I came here a lot to get my cars for mobile 1 oils since they have that 10,000 mileage to change my oil and other Orailly auto parts don't have it so I came here a lot of times and my old high school friend works here at this Orailly auto parts his name is Douglas and he is always helpful to me to get my car running again and I did my alternator changed at my house.. My 2007 Toyota Corolla LE and also I got battery replaced as well.. Too bad I am no longer have my 2007 Toyota Corolla LE so now I own BMW/Mini cooper S JCW and 2011 BMW 328I MPower that I do get more oil change brake fluids and etc.. Didn't even go in. I was driving around trying to find parking and saw that someone was leaving in front of the auto shop. I turned my blinker on and waited for them to pull out. Then on the employees pulling in behind them and took the spot. I wasn't that mad just a little bothered that the spot was taken, since there wasn't much parking so I just stared at the guy as he got out. He walked out and gave me and my friend a creepy smirk and walked into the shop while flipping us off. I was a little annoyed after that because of how rude and immature this worker was as he was probably heading into work and all I did was stare at him because he took a parking spot and felt the need to flip us off. read more

The WORST experience happened in this store. The assistant manager " Julio" treated a customer really bad. He was unbelievably rude, charged unnecessary fee, and took the customer's phone without saying anything. Eventually, he pointed the door and said "Get out." to the customer, abandoned customer service and left in the middle of conversation. Who the hell do you think you are? I didn't actually shop here but rather an incident that occurred with an employee of O'Reilly. I was pulling in from the main road in my car. Just as I was reaching the crosswalk. The O'Reilly employee walks out from the side within the parked cars(he did not begin crossing from the crosswalk as he came diagonally from the parked cars). As I see him walking. I obviously stop for him to cross and gesture nicely with my hand for him to go. He stands in front of my car and looks at me and starts going off teaching me where to stop and others things. So I wave my hands to tell him to go as I also verbally say to him. "I'm sorry man, but can you go". The OReilly employee keeps ranting off as he stands in front of my car. So I respond back. "just go man". The employee begins walking off with his back at me saying "don't talk to me like that". Getting a bit irritated from his actions. I say to him, "You're the one talking, not me". The employee says you f***ing Chinese, you want to do something about it. I didn't attack his race like he did to me. Instead I said, Wow, and started clapping loudly. (To think I would have to experience this type of ignorant racism over nothing). The employee then tells me to step out of my car. So I just drove off. I don't think its great to make someone lose their job, but I don't have a problem recognizing this employee if needed. this happened between 1pm - 1:17pm 10/27/20 Tuesday. read more

I keep coming here because maybe, just maybe the customer service will eventually get better. Came to get my car battery replaced and I had told the employee that I had just gotten my battery jumped just so I can make it to their shop to get a new one. I called a few times to confirm they had it and the employee hung up on me 3 times. I decided to just go because I needed to change the battery on my vehicle asap. Unfortunately he kept telling me that they were busy and couldn't leave the store to install the battery for me. There was maybe 1 other customer in the building and he told me that it's so easy I can do it. I mentioned no, I do not know how to do it, that's why I was asking for someone to install. I was very polite and said I can wait however long it took for someone to free up and install as I also couldn't get gas and make it to another shop. Luckily there's a Wheel Works next door and even though I have to leave my car there overnight, the interaction and service I received from Wheel Works was 100 times better than the service I received from Oreillys at Skyline Plaza. read more

Wow, the people who work here must feel miserable everyday. Last time I try to buy some gasket for my car. I already knew the parts number so I went in and ask for it. The hispanic guy was just totally rude. I asked him if the part is right for my car just to make sure I got the correct part. He actually yell at me because I forgot to give him my info. OK, no problem. So I paid for it and walked out. As I was walking toward the door, his buddy (another hispanic guy) actually scream at me if I am going to pay for the gasket!! WTF?!?!? So I scream back and said I already paid for it. No apologies. Nothing. These guys need to be fired. Also, they have to take used motor oils. But every time I come here their oil tank is always full. Came here to exchange some wiper blades for my car after the one in Millbrae gave me the wrong pair. The guy was nice enough and asked what make, model, and year I had. I specifically told him I had a coupe, not a sedan. He tells me that the dude who gave me the blades in Millbrae was an idiot because he gave me the wrong ones. He switched 'em for me and supposedly gave me the right pair. Well, I had my auto dude change it for me since I had to take my car in for an oil change today. Again, I was given the wrong blade size. The ones I got the second time around are for a sedan. Is it really that hard to look up a car with specifics and give a customer the correct sizes? Surprised this location is still in business and I should of read the reviews on Yelp before calling this O'Reilly. I was looking for a gasket for my old car and the locations in San Francisco didn't seem to have the part I was looking for. I looked online and this location have the part in stock, so I decided to give them a call to make sure before making the drive over from the city, since I have had times where people at O'Reilly could not find the part I was looking for, such as the time when I was buying a water pump. I called and the person answering the phone I believe was the manager was very rude on the phone. No greeting whatsoever and did not bother to answer my inquiry on the item, instead he said "I am about to leave and cannot help you" and hangs up the phone on me. Jeez, you could of at least said you are busy or place me on hold. Well, I guess I'll take money somewhere else or better yet order online when not in a rush. read more

