After the dealership responded to my review and specifically asked me to call their main line so they could "address this situation directly" and find a "satisfactory solution," I called back and gave them another opportunity to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this turned out to be another frustrating and ultimately unproductive interaction. I was ultimately told that the dealership cannot do anything because it is up to Lexus Corporate to provide the parts and authorize/pay for the repair. This is despite the fact that I have already gone through the dealership and Lexus Corporate multiple times and explained that the A/C servo failure is the same issue covered under Lexus Customer Support Program 20LE01. So after being told to call back to discuss a resolution, I called back, only to be sent right back to the same place I started. At this point, I have made more than enough good faith attempts to resolve this directly. I genuinely wanted Lexus to stand behind a known defect and simply repair the vehicle. Instead, I've repeatedly been passed between the dealership and corporate with no meaningful resolution. If the dealership's response to my original review was intended to offer an actual solution, I unfortunately did not receive one. read more

After requesting a quote from Carvana, Bianca received my contact information and texted me, offering $1,000 more than Carvana and stressing that Carvana doesn't handle DMV paperwork. She extended the offer, so I made an appointment. I confirmed everything the day before and double-checked the required documents, all of which she acknowledged receipt of. Both my husband and I took time off work for the appointment--he was there solely to drive me home after dropping off the car. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed me Bianca had called in sick, and there was no apology or explanation from Bianca herself despite the fact that she has my cellphone number. Instead, the Lexus representative gave me a quote much lower than Echo Park's original offer. If you want to sell your vehicle, avoid Echo Park and Bianca at all costs. I later found multiple similar complaints about them on Reddit. Save yourself the hassle--work with Carvana or Carmax instead. This is strictly for their sales team. Our salesperson seemed uninterested and told us to go elsewhere when I wanted to negotiate. Another sales person followed up a few days later with me and told me that the price I wanted wasn't possible on the model that I wanted. He then followed up with maybe a potential deal with an in stock model. Guess what? Well, I listened to the first salesperson at Serramonte and I got a deal at another Bay Area dealership. I entered my car info into Edmund's to get the blue book value, and received three "offers" after I completed the process. The highest offer by far was from Echo Park. I went to the Lexus dealership where Echo Park is represented by Bianca. Sure, I had to wait a bit, but that is because she was busy completing transactions. I quickly realized this was a legitimate offer I had received, and after inspecting my car, Bianca not only honored the offer I had received online, but gave me a week to think about it. Lexus allowing echopark to do business at their location is a bad idea. Echopark did deal, a week later the check they gave me was stopped payment on. The person doing the deal supposedly is the general manager. Said they had mailed check to Hyundai to pay off my car. It's been 10 days now. They replaced the speed check with no real explanation. I would give this dealership zero stars if I could. I visited to purchase a used Tesla Model 3 and initially had a great experience with the sales associate, Sue. She was professional, helpful, and after the test drive we were prepared to purchase the vehicle that day. The issue arose when we reviewed the purchase quote. Several dealer add-ons totaling approximately $3,500 were listed as optional. When we requested that these items be removed, manager Benjamin Wong insisted on keeping them despite acknowledging they were optional. This contradicted what we had been told earlier by the sales associate. During the discussion, Benjamin became dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than working with us transparently, he appeared focused on preserving unnecessary add-on charges. The interaction left us with the impression that the dealership was relying on hidden or non-transparent fees to increase the final price. As a result, we chose to purchase a vehicle elsewhere. This was not due to the vehicle itself or the sales associate, but entirely because of the management interaction and the dealership's handling of optional charges. Sue was excellent. If you are servicing your Lexus here, read every line item on the repair order carefully before signing anything. I came in for a Lexus Service Bulletin and was assigned Jason Chen as my Service Advisor. While my car was also due for routine maintenance, I later noticed the repair order included extra services like a engine flush that were never discussed. Keep in mind my car was at 20k miles and was only due for a 24 month service. These extra services are not on the service manual. I approved the work thinking it was just an oil change and addressing a recall. Looking back, it felt like Jason was more interested in increasing his commission than in what was actually necessary. Jason acted like he knew more about my car and did not take the time to have a real conversation. From my family's perspective, he takes advantage of non-English speaking customers to notice the extra charges on their repair orders. When my family showed me their repairs orders written by Jason, it raised serious concerns about fairness and transparency. Come in for brakes and rotors, expect to leave with additional repairs outside of the scope of repairs. I was the one paying the repair bills for my family and noticed the patterns. No courtesy vehicle was offered, I was told to use Enterprise and the rental will be charged to my repair bill because "corporate" seems like a poor excuse for a luxury dealership. On top of that, their Sales Associate Nick Hart pushed aggressively trying to get me to bring my car back to sell me a new one. What was supposed to be a quick five-minute call turned into a one-hour sales pitch. He called and emailed every single day and was also able to reach my boss at one point, which I found completely unprofessional and crossed the line. For the record, Nick was not the original sales associate that sold me my Lexus, that person actually still worked at Lexus of Serramonte. After these experiences, I stopped going to Lexus of Serramonte and took my business to Lexus of Marin, also owned by the Sonic Automotive Group but offering a much better experience. Between the upselling, poor communication, lack of amenities, pushy sales tactics, and the way some customers are taken advantage of, I cannot recommend Lexus of Serramonte. No point in responding to my review, as I already brought this up to their General Managers and it appears to be a revolving door at that office. read more

