When I inquired more specifically, I learned that those were not "the Dubai chocolates." I appreciate the sales associate's honesty. They have a plethora of wall hangings. It is quite impressive the sayings they have on some of their wall hangings. If you are looking for some unique hearts for Valentine's day, Sugarboo is your go to place. The staff is southern hospitality friendly. They welcome any questions and if you are looking for something specifically, they will let you know exactly where it is in the store. This store is very affordable. Importantly, it has unique items that you will not find in every store you frequent.

From pillows to placemats to notepads to candles to sweaters and shirts and comforters and pet items. Oh my! This store has so many fun products that are great gift giving ideas at reasonable prices. I visited from California on a work trip and super bummed I didn't bring a bigger suitcase because I would've bought so many gifts to give. I believe this store is female owned, and have store locations throughout the south. Their staff is sweet and accommodating, and every gift comes with a beautiful gift wrapping that's complementary. They have plenty of parking as they are part of a mall and there is tons of parking stalls. Can't wait to come back and visit this store on my next work trip. It will definitely be on my list of things to do when I visit Austin, Texas and in the mood for shopping.

This Rack location has a decent selection. Most recently went shoe shopping with my boyfriend and he found exactly what he needed. Sometimes the store seems a little messy and chaotic with merchandise not displayed properly. It seems customers and employees just kind of let merchandise get tossed about. Other than that, good place to shop for better quality clothing and accessories at discounted prices.

The dress I originally planned to wear did not work out, so I ordered another one. It's technically floor length, but I'm 5'10" so it stops at the ankle instead of covering my feet. So now the shoes have to be stunning enough that no one will even notice the hemline. I ordered a pair on Amazon that were supposed to arrive Friday. Then I got the dreaded update that they were delayed to Saturday... at 10 PM. Well, that's not going to work. So I made the mad dash to Nordstrom Rack Saturday morning. I walked in with low expectations, fully prepared to hit multiple stores before finding anything close to what I needed. Instead, I found the most gorgeous Badgley Mischka crystal pumps. They're slightly bigger than my normal size, but that actually works in my favor. They're comfortable, my toes can move, and I can already tell I won't be plotting my escape from them halfway through the evening. While I was there I grabbed a strapless bra and even found a formal bag that works better than the clutch I originally planned to carry. Sibyl at checkout was the perfect finishing touch to my morning. Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely helpful. The whole experience felt like the Nordstrom culture of service I studied back in graduate school.

I stepped in with my girlfriend and as she was looking at all the socks with cute designs I was immediately distracted by their new Gripper Slipper socks (?). I always wear socks in my own apartment, but I can't get behind slippers just because I hate how loose they feel. These guys are like double socks? I bought a pair for a fair $50 and was sold on them that night when I wandered through my apartment. These past few days, I've been excited to go home just so I can wear them. But every so often we get some chilly weather and a taller sock is necessary. As I walked around to see all the styles, sport, and cashmere, and so on, I settled with half calf style. I did notice that 2 of the 3 I bought said men's, and the one I got said women's. But they look the same just a different color. Also I noticed they didn't have medium sizes in a lot of their styles. They were either small or large and X-large. The 3 I got were all mediums. Whether they're men's or women's, they were still the same size. Love my socks. I highly recommend Bombas socks. I little hug for your feet.

Spring has sprung, so winter items were on their way out, and even spring items were being pushed out for summer items. Clearance signs clearly marked the items, and most had a good variety of sizes from which to choose. The store was still in good order, despite the many displays showing clearance. My only complaint is that there were items that had no price on the tag. That's not helpful. Overall, shopping here was a positive experience.

I have shopped here multiple times, although they don't have many tall sizes in the store, which I often need. You can enter the building through an accessible ramp or steps, and it also has accessible doors to press for folks who need that accessibility. It is also awesome that some of the staff here still mask, which helps for a more accessible shopping space for many. The store also has small push carts (it could help to have a few more) to help with your shopping needs. There was quite a long line (it was a Saturday and the holidays), but the staff were doing their best to move folks through quickly. I have never seen so many staff on the registers. They also had a Help Needed sign on their door (in case anyone is looking for a new gig!). I wanted to give a shout out to Addison who helped me with my online return. One of the items had pulled threads in the sweater, but I had already cut off the tag. She not only helped me get it returned for me but also ordered a replacement to ship to my home for free. I needed a tall size. It rang up higher than the price online I saw earlier in the day, and she was able to price match for me. Such truly great service! I know once they can hire a few more folks to help their already excellent staff, the lines will be more speedy here. Thanks, Old Navy!
