That was some finger licking good grub you just threw at me!!! I love the concept of farm to table, & supporting local community. We got wings & some mac & cheese... my little brother didn't like the pin feathers on the chicken & as an amateur cook, I'd go an extra min or two to let the fat really render down...local birds are some chubby monsters & have a little girth to them, let them tenderize a bit longer in that grease; these guys are top notch. So we where trying to avoid going to this place because my husband isn't a big chicken person and because we aren't from the area we assumed given the name of the restaurant it would be pretty much strictly chicken when we walked through the door he wanted to walk right out. HOWEVER it's NOT they do have hamburgers also My husband got the Ruben and I was surprised he said it was one of the best he's ever had and that's saying a lot considering he gets one almost everywhere we go. I got the BBQ Bacon Burger it was pretty good but didn't have much bbq sauce on it. We both got fries they were soggy definitely would not get them again however the tater tots were pretty good. I was not a fan of the way we were greeted it started friendly then went straight to place your order with the QR code at the table it just seemed like they wanted as little interaction as possible but yet everyone who walked in after placed the order at the register. The layout was pretty nice they need a sign when going to the bathroom to watch your step cause me and my husband both almost busted our buts that step is practically invisible. My family and I decided to try a local restaurant and thought the name was cute and catchy. We ordered at the counter, the employee was unfriendly and agitated. The ambience was quiet and empty; likely due to the lack of service and unappetizing food. We ordered a variety of meals from burgers that came with literally no toppings at all (no lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion), shrimp scampi, macaroni, fish etc. Although we spent nearly $200 dollars, the food was barely edible. The staff were so unfriendly and unprofessional that I am angered everytime I think I left a 20% tip. The picnic tables are hard and secured to the floor so closely that it is impossible to maneuver around them. My husband got the half chicken and it was cooked perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone! I got the chicken pieces with 'mild' buffalo sauce. WAY TOO spicy- I only had a couple of them. The mashed potatoes were also seriously spicy with LOTS of pepper. The gravy that went with the potatoes was a pepper gravy. I was hoping that the gravy would tame those spicy spuds but again, way too much pepper. We also had the red baby potatoes. They were mild in comparison but had another peppery spice on them. Tried out Dam Chicken tonight for supper, BD's newest spot. Online ordering with curbside delivery worked pretty sweet. Pretty minimal menu right now but my husband, son, and I all liked our meals. Mine (pictured) was boneless Nashville bites medium heat, mashed taters & gravy, and coleslaw; chicken had just a nice bit of heat. My husband's chicken was the Dam Hot and he said it was about the perfect amount of heat and he can handle heat better than I can. Each meal was 10 bucks with a respectable amount of food. They offer individual meals, family meals, and a la cart. I can't wait to try it again especially once they start to expand their menu. I'm hoping they add some tasty Southern desserts. Upbeat music and friendly staff. We placed our order online so it was ready when we got there. Food was hot and delicious. My husband loves bone in chicken and he was impressed. It was moist and flavorful. I ate the chicken bites and these were lightly battered and tasty. Mac and cheese and tater Jeffers--comfort food at its best. Great sauces! Everything was really good I would like a little spicier seasoning compared to what the hottest flavor offered is. Of course its not Nashville but then again unless you're at Hattie B's what is? Traditional Nashville Fried Chicken, the skin crisp n tasty, the chicken is so, so moist. Best I have had in a very long time. I will definitely be ordering again to try out some other flavors. If you like raw chicken eat here. They should be shut down. If you like getting sick eat here. I called the health department they will hopefully do what is right for Beaver Dam. Also the owner took the raw chicken as a joke. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Good luck not getting sick. I left a message for the health department, I hope they can fix this place but ownership/ management will not admit they are wrong. I brought a child and an 80 year old here to try it out. I'm worried about food poisoning but they don't seem to think that's an issue. Owner and manager admitted the thermometers were broken. Wow you have one job running a restaurant... don't get people sick. This is not their concern. Stay away. Let somebody who knows what they are doing take this place over. No excuses for what they did. Never go there!!! Also they only refunded 50% of a meal we couldn't eat. I guess they are struggling so bad they need the money and don't care about the public. Sighhhhhh. When they FIRST opened during the pandemic the quality of the food was good. But things quickly went downhill - quality of chicken has dramatically decreased and is now poor and very grisly. (We've given two chances and been sorely disappointed) When you make one main thing (chicken) you better be outstanding. Too bad as their interior is nice / modern. Food is hit and miss. Sometimes they'll forget one or two of your sides; they'll forget to add sauce to the chicken or extra sauce. Mac and cheese is oftentimes lumpy and obviously reheated. Chicken is usually cold or dried out when they notify via text of the order, and that's with me waiting outside their door for the text. We've been ordering here once or twice a month since they opened, and the poor experiences far outweigh the good ones. Kwik Trip has much better chicken, and I hate saying that. read more

Stopped in for lunch today and everything was very good. Thigh and drumstick were both juicy with good flavor, although I was expecting "Nashville medium" to be a little hotter. Mild salt level, seemed to be slightly biased toward the crust but there was enough in the meat to do the job. Crust is thinner so those who use KFC or TV dinner chicken as a measuring stick might be disappointed. Sides were garlic mashed w/gravy and beans w/potatoes, and I liked them both.
