Sacramento Gateway has a Target and across the way is another big box store that is their competition but is further away and with the summer heat I think I'd rather not go that farther away. All on one main floor of shopping, So many departments such as food, greeting cards, books, kitchen, home decor, men's, women's and children's clothing, electronics, accessories, personal care, office supplies, snacks and more. Everything in store is organized, clean, with bright lighting. I've never seen so many locked up store shelves compared to other Target locations. Self-Checkout is the best way to go, be green and BYOB.

The best thing about my visit was my cashier Stefany M. , she was super friendly, which is so rare these days ! The best customer service I've had in a LONG time! While I was in line , I noticed something was wrong with the package of rhinestone handled make up brushes I was purchasing for a birthday gift , when I reached the counter and was greeted, I told her I was really disappointed.. She told me to hold on and she went over personally and looked in the area to try and find me another one ! That made me feel good , she took a little while to look around , she thought it was important that I leave the store happy and satisfied! She wasn't able to find another, however she opened the package I had and help me adjust the brushes so they were all uniformed , the package wasn't defective the brushes just needed to be readjusted. They carry Men's, Women's and Children's Clothing, few traveling accessories, home goods and Halloween decorations for the fall season. TJ MAXX can also be found all throughout the US Mainland, Alaska and Hawaii. Very popular store that is located in Sacramento Gateway. Very affordable and reasonable prices, friendly sales associates, and very clean fitting rooms. Friendly suggestion, give yourself extra time and be very patient because you won't always find what you're looking for. You may be lucky while sifting through every clothes rack.

Women's sections now feature more brands than before like Nine West, besides their own brands like Sonoma and Croft & Barrel, both of which also have men's clothes and shoes. Halloween items were out already, and the empty shelves were about to be filled with Christmas items. Hubby tried on some clothes in the fitting room and it was clean in there, self service. The check out was pretty quick and easy although there was a bit of a line. With coupons and Kohl's cash, shopping here can be reasonably good with discounts. But like everywhere else, retail prices are high. Overall, a nice store, they have maintained it pretty well. The parking lot is always packed which is one of cons with this location. This location used to have a McDonald's inside, but now it's a Subway. It also does not have a produce section as it is not a Super Walmart - they do offer a lot of other food items, including a decent freezer section. During our last visit, we came in looking for a CD player for my mom. We luckily found one plus we also took home some Fall/Halloween pajamas, plus other stuff that is currently slipping my mind.
