    Just purchased a Jeep Gladiator from Dan Deery. Was I really looking to do this now but I had submitted a inquiry about one and was contacted promptly by Jesse. When I got there Cody was my salesman and it was great working with him since he drove one himself. He was able to answer all my questions and deal with my one year old as well while helping me decide what I was going to do. I then left had them run numbers so I could pick up my daughter and wife and get back up there later on. They worked with us very well and included the kiddos and made them comfortable because we all know buying a car can drive one crazy while including kids. With us leaving to late we couldn't get the proper detail so they came and picked up the Jeep the next day at my place of work and took it back to get it all detailed and ceramic coated. When we decide to upgrade the wife's Subaru we will return to them to do our next deal.

I ended up completing the sale (again they had my 500) and they buried the title from accounting and the person that's ultimately signs ot. I texted both salesperson and finance and they promised to check, but didn't. Finally 9 days after the sale i got ahold of the title person. She had no knowledge of the transaction. She found it and sent it to me next day. If you want to work with an oversized toddler, then Ben Baker the business manager is your guy. If you want to buy a car from a professional dealership shop anywhere else!!!! By the way. If you are still reading, i did receive three requests for reviews from them, but no followup to close the deal. ​​​

    Had deal with salesman to purchase new vehicle, even was still waiting for car to come in ( longer…read morethan originally stated) stopped in to discuss trade in and was then informed they were going to charge me $3,000. to $5,000 more over sticker price and originally stated price. Not only shocked by was kinda funny how the previous year when I bought a new same model car they bragged how bigger dealerships in Des Moines charge over sticker price and they don't do that, well i guess the almighty greedy dollar won out. i feel sorry for the great salesman that I had (Tom) that was put in the middle of all this and was the one I believe at the last minute was instructed to inform me over the price change - BE CAREFULL I GUESS THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MORE MONEY IS OVERCOME THE IMPORTANCE OF RELIABLE CUSTOOMER SERVICE AND HAVING REPEAT CUSTOMERS

    Found a truck i liked on their website, it checked all the boxes of my liking so i contacted them…read moreabout a time to check it out. it was a hot truck and had multiple people serious about it. i was offered an option to put money down to hold it until i see it and buy it after i checked it out. drove down 3.5 hours to see it, start looking underneath the truck and it was hideous. poor "frame coating" left all of the rust flakes on and could be seen roughly standing 10ft away, not good with how clean the truck was. got into the truck with the interior covered in some terrible smelling wax/ detailer. drove it around, abs was freaking out when the brakes were appliee, pulled to the left super hard when braking and the transmission slipped. get back to the dealer and tell the internet sales manager what was wrong with it. as i am telling him he is focused on his computer with "we will look at it" "other customers didnt mention that!" you think when he said that he would wonder why they didnt buy it at the time. all of this meaning nothing to me as he sat there i said i think i will pass. he responds with "well i told two customers not to come today because it was sold, so i lost two potential customers" with that being the only thing on his mind with a customer in his dealership frusterated me so i walked out. got home and wrote up a review on google like i am now, within hours i get a text from him saying "wtf man, i told you about those issues over the phone" the only thing we talked about over the phone was the initial call about me interested and wanting to set up a time and putting a hold purchase. he proceeds to go on about how busy he is which i dont doubt, but too busy to take action and actually talk to the customer about the issue at hand? nope. i told him i would take the review down if he refunds my down payment on the truck. he said he would get my money back monday. it is now friday. i made a mistake and learned from it he made a mistake and now there is this yelp review...

Our insurance company tried to short us on factory parts and did not provide a rental car. Angie, the head of the department, was more invested in our well- being than our insurance company. With every bump in the process, and there were MANY, Angie went to bat for us. She stood up for us and got the best parts and the best coverage from the company. This was the service that we had expected from our insurance company but instead received from Witham Auto Body on La Porte Road in Waterloo. We cannot emphasize how well these people do their jobs. They are very professional. They are very knowledgeable in their field. This department is great with communication and information. They are the most dependable in this area. We would certainly use them again if we found it necessary.

    Do NOT recommend…read more I'll lead with this: I actually bought the exact Kia Sportage SX-Prestige that I test drove here, same trim and same specs, from a completely different dealership. That should tell you everything. I came into Witham Kia with no intention of buying that day as I would want to have the weekend to think over such a big purchase, which I made clear before I even walked through the door. The sales associate, Daniel, acknowledged it, and then proceeded to ask me the same question over and over as if repetition would change my answer. I had to threaten to walk out before he finally moved on. The test drive itself was the strangest dealership experience I've ever had. Rather than letting me drive off the lot independently, which every other dealership I visited that same day had done without hesitation, Daniel insisted on driving me first. Fine, weird, but fine. Except he didn't stay local. He drove me over five miles away from the dealership to some parking lot near Washburn before handing over the keys. I'm a bigger guy and I wasn't afraid, but I kept thinking about how unsettling that would feel for someone else. That's not a test drive protocol; that's a red flag. Throughout the drive, the conversation was peppered with excessive profanity. Not the occasional word, but far beyond that. It felt less like a professional interaction and more like I was stuck in a car with someone who had no idea how to read a room. When I tried to leave afterward, again, as I had stated from the very beginning, both Daniel the sales associate and Daniel the sales manager (they both are named Daniel, but Daniel the sales associated isn't listed on their official website despite him working there) pressured me to come back inside. As I began to make my way out, I heard the sales manager say out loud that I was an "A" word, in front of other people on the lot; employees and potential customers. Pro: Absolutely nothing. Con: The boundary-ignoring, the off-lot detour, the unprofessional language, the pressure tactics, and a sales manager who insults customers on their way out. All of it. Tip: Go elsewhere. I went to a different Kia dealership and had a completely smooth experience to buy the exact same vehicle. The car itself is great, just don't buy it from Witham.
