To me, this still reflects poorly on the business and I would not recommend placing orders for delivery through them. Here's the situation: I placed my order through fromyouflowers.com and they arranged my order using Ary's Flowers. Ary's made the initial delivery attempt on time but the recipient was not home. I spoke to the person trying to make the delivery and they did their best to try to reach someone through the locked gate. They knocked repeatedly and yelled for someone but were unsuccessful. I was on the phone with them while they did this and I appreciated all the effort that was made up until that point. They told me I could pay a fee for redelivery and that they would text me the shop's information so I could arrange it. That never happened. I looked up the number they called from and found that it was linked to Ary's Flowers. I made repeated attempts to contact the shop but nobody ever answered, or it went straight to voicemail. I called fromyouflowers and they assured me they sent a message to the shop for redelivery and it would be delivered the next day. That never happened. I called again the following day and again they reassured me it would be delivered. That never happened. I called again a 3rd day, they confirmed it would be delivered and THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I had to ask the recipient to stay home to wait for the delivery for 3 days for nothing! Keep in mind, this arrangement came with a card so they knew they were sympathy flowers. I understand they made the initial delivery attempt, but just because it was unsuccessful once, doesn't mean the order is now disregarded and void. Especially when you spoke to me and knew I wanted to arrange a redelivery. You wasted maybe 1-2 hours of time creating the arrangement and trying to deliver (they're located about 10 minutes from the recipient) while inconveniencing the recipient and myself for 3 days! So unprofessional to not follow up and let someone know if you did not plan to complete the order. I tried to request that they hold the flowers at the shop for pick up but fromyouflowers said it was not allowed. Had Ary's flowers answered the phone, this could have been arranged directly. Had they let fromyouflowers know they didn't plan to redeliver, the recipient wouldn't have wasted 3 days waiting for them! Terrible customer service! At the end, fromyouflowers tried to offer a 20% refund and redelivery to which I said hell no. I cancelled the order and had to apologize to my grieving friend. 5 minutes is all it would've taken to fix this. Follow up and follow through! Do better.
