Having no shame, this recreation center is now charging $35 for their family plan. They keep changing g their hours to fit their needs. In addition, the Roanoke recreation center lacks sanitation wipes. I'm not joking, the wipes have been empty for weeks. When you tell the kids in the front, the two boys, they just nod and go s as bout their ways. I mean, in the midst of Covid , nothing is readily available, at this center. You can't wipe anything down. The sweats on the machines snd equipment just sit on the equipment until the next person becomes a victim of catching a case. Furthermore, the place is kept without air conditioning. You could have a stroke trying to workout- in their modest gym- with a few machine operating. So good luck with your workout. This place is nasty , not kept clean. Their bathrooms and facility - in an overall demeanor, is dirty, not attended to and some of their toilets are unflushable. It's too bad they have teenagers, who are busy on their cell phone, basically, running this place down. In a nutshell, this place is hotter than hell , offers little to no working equipment and lacks in wipes. So in midst of Covid, this center is running a mock , lacking wipes - that are always empty , in their dispensary. It's like , " For the love of God, , get off your butts and off your damn cellphones and attend to this facility , that's over priced, for what they offer. It's not safe working out there anymore. I've been in and out of their adult tennis drop and drills on Tuesday and Thursday since moving to the area in 2018. For stretches, their tennis drills have been humming with really good players - but then there's a big drop in attendance for a while. The biggest opportunity there is to start developing some new drills and not stick with the comfort of Amarillo and other drill mainstays. Wagon Wheel to its credit was pickleball when pickleball wasn't all that cool - before the pandemic. It seems though with the evolution of indoor operations in the DFW area - several opening since the start of the year - Wagon Wheel has seen a decrease in advanced players and it's mostly low to mid intermediate now - even on their designated advanced courts during their pickleball open plays. They recently enhanced their court waiting area near the original true pickleball courts but are dealing with some backlash over the construction of new courts converted from tennis because they're way too cramped. If you are going to play in a park setting, Wagon Wheel's tennis and original pickleball courts are in phenomenal shape and it's pretty affordable to play there. Their tennis teaching pros work hard and Wagon Wheel has a formidable teen tennis program with other amenities like ball machine rental for both tennis and pickleball. I don't love that it costs more for non-Coppell residents plus fees to run a credit card for tennis and pickleball so I'm willing to pay a little more for better competition and indoor pickleball.

There were temporarily located in Richardson, but have since moved to their permanent location in Carrollton. The facility is huge and it's nice to finally have a volleyball home with the team name. Club Volleyball isn't like recreational volleyball in the sense that there is more of an urgency to win; that being said, it's great preparation for the real world of sports, be it middle school, High School or College level. There are a lot of clubs out there, we choose Excel because we feel the coaches take the responsibility of training our children personally.

Frustrated, I went to another stringing place, and immediately noticed that their BG65 string looked visibly different. I asked the staff about it, and they went above and beyond to verify the authenticity of their string and provided proof. Although they couldn't comment directly on Vistara's string, it was clear from comparison that the Vistara string was a fake and very poor quality. Attaching a photo of the real string for reference. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Vistara - they are using counterfeit strings!

He was able to get me a private lesson that afternoon! He has been teaching for over 30 years. He has a lot of experience and a ton of patience with me! Lessons are always fun. He plays upbeat music and is able to explain skills in different ways so I can better understand my approach. Picking up a new hobby is difficult but I'm glad I have Fred as my coach. He has provided me with a ton of tips! 10/10 would recommend him to my friends and family.
