Food was not good for an Italian restaurant. It made Olive Garden look decent! Service was horrible- we should've eaten pizza from a small stand. Don't recommend this place at all. We only ate there because it was the only place open on a Sunday afternoon and we were hungry. Very disappointed

Cute little spot right on the canal. Drinks and snacks as the cute gondolas and local boats pass by. The staff seemed pleased to seat us right away and the fast service helped us keep up with our busy day. Nice break from the masses. Great to give the feet a brake as well!

Not bad, not great, but good food at decent prices. There is some outdoor seating by the canal, and a small air conditioned section inside. We chose the AC, but it was very cramped and people had to push past us to get in/out. They also brought out one entree about 15 minutes before the second, and the staff was not the most attentive. The food however was very tasty! I got the shrimp salad and my friend went for the pizza.

I have to admit, this place gave us the best meal in Venice. Granted, we didn't look very hard for really good food while we were there so it might not be hard to find better, but what we did get there was quite delicious and that if you are on the Murano Island in Venice, you really should go and order it - this would be their seafood spaghetti. For 30 EUR for two people, it's not cheap, but they don't cheap out on the seafood (shrimps, crayfish, squid, mussels, clams, and RAZOR CLAM). I'm not sure if it's the pan that's deceiving or the food is that good, but when the pan came, we thought that there was no way we could finish it, except not only did we finish it, we cleaned every bit up and wiped it clean with bread, offering the last bite to each other but both secretly hoping the other person would say no. They do charge a cover fee of 2 EUR per person on top of a 12% automatic gratuity, so if you sit down, don't ask for water, just order the seafood dish, you would walk away with a 34+4.08 (38.08) EUR bill. If you are like us, who said no to water but got 3 glasses of wine (in addition our neighbour table kindly offered the extra wine in their bottle or else that wouldn't have been enough), you'd end up with a 51.52 EUR bill. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? My boyfriend thinks the pasta was better than any paella he had in Barcelona. Myself? I wouldn't make that comparison. But if you are okay with forking out the cash on a sunny afternoon and sit next to a canal, I would totally go for it.

Tuna, salmon, swordfish carpaccio. Surprisingly, the swordfish gravlax was the star!

Best all-around meal we've had in Venice so far. The menu is very extensive, which was welcome after several days of the same old fare. The restaurant is patroned by locals and tourists alike, so they're doing something right. We ate outside, which is always nice, and had a seafood-centric feast: mantis shrimp (ok), three-fish carpaccio (fantastic!), sea bass baked in Salt (very moist and filleted tableside), and a pasta sampler with pumpkin ravioli, seafood gnocchi and seafood lasagna (would have been good if it were warmer), as well as the bottle of house wine. All of that, with cover, for a little over 70 Euros! Our server was pleasant and attentive, and brought us a complimentary granita (iced lemon drink) as an aperitif. If we lived in Murano, or even in Venice, we would go here on a weekly basis.

Bad service, rude staff. Food is really average. The problem is that this is the only restaurant open in Murano island at night (I mean after 6:30pm till like 9-10). You better take a water bus and go to main Venezia island, there are plenty of good places there (book in advance though).

Fiesta Pizza: Zucca-sauce with gorgonzola and prosciutto, pomodorini and rucola

This place has all the trappings, looks and feels of a tourist trap, and by most standards it probably is one, but we had a blast here anyway. Seated just off the canal in the spring sunshine, we enjoyed two of the best pizza's we've ever had, one of whom was a great pizza bianca with a pumpkin ('Zucca') sauce. Topped up with a decent house Valpolicella, and we got good pizza's, wine, sunshine and Murano atmosphere for only 38 €. Definitely value-for-money.

Venice is great,…read morebut getting out of the crowd was such a relief at the end of the day, and part of the wonder of Murano is Versus Meridianem! This quaint, understated INCREDIBLE restaurant is located on the water, at the end of a quiet street in a quiet part of town on this quiet tranquil island. This whole island feels local, not touristy. And that is probably because it is local. This is where a lot of the locals live. And that feeling extends into this restaurant. The entire outdoor courtyard when we arrived was filled with a large family, who must've been from the island, as there was about 40 of them. It looked like the matrons birthday. Celebrating. Eating, laughing and dancing. Drinking wine of course. I wanted to join them! We had reservations and were seated inside at the window, so we could watch the sunset. It was perfect, from the appetizers, to the entrees and wine. I ate more than my share and drank so much incredible wine I was glad we were walking only a short distance back to the hotel. When we left over an hour later, the family in the courtyard was still there. I regret not bringing over a bottle of wine and joining them! I remember loving every morsel I ate and the wine wasn't extravagant, but it was excellent! Definitely worth the boat ride if you're staying in Venice. If you're on Murano, I'm jealous, I wish I was there! Definitely get a table.

It has big and pretty amazing Murano glass chandeliers which are the perfect center piece of the dining room. The huge floor to ceiling windows make it nice and bright. I had the vegetable soup which was delicious and did my unsettled stomach a world of good. Hubby had the prongs and zucchini pesto pasta (which he shared with me) Oh lord, it was so good! And we shared a prosciutto ham pizza. It was one of rhw best I have had on this trip. Because I was a little queasy for some reason, I didn't have any wine but they have a great variety. They weren't too busy, which I didn't get because the view alone is worth it, and their prices are very comparable to everywhere else we have been. Service is typical Italian, they take your order, ring it and leave you alone until you are ready. Great place!

Location is very nice, right at a pretty trendy canal, filled with lots of restaurants and bars. Right next to is an excellent gelato place. It's quite small inside with few tables, many just hang around outside - and why not, the location at the canale is a pretty spot. We did manage though to get some seats inside. Our Bulldog was very welcome here as well. The various cicchetti are presented at the counter. There are some classics of course, but also some very innovative creations. We went for the latter. There was gorgonzola with strawberry, radicchio with brie cheese, pesto topped with an anchovie and mushrooms, mashed fava beans with pulp and mashed fava with goats cheese and a cherry. All really wonderful combinations. Our favorite were the radicchio and the fava/goat cheese. Surely something to recreate back home. Staff was very friendly, we felt very welcome here. And instead of focussing on Aperol, Select and Prosecco, it's mostly about white and red wine here. And they have an excellent selection of wine. Not all cheap, but definitely worth the money. We especially loved the Pinot Nero "Terre di Giotto". A brillant cicchetti bar. Definitely a place we come back to next time in Venice.

After we were handed the glass of wine and plate, we found an empty table to sit at. The red wine came from tap and it was a lot better than I expected!
