We had an OK time here. Our service was fine even though at times it took a minute for our server to come to us. The menu is very similar to the location in the city however it didn't have that special spark at the time Square location has. I'd recommend if you were craving Dallas barbecue, but it definitely doesn't compare to their Big location.

When we were seated the table was so wobbly we had to ask to move because a drink would have spilled on that table. We asked the server to move and we were able to move to a nearby table. Everything we ordered was incredibly greasy, fatty or way too sweet. I know it's a bbq spot but I honestly expected better. It's like they put zero thought into the menu items other than to add way too much sugar. I also didn't expect the butter and sour cream to be served in single serve plastic containers (a ramekin would have been nicer). The crispy chicken wings were flavorless- no seasoning at all and the sticky wings had a sauce that was basically just sugar-filled. The beef ribs were tasty but really fatty, and the baked potato was good but it was the smallest I've ever seen. The mac and cheese was like Krafts and I sent it back because it was pretty gross. They must just have a huge vat of it because it came out within 3 minutes of us ordering it- even before the entree which was weird and it was just warm- not even hot. The one saving grace aside from the ribs bumping this review from a two to a three was the service. Our server was so nice. He was very efficient and friendly and made the night a bit better with his great service! Forgot his name but my husband and I were seated in the outer area near the windows. He was a Latino young man wearing a tie. Thank you young man for making our night a bit better! Also for a Saturday night it was pretty empty. Don't plan to return any time soon. Ir could be so much better, however it feels like they don't value their clientele and are doing the very bare minimum because of that.

Dallas BBQ in New Jersey was good. The service was good and the vibe was nice and chill, The food tasted good and the presentation. Was great. The Henessey wings were a little tangy but was okay. The BBQ Beef Ribs Texas Style were tender and good.

This was my first time visiting BBQ Dallas in Secaucus, New Jersey, and I must say the drinks, food, and service made it a great experience. Our server eventually got busy with other tables, but overall everything still flowed well. The wings were HUGE -- the sticky wings were my favorite, even more than the Hennessy wings. I also ordered the Smokehouse Special, though they were out of the sausage that day. Our drinks were Long Island Iced Tea Premier, and let me tell you -- they were Texas‑size and definitely left us happy. Worth every sip. One thing to be mindful of: my partner is allergic to mustard, and I didn't realize the pulled pork plate comes with two different sauces -- one side barbecue and the other honey mustard. So anyone with allergies should double‑check the sauces on the meats to avoid any issues. This place is definitely a must‑try at least once, just like I did -- and I'll be returning. I travel from place to place trying different spots, and this one stands out. It's unlike anything I've found in Virginia. The only place that ever came close was a hands‑on spot back in Lynchburg, VA (you can see it on my profile). BBQ Dallas brings something different, and it's worth the stop. Overall, great experience and no complaints from me.

Ohh, start your appetite engine with an order of Hennessey barbecue wings. Expect to get messy, but so flavorful.

Secaucus Dallas BBQ, expect the highest quality food and great service likened to Time Square of NYC. However, the modernized decor gives an upscale sport dining experience. This location has plenty of parking and nice sceneries.

It was a very pleasant experience. Everyone from the hostess to the waiter were very friendly and attentive. The location was nice and clean and we did not have to wait to be seated. My first time at this location and the sticky wings were a hit for my family. The half rack of baby back ribs were soft and flavorful and the bacon, cheese and onion burger was also delicious. I also enjoyed my passion fruit frozen margarita. The flavor was not on the menu but our waitress recommended it. Will definitely be returning again!

One word to begin this review - FINALLY!!! It's been talked about for decades how Dallas BBQs should make its way across the bridge to Jersey. Secaucus came through! My verdict - I still prefer my favorite NYC locations. This spot made a good effort, though and I'll likely return out of convenience, probably. I went early afternoon on a weekday, there was no wait to be seated. However, the wait was annoying for parking. They share a SMALL parking lot with the LA fitness gym next door. Service was just okay - my server was not attentive but I noticed she was very active with parties of 2 or more. I was dining solo and it was very noticeable. Nevertheless, what I loved the most about this new location is that it's reminiscent of pre-pandemic menu prices. My sticky wings came to the table barely warm... like 45 seconds from being cold. Which was so odd to me. Also, my usual/favorite drink (the superman) was just average/watered down. One thing I noticed is they use regular, plastic straws. MUCH appreciated!! I despise the way the oversized paper straws dissolve in your beverage. So, kudos for that! Overall, it was just okay. It's a nice space.

First time at this location. Clean restaurant, quick service. Our server Isabella was great! Super nice and friendly. Food came out quick and delicious. Only downside is that somehow the restroom was out of service.

