if i can leave a 0 star i would. a year ago, i got a dress there and the lady was very nice so i recommended this store to people close to me. we went back to the store and nothing like a year ago the lady didn't make us feel welcome and told us that we could look at some dresses because they were already sold (but in a rude way) mind you there was no sign that said sold. i fell in love with a dress and i was willing to buy it but i told her that if that was the only color that the dress came. she said no and i told her can i see the magazine and she didn't even bother to show it. i left supper disappointed and upset. i guess she was very annoyed with all her clients coming in the store. i will never be coming back to this store. read more

It's disappointing to see all of the negative reviews, they almost scared me into not going at all. Luckily we took a chance after seeing the large selection of beautiful gowns on TikTok, and we had a great experience at Dalia's Boutique. My daughter is extremely picky, the last school dance we shopped for we went to at least 6 stores before she found something. This time, we were struggling to find something perfect for senior ball. We did a lot of online browsing, Dalia's was the first and only store we went to. My daughter fell in love with a dress in the first few minutes we walked in. The prom dresses were between $200-400 which is extremely reasonable, and the owner does FREE alterations (hemming is an additional fee). My daughter is really small and her dress needed a lot taken in, Dalia did an amazing job at the alterations and it fit literally like a glove AND dress was ready in a week. You literally cannot beat this kind of dress quality and service. They were very busy each time we came in, the customer service is good but you have to have fair expectations with the traffic they have in the store and it is a small family owned business, you aren't going to get a ton of personalized time with all of the customers they have to serve. I've been to A LOT of dress shops in and around Sacramento area looking for the perfect quince dress for my daughter (dress size 10/12) The owner of Dalia's was rude. Acted like she didn't want my daughter to try on dresses. Said my daughter couldn't try on something because she might ruin it because of her size. Told my daughter that the size wouldn't work while she's putting it on her. Many shop owners and workers have let my daughter try on whatever she wanted so that she could see the style on herself, knowing that the size would be wrong and we'd just order the correct size later if she liked the dress. This lady didn't need to address my daughter's size like that. So disrespectful and inconsiderate. Idk how she has a business acting like that. read more

My sister had two dresses that she was indecisive about and we were trying to see which one she liked more when the owner comes and snatches them from our hands. I was shocked and let her know we were thinking of buying them and she returned them. While we were checking out she told us her store was the BEST around and no one could compete with it. The dress was overpriced and she didn't let us know beforehand there was no return policy. We walked out of the store feeling very defeated and was not a fun experience at all. I was in the store earlier today lookin for outfits for me and my partner for an upcoming event when I saw this middle-aged woman, who I assumed to be the owner, come up to these young ladies--high school age--and aggressively grabbed the dresses they had in their hands away from them, telling them, and I quote: "You're only allowed to try things on that are your size." She then rolled her eyes and left with the dresses. This is no way to treat clients, especially not ones of such a young age! Me and my partner left right after. Wasn't out looking for a new dress as I already had one but instead looking for shoes/ accessories. Instead I found the most beautiful dusty blue dress with silver sequins. The shop owner and a male there both encouraged me to try it on. It was a perfect fit! The owner offered to alter it if I needed but all I had to do was tighten it and get some tall heels. The customer service was nice and welcoming. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is because the string that looped and laced at the back is fraying already! I haven't worn it outside of the shop or my house and that's the only part of the dress that is 'messed up'. I'm sure if u had noticed and brought it up before I bought it, they would have accommodated somehow but at the same time, off the rack should be in perfect condition. read more

I haven't actually seen the boutique. On two separate occasions, we drove 40 minutes to get there, but the store was closed. According to its Yelp page, the store is open at 11:00 am. The first time we tried, there was a handwritten note stating they were going to be close only that day. Today, I arrived there at exactly 11, and the note said they open at 12 on Tuesday, so I waited around an hour and 15 minutes. Nothing! Nobody ever answers the phone. A business that doesn't value its potential customers time, in my opinion, doesn't understand the first thing about running a business. read more