A little surprised by all the negative reviews. Personally, this is my go to O'Reillys in the area because it is the storage warehouse for most of the surrounding stores. I don't remember their names, but there is a young Asian male, and I believe a middle eastern man that works at night, that really know their stuff. They are always very helpful. Bought a power brake booster from them, and they were able to find a perfect match for me and made sure I had some extra bolts and miscellaneous parts to get the job done right the first time. read more

Called O'Reilly Auto Parts in mission Daly City looking for a lower control arm for my car , the lady told me that they dont have it on stock but was kind enough to tell me that it is available at their store in skyline blvd in daly city , i called the mentioned store to double check and a guy named AL answered and i told him that im Looking for a front lower control arm passenger and driver side for my vehicle , the first thing that the parts associate ask me is if i can describe what does the part looks like " IT LOOKS LIKE A CONTROL ARM " besides how do you describe a control arm over the phone , i guess he was looking at his parts catalogue so he ask me is it the forward or the rearward control arm , i told him the one on the bottom , then he ask again so is it the rearward or the forward because your vehicle shows it has 2 different kind one is rearward and one is forward , so i ask him have you ever seen a control arm on a vehicle , he said yes , then he said hold on let me do some reaearch on your vehicle , then put me on hold for 30 mins then cam back and said sorry we dont have the part on stock ! The cashier seem nice but lack of knowledge for explaining for the product they sell. Most of the item price doesn't see right at all, it's seem like 50% expensive than Amazon and may be like 30% more than auto zone or other places. This place should be reported to consumer affairs. Their cashier are lack of explaining or hard to understand also. I once got charged non-refundable shipping fees for special order canceled but they told me I will get refund back before I purchased. When I came back for my money back, they said they can't refund back my shipping fees which they never mentioned at first place. This is not fair for the consumer and the law must enforced this place seriously. I will never buy at this place again and if you value your money, you shouldn't either. Not sure why ppl still giving this place for 4 stars or 5 stars when this place can't even refund back the shipping fees which u just created order very recently. On the top of it price is not even comparable and it is big gap. My special order mirror cost me $55 at AUTOZONE and 3 days shipping which cost me $77 at this place with one and half weeks shipping. read more

The manager always acts like he has a chip on his shoulder and could care less about what you're there for and god forbid if you ask them to double check something for you. He wears no uniform, or name tag and looks all grungy with the attitude to boot. This is the second time I've had issues with the management and the store. I've also had issues with the store in Pinole not knowing what the hell they were talking about when it concerned batteries and alternators. This is the reason I stopped going to OReilly's because both locations in Pinole had inexperienced folks that knew nothing about cars! I decided to give them another chance at a different location since I moved and it was a joke. I've always went to Autozone and will always continue to go with them. He said he cannot help me as he was alone in the store, but out of the corner of my eye I see two guys with the same uniform hanging around him by the counter. First I went in for a timing belt they gave me the wrong one and they wouldn't refund me for the belt left alone the lable cost !!!! I was looking to get my battery checked, I looked up this place because it's close to my house, well I'm glad I read the reviews first, I was put off by them so I decided to call in to ask them about it. well it's raining right now and incidentally their portable battery checking machine is strangely not working and they're waiting for a replacement. The reviews don't lie, these guys are rude af. I first called asking a question and the guy on the phone seemed irritated with me for no apparent reason. I noticed his change of tone so I calmly asked if maybe their other location had what I was looking for and he says "well you call this store right" I was like wtf. I was in no way rude with my question and was completely calm but whoever answered (older guy) seemed like I was such an inconvenience in our 15 second conversation. Anyways I went there to look around because I was already close by and man, the two older guys are just rude af. I'm not sure if the tire place is part of there also but even that guy there was rude. I asked him a question and he says "go to the other door" I say thank you and he just walks away. I go into o'reilly and asked the guy a question, he looks at me then looks back at the computer and waits a few seconds to answer and when he does he just mumbles. I didn't understand what he said and I was already getting irritated so I asked the other older guy and he too didn't seem like he wanted to help. I know it's a Sunday, but you're still getting paid to help customers. I was going to buy a couple of things because as a local business owner myself, I like to buy locally to help our local shops as much as possible. This specific store, I will never come back here and I will just order online where I already knew what I needed was almost 50% cheaper. Fix your customer service o'reilly. Every dollar you don't make a day because of bad customer service is hurting you annually and these employees are milking you for every cent.
