We went to their Glamour Gowns location around the corner from this store. 3/14: We ordered a dress in store. They promised it would arrive in a week to a week and a half. 3/30: after hearing nothing , I went to their store to ask about the dress. They were unable to find that it was ever ordered. They let me know they would speak to their manager. They texted me the same day to let me know it would be in on Thursday (4/2). 4/3: on Friday I texted to find out if the dress had come in on Thursday. They assured me I could come pick it up later in the day. Then they sent a follow up text message saying that it wasn't in, but it would be there Monday (4/6) or Tuesday (4/7). 4/7: I texted to see what the status of the dress was. The owner called me and let me know that it would be in on Thursday. Prom is Saturday. I asked for a refund since prom is in a couple days and we have no dress, and that every other deadline had been missed. The owner refused saying she would only give me a refund if the dress did not get here in time for prom. She indicated that the prior dates I was given were by staff that did not have authority to give dates. She also indicated they did not give refunds, but I reminded her that she has my money and I have no dress. She still refused to refund me. I let her know I would call my bank to reverse the charges. She ended the call by telling me that she would reach out on Thursday to let me know I could pick up my dress. Update: 4/9: the owner texted me at 3:25pm letting me know the dress was available for pick up and offered to discount a third of the cost. I reiterated my request for a full refund since the transaction wasn't available to be completed until a day and a half before prom and in that time we had to get a new dress. I sent her a recap of the timeline and she responded saying "I completely understand and you're right, I would plead my case, but in the event to not further inconvenience you, we will just settle at a refund. Please provide the last four digits of the card used." I'm glad this is concluded and VERY glad to have my money back. read more

I went to find a dress for a banquet and the lady who helped me was super sweet. They had many different silhouettes to try from as well as the colors. They are also very organized, they have the dresses separated by colors and then by prices so you can find your style in your budget. They are priced pretty decently at less than $300 or $300+ depending on your event. She also helped me find my size and put some dresses on since some of them had to be tied or zipped up in the back. I recommend going on the weekdays if possible as they say weekends can have about 70 girls in there looking for prom season. The parking was a bit difficult as it's just the front row to park in so I had to loop around a bit. The sizes of the dresses do range, but because it's a small boutique, you may not find your desired style in your size. There's also the issue that while the sizes of the dresses go up, the cups for the dresses with the built in bra stay at cups B or A, so while the rest of you fit, the upper parts may not. These would require alterations. But otherwise, the styles are absolutely beautiful and it's worth a look in read more

