The sales lady was super helpful and told us if you are not in a big hurry we will be having a Labor Day sale, she offered to email us. She did too we were amazed. I called and spoke to her thanked her and asked about delivery how long would that take and was it in stock. She advised we would be charged 99.00 for delivery but we could come and get it that day. We decided we would pick it up so I gave her my cc so it would be ready for us. When we arrived at the store and talked to her I see a sold sign on the Floor Model of the sofa and she wants to know if we just want to go out the front door. WHAT???? I never asked to buy the floor model I want a new sofa. And who assumes a customer wants a used sofa???Scotie and I step out to discuss and she comes out to say that she just found out they can no longer order that model. So I then check their website find the sofa same price with free delivery. I go back into the store and ask why can I get this from your website but you can't order it and the delivery is free. The manager responds and says there are only floor models left that's what they would ship you.Even more stunned by this nugget of information. I then ask where does it say this is a floor model? This question was met with a blank stare from all 3 of them, like I'm the crazy person. I said you can't sell used furniture as new without telling the customer. No response. Apologies from Angela but nothing from the manager. I did give Angela the benefit of doubt she could have misunderstood... I guess?. To her credit she took accountability and she was very apologetic. but common sense says people don't go to a furniture store to buy used furniture. One more time I say if I buy a floor model it should be my choice not yours this is very dishonest. And a floor model should have a way bigger discount than 500.00. Nothing no response except from Angela that they may have to note that in the future on the website. I'm like well what about you were going to charge for delivery...the manager says well they put it on a pallette and deliver it that way...again missing the point that they were going to charge me 99.00 for delivery and of an undisclosed used sofa that was eligible for free delivery. We live a whole 4.5 miles from the store and would have charged me 99.00 delivery thats free on their Website. We told friends about this place encouraged them to go check it out...Im so embarrassed about that and trust me we will correct that!!! The only solution offered to me is a refund which I agreed was necessary as in principle we wont support unethical businesses. This company doesnt deserve our business or hard earned money. We were so stunned by this unethical practice and zero attempt for customer service. Buyer beware you don't know what you will get here but based on our experience you won't get honesty or customer service and possibly won't get new furniture.

The quality of the furniture and the painting is A+! They are beach themed, but could probably handle any scene you wanted. You will have to check out the photos I uploaded to see what I mean. This is not a fancy store by any means and when you walk in, you know you are in one of the local gems of the beaches. Concrete floors, not an open space to be found and the sound of saws, sanders, compressors and paint guns vibrating in the background. Another thing I love about these guys is that even though they have their hours posted. If you are coming in later in the afternoon, call first, they may have closed up early and went surfing or golfing. Now that's beach living!

So we returned to Palm Casual two and a half years ago to look for new outdoor chairs for our newly build home. We purchased 4 vinyl wicker chairs and 2 ottomans with cushions. This chair and ottoman set was gray in color and came with very nicely sewn cushions. The chairs were also swivel rockers. They came with a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer, a north Carolina Outdoor furniture company. I don't remember the exact name. We loved the chairs and they fit very well in our new outside covered porch on the river in south Georgia. Unfortunately, after 2 years of use they began to crack and fall apart. They were only in sunlight for an hour or two a day, never full sun, We also would move them inside when bad storms were predicted. I called the manufacturer first and was told that the company we purchased them from would be responsible for the warranty. I then called Palm Casual in Jacksonville to report the problems and sent them pictures of the damage. They responded quickly and were glad to help us with the situation. We drove down expecting to defend ourselves to get them replaced. But to our surprise we were met with smiles and a great helpful attitude from Mike, the owner. He was very understanding and concerned about our situation. He told us to pick out new chairs and ottomans and cushions and he would take care of the warranty with the manufacturer. He did say that there had been other customers that bought the same brand and color wicker chairs like ours and had similar problems. We actually picked out slightly more expensive replacements but he just said don't worry about it we will take care of the difference in price. We were in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes with new chairs on order at no cost to us and no haggling or stress! Our new chairs were delivered to us and the old ones taken away in about 6 weeks by two great delivery guys. We were really happily surprised and relieved how our situation was handled by Mike and his team at Palm Casual! We have been enjoying our new chairs, ottomans and cushions for several weeks now.
