Brought my wheel here to get repaired. My wheel was severely bent and had scratches on the lip. They machined down the lip but didn't fix the bend, the main problem with the wheel. I drove around Dallas for a few days thinking the shaking was in my head but finally decided to get the wheel rebalanced. The balance showed no work ever done and they never even balanced tire. Well time fly's even if your fun is ruined by a cracked wheel. Went to King's Customs in Fort Worth for a set of tires, one wheel was cracked so they referred me to Dallas Wheels Repair in Arlington. Have used another wheel repair shop in the past in Grand Prairie so I had an idea what I expected. Called ahead and the said if I got the wheel in before 5:30 P.m. I would have it back by 9 a.m. Wow. Drove straight there and was going to ask how much to repair the road rash on all four wheels since I have had them on the car since about 2013 or so and they had some serious wear showing. I wanted them taken from Matte black to a high gloss black. Got to the shop and they said they could repair the one wheel for $140, but then suggested what I was going to ask, that I get all of them done in powder coat. I picked high gloss black and they cut me a deal of $550 including tax. 4 wheels made to look brand new for $550 and offered a custom touch of red in the inlays, but I declined. I am not that flashy. I buy performance wheels because they save on un-sprung weight, allow the brakes to get more air and cool down faster leading to less fade, and to enhance the cars appearance a little without being gaudy. The most important benefit is they allow for the application of performance tires. In city traffic, it comes down to stopping power, agility in lane changes when a car cuts you off, and traction on wet roads. My tires have saved me in some pretty tricky circumstances at speeds we need not discuss. Well I agreed to the price and left the car. This morning, picked up the car and wow. The wheels look better than when I purchased them. Driving home, the balance on them was so perfect the car felt like I had a front end alignment, no shimmer at all. They need to do more advertising on their wheel balancing because I have never left a shop and had the balance this perfect. All in all, I hope I never encounter another pothole that does a number on my wheel, but if I do, I am pretty sure I am headed straight to Dallas Wheels Repair. Just might be able to put off buying a new car for a couple more years now as well. Bessie is looking fine with her new shoes and all. read more

I took my SLIGHTY damaged wheels to Hamm's Tires and they sent them off here. My wheels were damaged in the inside, no damage was done to the outside. When I got them back there were scratches and scrapes all along the outside of my wheels. There is also splotches of white paint on my black wheels. It took several days to even get them back when they were supposed to be finished next day. Definitely do not recommend and will not take any wheels to them again. read more

This place works some serious miracles. Definitely have your eye out for Raul; he's the man and knows exactly what to do. We had some leaking issues with our 2 piece rims because there was a section of the rim that was dented from driving over rough roads. We were able to drop off on a Monday evening and the wheel was ready with all curb rash and dents gone by Wednesday afternoon. I love how professional and knowledgeable these guys are. Our wheels are custom ordered and had a specific paint/finish on them. DWR did a great job of color matching to the best of their ability. FYI they're open "24 hours", but you can only drop off before 5pm. During the late evenings and nights, they focus on repairing the wheels. If you have some really simple curb rash, I'm sure they can let you drop off and pick up within a few hours (like the next morning). Great guys! They know what they're doing and they do it well. Also, before we took our wheels here, we were recommended this place by 2 other wheel companies because they couldn't fix our custom wheels. DWR fixed it for us without a problem :) read more

Just like the other review I go in for a curb rash on my silver machine wheel and they end up powder coating my whole wheel black Wtf? And then they up charge me to fix it when it was there mistake. The nightmare doesn't end there They changed the wheels concave form and now it cracked from the spoke I came in for just a curb rash and they messed up my whole wheel. I sent a very expensive wheel to these people because it was leaking air. Paid $200. Recieved it back sold the truck. New owner said it still leaked air. He put air in it and said he would fix later himself. Well he didn't. He drove truck and damaged the wheel. He then couldn't pay me remainig balance that he owed me for the truck. So I took it back with bent wheel. So I send it again to these people to get it fixed. Charged me $250 this time. Guess what! It leaked the air again! I got in the truck to take compressor to get fixed. Because it was leaking freon., While im driving truck felt really rough! I hadnt driven it since getting the wheel back. Well I just got on the truck with my daughter to take to the mechanic didn't see that the wheel had leaked the air. I pull over in a gas station and notice the tire was flat. No spare! I had to drive the rest of the way slowly to the mechanic. No point of trying to get back home. Well wheel got bent because of it. And I think my $400 dollar tire is ruined on top of that! I then send the wheel off to dallas welds or wheel repair inc. Whatever they call themselves. These company has the nerve to say that I damaged the wheel! That thats the reason it went flat! That they'll charge me $200 to fix it!! Wow! My daughter and I could have been killed! These company is a rip off!!! I wanted to share my experience. I am waiting to see if they will fix it. If they dont I will be taking them to court!! Stay away from them! Go somewhere else!! They refused to fix the wheel. I will be taking them to court. I will sue them to get my money.back! 1st time i used them they were great, 2nd time once my wheel was done i paid my balance but i still needed the wheel to to be polished where it was welded and when i went back in they said i stilled owed a balance and wouldnt give me my wheel. i couldn't find my final receipt but conveniently they couldn't either. They saved me $100's of dollars by repairing my 22" very bent chrome rim that had been dicontinued. I dropped it off at 5pm and it was ready by 10am the next day. They gave me a courteousy call to let me know. They charged $125 and got rid of the blown out tire. The only drawback is they only accept cash so have your green ready, but they told me this when i dropped it off so i was prepared. Worth the drive from Ft Worth and worth the bullshit construction on Abrams street. (I cut thru the neighborhood) read more
