So our air conditioner died this weekend, great timing I know, but when is it ever? The air is…read moregoing to go out on the hottest day of the year and the furnace will go out on the coldest ... We didn't really realize until later in the afternoon on Saturday that the air was out. C and C had installed our furnace and we've been happy with that so we decided to give them a call for the air. They were completely booked and told us to call back first thing on Sunday to get an appt that day. They also told us ahead of time the service call would be $200. It would go up to $250 on a Sunday. We said thanks and called Sunday morning right at 8 am when they opened. They already had one person ahead of us that day, and they would give us a call when they were on their way. We mentioned that we had tried to get an appt yesterday but since they were booked we had to wait until Sunday, and they honored the $200 rate for Saturday. In the meantime, I got a couple text messages from them introducing our technician, along with a photo of the tech so we would know who to expect when he got here, which I thought was great and really appreciated, especially if I was home by myself that day. I haven't had any other company do that so far and I really like the idea. The tech was efficient, clean, and wore a mask I'm the house. He diagnosed us with needing a new capacitor, replaced it, and was on his way. Everything took about 30 mins and our house is nice and cool again. Good experience with them and I would recommend

Asking you but more like forcing asking yes or no if you want services. There a lot great company out there. Just google and other site did not showed how this company gone down with customer service. Beware of Dayna or Hanna she was not so friendly at all. It's like she sound like she having bad day everyday.

This is not to be confused with Comfort ZONE, which is also in Royal Oak - this is Comfort ZONES…read moreHeating & Air Conditioning. I made a Yelp page for them since the other business already has an established Yelp page. Last Tuesday, I noticed my hot water heater making odd noises, after I took a bath that night. I went to look and sure enough, there was about a half-inch of water on the floor. Last year I experienced a massive house flood, so I definitely didn't want that to happen again. I have an Appliance Plan with Consumers Energy so I called them, and they outsourced it to Comfort Zone. Comfort Zone showed up at my house the next morning, diagnosed the problem (water landing on top of the flame, apparently), and were able to install a new water heater the same day, which was great. The cost was $1470, which sounds like a lot but Lowe's was quoting me $1650+ that same day, too. The reason for the three stars is that they aren't great at answering the phone. The next day after the water heater installation, one of my sinks was operating at about 60-70% of its former water stream, so they said they'd send someone down to look at it (this was Thursday). By 4-5pm Thursday I hadn't heard back from them and no one had shown up, I left them a voicemail to say Friday would be fine. I called again Friday morning and got voicemail again; I said that 3:30pm would be the latest I could have someone over on Friday. Sure enough, at like 3:25pm one of the techs, Cory, did show up, and was able to fix the problem ... but there was no communication from either him or Denise, the receptionist (and possibly owner?), about this. That being said, I'd still use them again because they were able to quickly diagnose the problem + install a new water heater on the same day, so I didn't have to stay somewhere else overnight, since I had to turn off the water to my entire house.
