Major Concerns: During practices, the use of profanity and foul language among the players was constant. This wasn't just an occasional slip-up; it was the prevailing culture of the sessions, and it went largely unaddressed by the coaching staff. My son, who was genuinely excited to play, eventually asked to quit because he felt uncomfortable and discouraged by the disrespectful atmosphere. No child should be pushed out of a sport they love because the adults in charge fail to maintain basic standards of decency. An association's priority should be the well-being and character development of the kids, not just the collection of fees that looks like I won't get refunded for it. If you are looking for a program that prioritizes sportsmanship and a positive environment, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Drive Nation is a very clean and well payed out sports arena. My son plays basketball and we've…read morebeen here for tournaments on 2 different occasions so far. I like that the admission prices have been listed on the doors prior to entry. The front is a bit small and can get congested easily but it's well payed out in regards to the flow of traffic coming in and out. There's Drive Nation apparel and accessories for sale in the front also. On entry into the arena, there's very clean multi stall restrooms (at lest the women's restroom is multi stall, I can't be sure about the men's room lol). Each court number is well labeled and visible. Scoreboards are easily visualized and there's small TVs in between each court with ads about the various sporting events that takes place at there arena. There's a confession stand with a wide variety of food and beverage options (including beer and wine). I've enjoyed the basketball tournaments here and would only suggest that there are nets in between each court so as to aide in the prevention of various balls flying into other games.

The coaches there are super nice, approachable and give excellent instruction. In fact, I attribute my older son's improved hitting and D1 college scholarship in part to TPA. Shane worked with him weekly, and my son reinforced the skills by hitting at TPA on his own. Definitely a winning formula! The new facility is huge, climate controlled and in a nice area. When I need to drive my younger son and his friends, I go shop or eat on Main Street until they are done. I highly recommend TPA!!

It was easy to see that this was the first year for the tournament: the bleachers looked to quickly assembled lumber planks, the ballboys/girls frequently seemed confused on where to be and the restrooms were in a trailer pulled up next to the hotel. In a sense, the experience felt close to watching a local high school tennis match. But these things are to be expected from a first year event. While the venue doesn't stack up to other tournaments I've attended, it did make for a more intimate experience. Seating was close to the courts as opposed to vast stadium seating, the crowds were (unfortunately) sparse so that it was easy moving around and the sightlines were good from all angles. They also did a good job coping with the 100+ temperatures by providing an air-conditioned area where you could poke your head in and grab some food. Overall, I'd consider it a nice, more intimate, event which should improve as the years go by.

I'm not sure how their VB program, but if you have to go to a tournament there, be aware before you…read morego! They had 4 tow trucks there towing cars, but there was literally NO parking. They were towing people parked on the grass of their property, but when there's no where else to go, what were they supposed to do? I parked almost a mile away and had to walk, and I got one of the last street spots. It was absurd. Additionally, their courts are NOT good for tourneys. We had to stop and reset plays 8 different times today because balls from other courts kept landing in ours. The bathrooms smell terrible and are not clean. Terrible facility and terrible tourney planning. I would never sign my kid up for their program based on their tournament.