I am a bit surprised at all of the negative reviews. This is my first time going to any Dallas BBQ location and I was greatly surprised. First off, the parking is quite easy with plenty of parking nearby. Upon entering the space is huge with plenty of different seating options. The service was great throughout. The food itself was fantastic. Way better than I expected it to be. The price and portion sizes were great. I will definitely be coming back often.

I've been to Dallas BBQ in the city more times than I'd like to admit (basically a VIP without the badge), so I was excited to try the new New Jersey location. Unfortunately... it left me disappointed. Let's start with the sticky wings: lukewarm, no crisp, no seasoning--just vibes. The veggie tempura, though? MVP of the meal. The drinks? My Miami Vice tasted like melted snow cone with a sugar rush and zero vacation. And the dessert? Bless its heart!! The real hero was our server, John. If this review was just about him, it'd be 5 stars with a standing ovation. He was friendly, attentive, and really tried to make up for the kitchen. The restaurant itself is nice--big space, TVs everywhere, and a cozy covered patio. Bonus points for free parking (once you find it--it's like a mini escape room adventure!) We came on a Friday at 1 PM, no wait at all. Prices were reasonable. I'll give them a few months to level up and maybe come back. But for now, it's a "not quite yet" from me.

I came here for a very special occasion. My family and I all ordered drinks. I ordered the Sour Apple Martini with the extra shaker and ice bucket (very good, def recommend!!) For food, I ordered the classic combo with the baked potato, very good. I was scared to order the mac and cheese because of the past reviews but the person at our table said they liked it. Portions were so big so it's worth the money. Our server was very funny and the inside wasn't crowded but not totally empty. I may consider coming back here again in the future.

We went a week or 2 after opening weekend to try out this location since we loved the New York one. It was pretty loud and packed inside. They don't take reservations so we had to wait in a short line for a table for 2 which wasn't bad, but it could be inconvenient if you have a bigger party. The henny wings and shrimp were fine. We ended up only ordering that because everything was taking a while. We ordered 2 Texas size drinks with extra shots, but the waitress actually gave us super Texas size with no shots which we could not finish. They were good, just sweet. We didn't realize until the bill came and we were charged $24 for each drink. We were also overcharged for someone else's bill because our server mixed up our credit cards (see pic). They gave us a sad little Entenmanns donut to make up for it after we asked if there was anything they could do. Overall the food and drinks were okay but not worth the trouble we had.

Finally they opened a spot that is driving distance. We went here on a weekday early dinner. Line to get in for large groups but we were seated quickly. Plenty of items on the menu. We picked the chicken and ribs. Ordering was quick. We had 2 servers, one was being trained. Food came out hot. At the time, the place was busy from graduation celebrations, so we didn't get attention. We had to go ask for to go boxes and check after waiting for a while. Interior franchise decor and clean since they are new. Do NOT go during rush hour because the area gets traffic. Service was unremarkable. Probably better later once they staff up. Will visit again but not anytime soon. Go if you are in the area.

Unfortunately, the service and food didn't live up to the setting for us. Our waiter, Danny, seemed to have an attitude from the moment we arrived. He hardly checked on our table, and after overhearing his conversations with other tables, it was clear that the energy and attentiveness he gave them felt different from what we received. Since gratuity is automatically included for larger parties, it made the experience even more disappointing. As for the food, several dishes lacked seasoning, including the lobster mac & cheese, salmon, braised short rib, short rib ragu, and lobster croquettes. Our group spent almost $1,400, so unfortunately, we expected more from both the food and service. The views and ambiance are lovely, but based on our experience, I wouldn't return.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

Midtown between 5th and 6th is mostly sad salad chains and tourist traps, so Valerie is doing more…read morework than it should have to. Went today, pre-theater crowd already forming at 5. It's better than it needs to be, which in this neighborhood counts for a lot. The room is the star. Brass, smoked mirrors, marble, wallpaper with burlesque dancers, very Gatsby cosplay but done with actual money. Think the Campbell at Grand Central, minus the $28 martini attitude. It's also LOUD downstairs. Ask for upstairs if you want to hear your date. Gin is the program here and they take it seriously, house-infused bottles paired with specific tonics, not an afterthought. My G&T was legitimately well built. Food from chef JC Colón is better than cocktail-bar standard: truffle fries in duck fat are worth it, the lobster mac at $31 is rich and fine but you've had it before. Skip dessert. The steak frites at $48 is where I'd tap out, that's real-restaurant money for bar food execution. Here's the move though: weekday happy hour, 4 to 7. Dollar oysters and $13 cocktails in a room this pretty is one of the best deals in Midtown, full stop. Service was warm and fast even slammed. Not a destination, but if you're near Bryant Park or seeing a show, this beats everything else within five blocks. Book ahead, walk-ins were getting turned away by 5:30.