Things that I loved : if she sells you a dress she won't sell it to anyone else attending that event! No duplicates. Also she constantly gets new catalogues that have amazing dresses. She measures you exactly to the dress. But shes brutally honest and i think thats what i needed. The customer service here is amazing. My sister and I were greeted at the door and provided immediate assistance. We knew what we were looking for and after showing a photo of what we wanted we were provided with 2 similar dresses. We were instructed to take our time and never once rushed out of the store. They informed us that dresses not in stock based on sizing would take up to 1 week to be delivered. After my sister made her selection, I paid in full and was given instructions that I would be notified once the dress was delivered. The price point here is amazing. One of the cheapest around this area. The following morning I was informed that the company producing the dress did not have stock availability. We immediately went back to the store to try on more dresses. Again, we were never rushed or forced to make a decision. The owner re-assured us a full refund if we could not find anything in the store to our satisfaction. After selecting dresses to try on, the fitting room was occupied so we instead opted to use the restroom. The restroom was equipped with a full body mirror and a coat rack to hang belongings and dresses. Of course, we could have waited for the dressing room. But that was my choice to make. My sister had a hard time making a decision as she had her mind set on a specific dress. However, the owner made great suggestions, picked out dresses that were equivalent to her liking and truly tried her best to keep an unhappy teenager engaged and satisfied in the selection process. I asked her if she could still see us since clearly it was advertised as closing at 6pm, a male then stepped in and very rudely said that we were wrong! Visited this boutique for my daughters ball gown and we're really impressed! Huge selection of dresses and great price point. The dresses look so much better on so make sure you don't make judgments until the dress is on. We've purchased from high end boutiques and I can say the service & selection here is great. The owner and her daughter are both very cheerful, friendly and helpful. We started our dress shopping journey much earlier so it's not as crowded. Ball isn't until March, April and we've selected a dress in January so you may want to shop early if you want a wider selection and better service. I'm sure they get very busy and it'll be hard to expect the owner to give you all her attention. We did custom order the dress for accurate fitting. It took 3 short days for the dress to arrive. They do provide alterations. Shoes & jewelry are available as well. There's two fitting rooms so I'd highly suggest to visit during the weekdays and in the earlier months. The first and last time at this boutique. I was shopping for a prom dress for my daughter and she found one she liked. I was quoted $220 by a staff member. After trying on the dress, The owner walked by and took it to the front. As we were walking behind her , she spoke spanish to the employee behind the desk and she told me the total was $245. I cannot say enough about Dalia's. My daughter had prom tonight and had not found a dress as of 5 days ago and was out of town so we could not try on dresses. I came in to see what they had in stock that we might be able to purchase off the rack but did not find the one she wanted. The owner immediately showed me some catalogs with the style I liked and said if I got her my daughter's measurements first thing Monday morning she could have the dress rushed and it would arrive by Thursday. I went ahead and ordered a dress and hoped for the best, as prom was Friday. Come Thursday she sent me a text to let me know the dress came in. My daughter went by after school, tried it on and loved it but it needed alterations because of her height. The owner pinned the dress for alterations and told us to come back the next morning and it would be ready for her prom tonight. Today was prom and I was able to pick up her dress that fit like perfection. I have to disagree with the other reviews because these ladies were AWESOME and I told everyone about our great experience at pictures tonight. I would just like to start off by saying the owner has really bad customer service i bought a $300 dress and when I was at senior ball my dress begun to fall apart because it was altered from a medium to a small . Now I wasn't going to buy the dress at first but she explained to me she can alter it for me and have it fitted to my size she insisted to I was fine with it . Now the day after I took the dress back to the store and began to explain to her my dress fell apart while I was at prom she told me that I shouldn't have bought it and there's nothing she could do , and that my dress wasn't meant to dance here I wouldn't suggest buying anything from here honestly . This place is absolutely wonderful! We reserved tuxedos for my husband and his groomsmen as well as a few other friend's wedding and the process was extremely easy. She has a variety of colors, styles, and even sizes. Dalia is very accommodating and very easy to place orders with. I recommend this place to anyone who is on a budget especially with tuxedo rentals. She also has dresses to purchase for mothers, prom, quince, and formal wear. I would have gotten my bridesmaids dresses here but it was too late because we had already ordered from another company. Very rude customer service. Went in looking for a prom dress for my daughter. When I enquired about the fitting room, she said there was one but was occupied to use the bathroom. Really???. Well we waited for the fitting room to become available. It states 4 dresses is the limit and we had 4. My daughter was not done trying on dresses when we were told we were taking to long and there were other people waiting. She also included that a dress my daughter was picking out would not fit. Clearly we knew that but she had said of we found a dress, she could order it in her size which is what we were doing, grabbing a dress to see if it came In her size. My mother suggested to us we go elsewhere since she couldn't try on dresses and we're being told to hurry since others were waiting, as we had to. As we were walking out, the owner yelled out we should go elsewhere if we wanted to pay more. Well its not that one wants to pay more, but we don't want to pay for something that won't fit and is non returnable either. First and last time we go there. read more

I came here twice looking for a dress for my senior ball. All of the dresses are wrapped in plastic bags which is tiring after a while. I do like how the dresses are arranged my color on the left wall but the customer service here was bad. I looked around some bit the second time I came in and then I asked the woman at the counter if she had any mermaid dresses but she automatically said to go look in the catalog and continued on her phone.
