgets, household items, plush toys, and other tchotchkes. While the first Daiso in RC served many guests, I am sure this second location will serve many more guests as it is larger in size and has more offerings. Prices as of November 2024 are $1.75 each item unless marked. The service today could've been better. I purchased over a dozen adorable ornaments (to be used for my gift-wrapping accessories) and the girl that rang me up just tossed them in the bag so carelessly! I've been to many other Daiso locations and at least they gently and considerately place them into the shopping bags. That is the one thing that the cashier could work on, which is to be more mindful of that. Also note: They do not take American Express cards here, even though the point-of-sale card reader includes an AMEX logo. Another note: Be careful crossing the street here. There are plenty of parking spaces but it gets congested during peak hours and weekends. Overall, I enjoy coming to Daiso to browse the cute office stationery and the newest seasonal items.

Who doesn't love Daiso?! Its new location seems larger than other locations. Tons of products.

To my surprise, Daiso is now located at Tierra Vista Town Center right next to Party City, Seafood City, Jollibee, and Red Ribbon Bakeshop. How cool is that! Now you can shop while you're waiting for your food order. I love perusing inside a Daiso. I never know what nifty things I may find. However, one thing that I'm always looking for are any cute and huggable plushie toys for my daughters. This location is quite big, spacious, and bright. Merchandises are similar to any other Daiso. I think it used to be a Tuesday Morning not 100% sure. Anyway, if you haven't been to this one, drop on by and check them out.

    Some fishing supplies

Prices remind me of dollar tree. Lots of little hobby areas. They have mini Lego like sets, fabrics, knitting, gardening and even fishing. I like their stationary area with the washi tapes and stickers. They have a few snacks but I usually go next door to seafood city for that.

Nice to have a Daiso closer to home! Very convenient and easily accessible location. Wide aisles, very clean store, a bunch of cute items! This could be trouble having it so close to home! My kids and I always enjoy going to the other Rancho Cucamonga location. I think we will frequent this one more!

    Halloween themed!

I'm so excited to have another Daiso in Rancho Cucamonga! If you're not familiar with Daiso, think of it as a Japanese dollar store where you can find affordable stationery, kitchenware, and home goods. This location is next to Party City in the Terra Vista plaza. There are price conversion charts around the store, which are helpful to calculate prices from Japanese yen to U.S. dollars. This location is fairly large. They currently have Halloween themed items such as stickers, gift bags, decor, and party supplies.

Little organizer bags these are great for travel as well (they have various sizes)

Both Cindy and Maddie continually go above and beyond in assisting customers with genuine care, patience, and professionalism. Their knowledge of products, upcoming sales, quality linens, and home essentials has been incredibly valuable to me personally. The problem wasn't the return denial. The problem was the customer service. The packaging was damaged while being handled by Target staff, manager Ian was dismissive and disrespectful, and security was standing nearby during what should have been a simple customer service conversation. My wife left feeling embarrassed and humiliated for doing nothing more than asking a question. It's amazing how a company can spend millions on branding and still make a paying customer feel like a criminal for trying to return an item. Target didn't lose this review because of a return policy. They earned it because of how they treated a customer.

I've shopped at this Target because of great frontline employees like Kristine, who apologized and…read moreprovided excellent service, and Joy, who had previously been kind and helpful. Experiences like those are the reason I felt comfortable shopping here and believed this store was part of my community. That trust was broken during a recent visit. While checking out, two other customers were arguing loudly in front of a child. I said one sentence to de-escalate and encourage them to separate. I was not involved in the dispute, did not raise my voice, and did not continue engaging. Other customers even stated that I was not part of the argument. Despite that, I was singled out and treated as the problem without anyone taking the time to ask what actually happened. When I raised my concerns, the store manager, Cody, was dismissive and condescending. He repeatedly told me to calm down and lower my voice even though I was not yelling. After I disclosed that I am part of the ADA community and explained that his manner of speaking was making me uncomfortable, he continued escalating instead of listening. I was publicly chastised, embarrassed, and ultimately told to leave while security stood by and did nothing. What hurt most is that I raised sincere concerns and the person in charge did not even take my name. He made it very clear that he had no interest in hearing what was important to me or understanding what I had experienced. There was no effort to help, no effort to de-escalate, and no effort to treat me with dignity. I left deeply distressed and did not feel safe returning to the store, even to address damaged items from my purchase. This was not a frontline employee issue. It was a failure of leadership. I want to feel safe and respected in my own community, and this experience made it clear that, in that moment, I was not. Very disappointing and heartbreaking experience.