Very disappointed with the lack of service and professionalism at this store. I came in excited to find my prom dress, but the woman working there was dismissive and made no effort to help me. What stood out most was the clear difference in how I was treated compared to a white girl and her mom who walked in after me, the employee immediately became attentive and helpful with them. Meanwhile, I received no assistance while trying on dresses and felt overlooked. The contrast in treatment was uncomfortable and felt discriminatory. As I said from my review last year, I said that I've been coming to this place for years to get prom dresses. I returned once again this year after my friends sister got her dress here last year. Walked in expecting to be overwhelmed with beautiful dresses and service considering the store was empty. However it was quite the opposite. The quality of the dresses seemed incredibly low from last year despite the $500+ price tags. On top of that the lady was paying more attention to the maintenance men/coworkers than us a returning customer. Very hesitant to help us with anything, including zipping up my friends sisters dress while I was in bathroom, she even said "I'm going to need two hands" and walked away. Regardless of them being floor samples, the dresses were snagged, had pilling, and felt cheap despite the prices seeming to be raised. I purchased my wedding dress from this location. I must say that Yolanda was great. She's very knowledgeable in the dresses she has available and she actually knew exactly what I was lookin for when I had came into her shop looking for my dress. Though it needed to be ordered the turn around time was perfect. I ended up purchasing my bridesmaids dresses from her as well. The only reason I did not give a five star review was Yolanda was away and Stephanie was covering the shop while she was away. When I had came in to try my dress on and also have my bridesmaids try on a few dresses we felt Stephanie was very short with us and not very helpful. The service you receive from Yolanda is much more professional. I almost considered going elsewhere to purchase our bridesmaids just because of how unhelpful Stephanie was. But on the other hand we wanted to do business with a smaller boutique and since I fell in love with my dress at this boutique we decided we would go ahead and proceed with purchasing all dresses. Last year I started my search for a wedding dress. At first I went to Davids bridal and tried on a couple "real" wedding dresses. They all seemed to be very bulky , heavy and expensive. After that, my friend took me to haute house couture. Haute house had a lot of dresses as well. I tried on a couple wedding dresses there too and I realized I'm not a wedding dress type. My friend spotted a beautiful gown... grabbed it.. and I tried it on. It was a size 6 and I could not close the back, but I fell in love. Thankfully Yolanda, the owner was able to order the dress for me from the Jovani catalog. I ordered a size 8 and went on my way. The dress came in and I went down to try it on. The only concern was the difference in the amount of fabric at the bottom of the dress going from a size 6 to a size 8. It was very heavy and dragging all over the floor. Yolanda directed me to her alteration lady. Anna, the alteration lady cut off the bottom of the dress to my liking. Before the final alteration, I noticed a small hole in the mesh which I pointed out to Anna. She safety pinned it and said she would fix it. On my wedding day I put the dress on and surprise! The safety pin was still on the dress and so was the hole .. unsatisfied with that experience, I didn't let it ruin my wedding day. But it would have been nice if it had been repaired considering how much fabric was removed, there had to be extra laying around to fix this .. Bottom line is I was more than happy with my dress and the service I received from the owner of haute house couture!! I was so impressed with their inventory for different events like Gala's and Prom. Drove 2 hours from Reno to go prom dress shopping here for the first time because I've seen it online. There was very little selection on the racks and when I found a couple dresses the sweetest worker Sophia helped me get a dressing room and put the dresses in there for me. I went in and there was water leaking from the roof onto me while I was trying dresses on. There was no mirror in the fitting room so you have to come out and look in the mirror which seems common so it wasn't a big deal but there was around 20 people in front of the mirrors so it was not a good shopping experience overall. When I came out I handed the dresses to the owner named Yolanda who was EXTREMELY rude. I gave her the dresses and said "I'm sorry they didn't really fit me and this one kind of fit but I felt like it was a little to long." She looks me up and down and goes "They're all like that, you have to get them hemmed," and rolled her eyes then scoffed and said, "Are you done with your fitting room?" Some people don't have money to spend 200 dollars to get a dress hemmed on top of the 400 average price of the dress. Be more mindful of people who have all had different experiences in life and haven't had the chance to go prom shopping! read more

The owner Yolanda and her staff were very helpful and patient with my daughter and I while we scavenged through (what felt like) thousands of dresses for her junior prom. Yolanda carries a large selection of JOVANI dresses ANNND.... She gave me a nice little discount because I purchased her floor sample. I appreciate that Yolanda wasn't pushy and allowed my daughter and I to take as much time as we needed (1 week to be exact) to make our final decision. She even gave us her cell number! My only recommendation for this boutique would be to expand a little to allot space for bigger fitting rooms. It would have also been nice to shop for dresses in a "showroom-like" atmosphere allowing our prom queens to model the dresses for us moms. Not much room for that... If you are a NORMAL sized girl don't waste your time coming here. There are several reasons why this "boutique" receives 1 star. For starters there was no "welcome in", "are you finding everything okay", "do you need any help" NONE. I walked in and was bombarded in a small space with atleast 20 people and many dresses. After putting my name on the list (and waiting at least an hour or longer) I was set to finally get a chance in the dressing room where you are SUPPOSED to be helped and sized. NOPE yoU guessed it didn't recieve any help. Was only told which room to go to. Mind you every other girl was getting helped not intentionally trying to pull the race card but I do believe me not wearing a size 1 or 2 and additionally being mixed was definitely a factor. Must I add they only carry size 1-4 in the store. You may find a 6 or 8 but it is hard to find and rare. If you can fit in thE small size to get an idea you must order it and when you order it you must buy it which I feel isn't fair considering I don't know the exact fit and if getting a bigger size will affect how it will later look. And in addition when I was going to the front counter to ask a quick question about a dress was ignored. I know she seen me because when I got fed up with waiting she said "thank you" overall this store needs major improvement. read more
