Terrible experience trying to work with Eli Abdalla and Danny Saad. I came in to look at one of their used vehicles and spoke with Danny about pricing. We ended up negotiating over the phone and we were only a few hundred apart so he said to come in and speak with his manager and he was ready to make a deal. So I showed up with cash in hand ready to purchase the car. After coming in, the manager Eli gave me a price that was much higher than what me and Danny had discussed and he claimed the number Danny came up with did not include fees, even though I explicitly spoke with Danny about the numbers being out the door numbers. Typical bait and switch you see from these scam dealerships. I also discussed with Danny how I'd be registering the car out of state, and he said that was no issue he could even deliver the car to my house in San Francisco, and I could figure out transportation out of state on my own. But when I showed up, Eli said the only way we can make this deal happen is if I get a transportation company to pick up the car direct from the dealership. I said that was fine if we can get to the number me and Danny had discussed but he said he had another customer already approved that was going to pickup the car for a higher price, but he'd be willing to sell me the car on a first come first serve basis. To no ones surprise, the car was still there a few days later and the "approved buyer" Eli mentioned was just another tactic to pressure me into purchasing the car for a higher price than Danny had mentioned, again typical of scam dealerships. Because I wanted to get into a car ASAP, I agreed to pay their full asking price and they said if I could arrange a transport company to pick up the car, I could take it today. I asked to test drive the car while we wait, and they said I needed to pay the car in full before driving it. Once I got the transportation arranged so I could take the car the same day, they said they wouldn't sell me the car unless they sourced their own transportation and paid them for it. They went over how the lease was a better deal than purchases for EV. Unfortunately, they did not honor the program and did not submit my code to the program administrator. I inquired with the program administrator when I didn't get the gift card and they said the Daly City Mitsubishi didn't submit the code and advised I contact the dealership. I reached out to Eli (manager) for his help since he was the one I gave the code to, and he's not responding via email or phone. Left multiple messages without success. This isn't a great experience and will be a factor for which car I decide on. I had the pleasure of having my (non-Mitsubishi) SUV evaluated by Lalo who did an outstanding job at diagnosing an issue that I was having with my transmission -- thankfully before it escalated and created more damage. He further advised me to get in contact with the warranty department for the manufacturer who informed me that the car is still within warranty for this particular issue. I had a great experience at Daly City Mitsubishi. I purchased a 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL 500 from this dealership in June 2021. I found the car on the dealership's website. From the moment I inquired about the car, the process was smooth. The car was priced fairly, and the dealership provided me with all Carfax reports and other vehicle history information. I was able to confirm that the car was serviced by Steven's Creek Mercedes in San Jose, CA, and that all required maintenance was completed on it. The sales lady, Blanca, was transparent with all details of the transaction. I did not feel pressured at all during the transaction. I was able to speak with her and get all the details worked out quickly. Once the deal was completed, my car was shipped down to So Cal. Upon inspection of my new car, everything was as claimed to be. BTW, I did not find any bogus dealer prep fees or other markups like other places seem to try to sneak in. Drove here to check out a 2018 Audi. Staff was friendly and test drive went well. Came back the next day to buy it, front wheel had been curbed and chunk taken out of tire. They said they would repair it, give us a loaner in the mean time and would detail the car too. Ok sounds good. They delivered the car a few days later, tank on empty and wasn't detailed. Not a big deal. When we eventually pull off the plastic cover things they put on the floor we realize the floor mats are missing from the drivers side front and back. Text a few times and they say they will ask the detailers and look around, but they eventually stop responding to our messages. Again not that big of a deal, but still not cool. Biggest issue we had is that we were told the car was never in any accidents or anything like that. I guess according to the Carfax that would be true, but when we took it to our detailer to get a ceramic coating we were made aware that the hood and driver's side fender/door had all been repainted and after they removed the wax on the car the difference between the repainted panels was pretty noticeable. Can't say for sure if they knew about this or not, but the dealership auction sites they use like Manheim give very thorough inspection reports that would pick up stuff like this that wouldn't be found on a Carfax because it wasn't a reported accident. I love over an hour away and the first night I was there, we weren't able to reach a deal. I continued to communicate with the salesman over the next few days. On my way up to purchase the car, I got a call informing me that they were going to decrease the value of my trade and increase the price of the Tesla.... They don't care about the client, they only want to sell the car, they even leave the car that you do the test drive without gas just to make you not to get on the freeway. The Cmax that I got had 12 miles of range when I got it to test. I told the guy and he only told me to go around the block that should be fine to test drive the car. The next day that I bought it I went to the freeway and I started hearing a noise that I complained about but they only told me that they could do nothing about it because I had already signed the contract and the sale was final. The car I initially wanted was a little out of my budget. My credit wasn't the greatest and the monthly payments would've been above my maximum. Wassim helped me to get into another car, one that I wasn't even thinking about initially. Between Ali and Rick they were able to get me approved with a much better interest rate and a way lower monthly payment than I imagined. Overall my experience was a positive one. I didn't feel pressured to make a purchase neither did I feel mis informed about my choices. I would recommend these guys for anyone with or without good credit. The staff I dealt with: Eli, Justin, George and my sales person Chris were ALL amazing! I came in for an issue with a used car I bought from Cadillac of SSF. I was greeted in such a friendly manner by Justin. My car was in the shop for 3 days. While waiting, I met the rest of the staff. Chris and I spoke about a particular car I was admiring. He gave me a tour of the cars. (I owned a 2014 Outlander for 6 years before it died on me so i was very familiarwith the cars) I was given information about the car I was admiring and was also given details about possibly owning one. Being that I felt that my self employment wasn't enough for me to buy a new car, I dismissed the thought of it. Chris was relentless in proving to me (showing me on paper side by side how I was wasting money on just gas alone with my current Montero vs the Outlander Hybrid. After spending 3 days at Daly City Mitsubishi (and 3 days fighting with Cadillac of SSF over the phone & in person to take their non working vehicle back) I realized that owning a new car was actually possibly. Thanks to the persistent and proof of what owning a new vehicle would be in my favor and thanks to Eli for finding the best deal for me. And especially thanks to Chris for helping me see what a smart investment I'd be making. I, along with my 3 children in the back, was able to drive off in my brand new 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Phev. on Sat 11/4. I am beyond thankful and happy with my car. I wouldn't have been able to take that leap of faith into such a big decision if it wasn't for Chris.
