Nice big store with a lot of options, I think they raised their prices on something's I don't remember it being that expensive. Staff were friendly and the store was bright and clean. Had a lot of random stuff to look at and a good assortment of snacks.

Daiso fills in the gap for "dollar store" shopping left open with the demise of "The 99 Cent Only" stores in that you'll find a lot of staple items here for reasonable prices. You'll find some unique Japanese items, good gift items too! It's always one of the best shopping chains that's clean, organized and a good shopping experience

You can never go wrong going to a Daiso. This location in Temple City is very clean inside and staff are very friendly!! Ample parli g in large lot. This store has it all, and I love that they have everything from kitchen items to make-up, food, toys, small houseware items, Japanese candy, snacks, etc. They have the perfect stocking stuffers, so I bought a few items for the kids. Everything I've ever purchased at a Daiso has been quality. I highly recommend this store if you're looking for affordable stocking stuffers or just want to shop for random items. There's always something for everyone!!

Daiso is a franchise of 100-yen shops, similar to the Dollar Store in the U.S. They carry a wide range of products at an affordable price. The company started as a street vending shop in Japan and was called Yano Shoten before morphing into Daiso in 1977. Daiso now has locations in 25 countries. Apparently, everyone knows about Daiso except for me, so I decided to check it out. The store was well organized and stocked. Shelves were lined with cute merchandise & knick knacks from Japan. Of course there were some Sanrio & Disney characters. While browsing around I noticed everything from stationary, kitchenware, beauty items, clothing, and Japanese snacks. I can see why people like to shop here - most items are $1.75 and nothing is over $15.25. The prices are displayed in Yen but there are conversion charts throughout the store to help you figure out what things cost. The day of my visit I ran into fellow Yelper Aprille C. She told me how much she loves Daiso and frequents the store to pick up her favorite mango drink. I did find a few useful items. This location is in a large shopping plaza, so parking is plentiful.

Daiso has the cutest merchandise from Japan! I don't think anything here is over $15; easy to overspend here. I personally like the cute and practical Kitchen stuff to stationary items. My mom and daughter love it at Daiso; they usually fill up the basket cart and when it comes time to pay - there's NO sticker shock, lol. Employees are helpful at this location. The busy plaza usually has parking available.

This Daiso was clean and everything was organized. Daiso always seems to be pretty similar and I have so far always had good experiences here. Good place to pick up some cheap necessities.

Decent enough Daiso. There's a little ramp/stairs that goes to a raised level with some extra items there. Though they did have some Sanrio items, they barely had any San-X (Rilakkuma, Sumikko Gurashi, etc) and Disney items. There were some cute bear themed items but the actual stuffed animal section was a bit lacking too. Might be a supply shipment issue, but since there are so many other Daiso's in the area, this one is just okay.

I left my phone at daiso and they kept it safe for me thank you daiso workers! Also love this daiso. Very clean and has everything u can think of!

Daiso has numerous items that are made in Japan for $1.50. They also have items that are more than the aforementioned price, but the majority of the items are only $1.50. I have gone to numerous Daiso locations. My favorite one is in Los Angeles. My go to Daiso in San Gabriel Valley is this location when I want to avoid looking for parking at their Santa Anita mall location. I like this location, because it is larger than their Monterey Park stores. It is also easier to find parking here. I always go to a Daiso to purchase specific items. What do I purchase here? Where can you find a package of facial wipes that are made in Japan or Korea for $1.50? They also have the facial masks that are made in Korea. I like their nose charcoal packs that are made in Korea. They have the under eye masks that are made in China. I come here for their Japanese rice crackers, snacks and candies. All those Japanese candies like the Pocky sticks, gummies and rice paper candies are here. I like the gummies made by Pure. For those that like to cook, they have a nice selection of Japanese seasoning products. If you like Japanese curry, they sell a Japanese curry sauce that is made in Japan. I can't always find the brands or the exact items that I am looking for, but they usually have other options available.

The worker didn't explain that his card was only for FOOD. He had an exorbitant amount of credit, but it could only be used for food. At the check out, the white woman must have known the rule, because she bagged the food separately from the non-food. She shamed him for making a long line. Maybe had we been white-not me black and female and him Vietnamese and male-disabled or if I had had sex that time, then maybe she would have been respectful. I'm the daughter of a deceased veteran and my friend in the wheelchair, wounded from the war in Iraq. She should try harder. Oh, yes, she was the only one of the staff that was proficient in English. Had the business truly been accommodating, there would have been more space for wheelchairs and walkers. Also, a sitting area for elders and disabled would be there. Finally, common courtesy may go a long way.

If you are a fan of the Huntington Collection in Pasadena, you'll be sure to love the Bargain Box. I was blown away by the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. I used a dustpan to shovel snow (1st time shoveling snow + using a dustpan to do it) LOL... it wasn't too bad actually. One gray dustpan was $4.49 + tax... not too shabby and it's the sturdy type, too. I didn't check out any other items in the shop, but from what I can tell, they do have some nifty knick knacks, small appliances, general household stuff, etc. It doesn't have a lot of space for customers to walk around though... there are only 2 aisles really... the one closest to the entrance and the one on the other side of the wall LOL. There are lots of chairs, like office chairs, gaming chairs, dining chairs, bar stools, that you can get for a really, really, REALLY good price. I'm not gonna say they're the best quality, but I think it's perfect if you need to quickly furnish a place on a budget, ie - a college student needing a desk, chair, etc for a dorm or an apartment. I would say, try sitting on the stuff in store before you buy to test it's durable enough for your usage. You have to imagine that stuff this cheap is built as mail-order stuff for skinny Asians. I picked up a side table that's lasted the better part of a year, so far. I was SUPER tempted to get a fluffy cat tree for $20. Some cool selection of outdoor furniture. And even some random household things, like a clothes steamer. The thing is, I get the sense that their inventory is rather randomized. Sitting in the chairs and feeling the fabric of the furniture you can tell the quality is somewhat lower which is reflected in the prices. After walking around for a few minutes we decided to leave. The prices are good but the stuff just seems disposable. Like you just replace them every year.
