All the 5 star reviews for Damon are definitely correct and well earned. I live in Orange County and there are not many choices for good barbers in OC. Now it is a drive; depending on traffic, to get up to Rancho Cucamonga from Orange or Riverside or LA counties but it is definitely worth it. The first thing you notice as a new client is that everyone in the Salon and Barber shop are actually nice, friendly and welcoming. Anyone who has lived in So Cal for any time knows that nice and friendly folks are not the norm nowadays. My first time getting my hair done by an actual barber and I do not regret it. I initially got my hair undercut done at a hair salon and, while I liked the style, I had to admit the service wasn't the best when I found strands of long hair at the base of my neck. I found Damon on here after searching for a barber for a while. I had visited other shops in person but all seemed a little reluctant to serve me so I figured I would just look online for someone whose clients included women. When I got into his chair, Damon was so polite and friendly. He asked questions and was patient as I replied as there were times when I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. Having an undercut is the shortest I've ever gone with my hair so I was still unused to the feeling of the electric clippers. I read several Yelp reviews and decided, I would drive 60 miles if necessary to find the right barber. I arrived to Damon cutting a gentleman's hair who has been a client for over 20 years. I knew I was at the right barbershop.
