Stopped for a snack before my appointment nearby (it's conveniently located close to the VGH complex). Design is modern and clean, lots of small plants scattered around. In addition to the cafe food, they have some packaged snacks, coffee paraphernalia, and cards for sale. Free wifi, some tables are designated laptop-free. My food was very good! I got a berry scone and a cinnamon dolce latte. The scone was super soft with bits of caramelization on the outside from the fruit, and still a little warm. The latte was also really nice; I got decaf after accidentally getting without and trying a sip of it before checking my receipt and realizing it wasn't decaf, and I thought the decaf version was actually better because the darker roast balanced better with the cinnamon dolce syrup. It was good coffee, "toasty" but not bitter. The service was good, the one (older) barista was really nice. She seemed really happy to be there making coffee and was totally apologetic when I asked if I could have my latte replaced with a decaf because the other barista didn't catch it when I ordered. I would appreciate it if they asked "for here or to go" instead of assuming "to go"; the barista taking my order just grabbed a disposable cup and was going to start writing on it as soon as I ordered, before I had the chance to say "for here". read more

3.5/5 This cafe has a good amount of seating and natural lighting. They have many food options as well a bit pricey but it makes sense during these times. I got their egg bite which was on the salty side. I also ordered the brown sugar oat latte iced which was pretty tasty and not too sweet. Overall a decent spot on W Broadway. Second time here and quite impressed. They have a range of goodies, with plenty Vegan options. The best feature about Dalina is they have a lot of ready made sandwiches and beverages for someone on the go. Theirs a lot of construction outside unfortunately at the moment but I think this hidden gem is an essential part of the Broadway business community. Great place for lunches. They even have packaged smoothie cups, that you can take home and blend on your own. They look tasty. read more

I stopped by Dalina to get my day going with a cappuccino and I received some beautiful yummy latte art! I decided to enjoy it outside on their small patio and thought that this is a nice metaphor... it's not only beautiful outside, but it's also beautiful inside. The clean chic environment inside is the perfect place to do some work (after Covid restrictions) or catch up with a friend over a drink and a bite to eat. I really like all the food options whether it's something bigger to have as meal or a little sweet snack. They also have essential grocery items that would be super convenient if you live in the area or if it's on your way home. And the staff.. they're PHENOMENAL! I love Dalina's first location in Chinatown, so I was really excited to visit their new location on Broadway. This location is smaller than their Chinatown counterpart, but nonetheless still serves up the same delicious coffee and treats. This location unfortunately doesn't have a deli with healthy dishes, but they do have an assortment of vegan treats, bowls, and sandwiches. I opted for the macro bowl this time around which had quinoa, sweet potatoes, beets, and greens. I love Dalina's sweet potatoes, so I scarfed that down really quickly. The bowl was the perfect size and very filling. To drink I got their oat milk latte. I'm usually an almond milk or coconut milk kinda gal, but I've been drinking a lot of oat milk lately and was really happy to see that Dalina serves and carries oat milk. Delicious, delicious, delicious! I love their white minamilistic decor and the pop of colour that the chairs give to the cafe. I also love that they have a small little grocery (similar to their Chinatown location, but smaller) which carries local businesses' products. Always awesome to see local supporting local. I'm on Broadway often for work meetings, so this location will definitely be making it on my regular coffee shop rotation. read more

First day open to general public, lots of foot traffic as many people came to check it out. Several small tables for people to setup a laptop, some smaller tables for standing room only. Can get pretty loud in there as people voices echo so avoid it you need a quiet workspace The staff are super cheerful, and they have things really smoothly considering it's their first day open! I enjoyed my cacao turmeric soy latte immensely, friends' lavender London fog was too sweet for my tastes (but has a very delicious lavender bergamot earl grey flavor to it) and hibiscus ginger kombucha was really good. We shared a regular croissant, pretty good for North America (and one of the top on the list for Vancouver) read more

I love this cute coffee place near my work. If you come before 830 they have a morning special for any drink + pastry for $5! What a steal! I came here at least 4x already since a co-worker told me about this place. Their chai latte is delicious! And they have a wife range of pastry & to-go food selections. Their almond croissant is just amazing - Buttery, flaky, and tons of almond filling! The matcha canoli had lots of filling and it was actually crunchy and not moist.their mushroom and brie breakfast wrap was filled to the brim with ingredients and tasted fresh and good! Their London fog, however, was a let down - it was diluted Their decor is very minimalist and they have a self serve water station that also has a soda-water tap!! How fancy is that? Only negative about my visit was that the cashier didn't ask if I was eating in or taking out and presented my bun in a take away container and a paper cup for my coffee. Finally, a decent coffee shop on this block. Dalina has a very clean, sleek aesthetic - white tiles with high ceilings and warm wood panelling. The place is already bustling at 10am in the morning!!! Service is quite fast considering this is the first few launch days. I expect the service could only get better once everyone is familiarize with the environment. They have an extensive menu: coffees, lattes, non-dairy alternatives, baked goods, soup, salads, lunch/breakfast items, and cute non-food items like plants and tumblers (in case you forgot about your coworker's birthday....)! We tried their turmeric latte (not too spicy), lavender London fog (heavenley combo), kumbucha (decent) and plain croissant (decently buttery). Overall, we enjoyed our experience. I do wish they asked whether we're having our drinks in house or to go, because they still served us in paper cups even though I reminded them to use cups. Great little space for a coffee and some food. The flow seems a little confusing if you arrive when it's busy. Seems like it should be running from the door, past the displays and then the till, but during my visit, myself included we ended up bypassing the displays as people were trying to figure out what to eat. I did a flat white, which I am happy to say came with 3 shots in a 16oz. The shots seemed a little short, they might have pulled them a little off time. Also went in for a sour cream glazed doughnut (they may have called it an old fashioned doughnut). Definitely had been sitting for a while, but still same day fresh. Plenty of food options available from snacks to light meals, and they have a small liquor menu too. Service was great. Friendly and welcoming with a warm smile even under the mask. Seating is limited, so you might be taking your order to go, but I assume they setup a patio, or maybe it's wishful thinking, when the weather is better. Hopefully this is a place that continues to be successful. It seems to be popular with the hospital crowd. Backed by the Bosa family, there is a lot of expertise to keep things great. Was hungry and looking for a good sandwich in the area. Tried the turkey caponata and it was truly the worst sandwich I have ever had. It was very saucy and tasted like 1/2 bottle of mayonnaise had been used which overpowered the couple thin slices of turkey. I could only take a couple of bites. What a waste of $11! read more

Listen, I like this place and the alternative lattes however the turmeric tea is beyond spicy, prepare for explosive diarrhea.

I went in there twice. The place looked ultra clean and hip but dang there was no food. So I thought maybe it was because they were new and just trying to figure out how much to make for the customer flow so we came back again today and again the coolers were pretty empty. There was about three diff types of meals to choose from which was better from the last time and they looked pretty good but not anything we wanted. Maybe we will try again another time and hopefully get them on a day when they aren't sold out of food and the coolers aren't empty? Maybe that's a good thing? I won't knock them as it is clean inside and from what I saw they had seemed decent. Deja Brew across the street isn't as nice inside or as trendy but the food is truly amazing. read more

I really want to love Dalina! They are very cute and are so close to my office. Unfortunately they are a bit underwhelming, the music is quite loud and the lattes have no artistic appeal despite their price point being equal to more established cafes (platform 7 etc).