My advisor, Allister, was very communicative and kept me updated as to the progress of the service. It was quick, less than 2-hours total. He also booked me a complementary Uber ride home because the shuttles were too far away. When the car was ready for pickup, Allister booked me a shuttle ride back and the driver, Nick, was also very communicative. He texted me the ETA as well as when he arrived. During the initial test drive of similar model, Nicholas was knowledgeable and provided honest opinions on the different NX 350H Basic/Premium features based on past customer feedback. Such input definitely helped us better analyze the pricing tradeoffs. Although there was a couple of days delay in the car delivery to the dealership location, Nicholas made sure the service on the day of our car pickup was smooth and also reiterated the different features including setting up the Lexus mobile app. For the final add ons of financing terms, servicing, GAP coverage, etc. we were assisted by Gustavo. Salesperson Mariia is very dismissive and doesn't even want to help. We only ask for one thing, an OTD price of a specific vehicle that was in the showroom but she would not even try to help us. Kept talking about depending on the trim that we want, going on and on about they have different pricing when I already told her it's for that specific vehicle that's in the showroom. Made us feel that we are not serious buyers, she thinks that we can't afford the vehicle, thinks that we are wasting her time when she's just sitting there not doing anything anyway and dismissing every question we have. I didn't like how she was treating us so we just had to agree to whatever the hell she was saying just to end the conversation as she's not listening to us. We went straight to Putnam Lexus where they gave us an excellent customer service and closed a deal the same day. I highly recommend skipping the colma dealers and go somewhere else. After I showed them proof of the Toyota quote, they finally agreed to $20,500. Then they made me wait an entire week, asking me to send more quotes from other dealers ( which is ridiculous). Meanwhile, the sales manager is never even in the store and works from home, apparently only showing up once a week to look at cars. After all that waiting, they were still bargaining over $500. I originally bought this car for around $60,000, and this experience was extremely disappointing. Instead of treating a loyal customer with respect, they wasted my time trying to push the price down. I recently purchased a vehicle from Lexus of Serramonte and highly recommend Dehwey as your go to. I had been searching for almost a year, trying to get an allocation on a GX550. I was looking in other states, but was not able to get an allocation with the desired spec. If I was able to, it was marked up or had crazy options added. Stopping by Lexus of Serramonte on a whim, I was immediately greeted by Dehwey. I told him what I was looking for, exchanged contact info, not really expecting to gain much traction knowing how hot the market for these vehicles were, as well as I am sure a lengthy waitlist. Within a few days, he texted me saying that he was able to swap allocations and if I was interested. The car had everything I needed, didn't have crazy added on options, and most importantly was at MSRP. I committed and recently took delivery. He was supposed to be off that day, but still came in. The transaction/paperwork part took half an hour, and then Dehwey took about good 45 minutes walking me through the options, syncing up my app, etc. He even waited for me to fill up so I could be the one to drive it to the gas station. The car market is different now than when I bought my first car as with this model; there really is no negotiation. What a day, what a day. We spent most of our day going up and down Serramonte car dealerships. We ended up at Lexus of Serramonte. We were debating a new hybrid Honda or a used hybrid Lexus. We were at the lot looking around and Tyler came out to help us. We asked about hybrid vehicles and he provided a lot of information. During the test drive he drove the first half and explained the features the Lexus UX has. Too much for me to explain, but it was definitely very thorough. The part that blew my mind was that the vehicle's smart enough to auto slow and stop during cruise control by sensing the vehicle in front. Technology nowadays, sheesh. When we were waiting for our turn for the financing/signing portions, we checked out the lounge. There were TVs, restrooms, hot/cold water dispenser, and a coffee/hot chocolate machine. I had two cup of hot cocoa . We also traded in her old 2006 Honda Accord. We had a really good deal and a positive experience. I was told when I made my service appointment that this dealership honored lithium oil change contracts. When I got here, I was told they did not. When they gave me the loaner, they said I had to return it 88% full. I looked at the gas gauge before I left the dealership And it was at 88%. What that means is they expect me to pay for every drop of gas that I use. I also had a Peiling info screen and they said they would fix it as best they could. Since I have an extended warranty for everything in the car from Lexus, fixing it as well as they can isn't good enough in my opinion. I paid a lot for that warranty. I simply will never come to this dealership again. I'll find another one. Beware! read more

My one previous 10,000 mile service experience was good, but a service to replace a broken side window was crazy expensive - over twice nondealer estimates. My first experience on Friday morning at this dealer's parts department and it could've been better. I went in to get transmission and differential fluid for an upcoming maintenance. I asked the older gentlemen at the counter how many quarts I needed and he asked his colleague which he replied 4. He goes in the back to get tbe merchandise and comes back with a box. I got rung up and left. I checked the box in my car and he overcharged me by 1 quart. I go back and had to wait awhile for the manager to process the refund.
