I arrived around 9:08 PM just to browse briefly, and within about five minutes an associate told me I needed to leave because the store was "closed" at 9:13. I didn't argue and simply continued looking for my boyfriend so we could head out. A few minutes later, around 9:18, I ran into the same associate again and was told once more that I needed to leave. Since the posted closing time is 9:30, I asked about it and was told they were closing early because the manager wanted to. At that point, the situation became frustrating. More than the early closing itself, it was the associate's tone and demeanor that left a bad impression. Clear communication and a more courteous approach would have made a big difference.

I was going through ALL of the skincare products and was losing hope when I found it! The Pretty Skin brand cleansing oil has been my go-to cleansing oil for the last 6 months and I found two of them in a brown box. They were a different type of cleansing oil but worked just as great as the Jeju Cica oil. While I was looking for this, I came across a few other Korean brand skincare that I've never heard of and looked them up on my phone and they were also highly rated and now appear in my TikTok algorithm as there are many live sales of these products. When I first got to the skincare section I kind of almost slipped and noticed on the ground someone had spilled hand soap all over the ground and the bottle was under a shoe rack. We notified one of the sales associates and they acted quickly and got someone to bring out the caution sign and also clean up the area. I was glad to see they were on top of things and weren't casually letting it go. I still prefer this location over the Ontario Mills location because it's less chaotic and they still have a great selection.

I actually liked this Walmart more than some others in the area especially the one in Baldwin Park or West Covina because it was so well-stocked and, dare I say, a bit cleaner. I gave it 4 stars because overall, the experience was great though, I do wish that their paper shopping bags had handles, because, come on, it's a bit of a struggle lugging them to the car. And while I was happy they accept tap payments, no Apple Pay so, you know, a little behind the times. Still, the cashier was super nice, and I grabbed everything I needed. The one thing that really threw me off was the checkout process. The cashier kept calling the next person in line even though the customer being helped hadn't fully cleared the area yet. You end up squeezing past someone who is still waiting on their receipt, and it creates this weird, awkward moment where nobody knows where to stand. It felt rushed and uncomfortable, and it's something they really need to fix because it makes the ending of the visit feel messy. The parking lot also gets a little sketch after sunset since the lighting isn't great, so I definitely prefer coming during the daytime. Overall, the store itself is good and I would shop here again, but the checkout flow and the nighttime parking vibe definitely need attention.

It's a Japanese discount store chain that has everything you may need ranging from crafting tools, stationary, tableware, toys, and unique snacks/drinks. Their pricing system is as follows: Items that are not marked cost $1.75. Items marked ¥150-¥165 are $2.25, ¥200-¥220 yen are $3.25, and so on.
