My favorite nursery! They have the best Begonias that no other nursery I have seen carries. They have the inside decorated with beautiful planters and pots that help you envision plants in your home. The owner is always around ready to help. Everyone there is very helpful and welcoming.

Always a fun and successful visit to the DP Nursery! Because they have such a beautiful and healthy selection of flowers and plants that fit the bill - literally - because the value I get for these (typically I'm getting a hanging plant and some tomato plants, herbs, maybe strawberry plants), and their longevity is fabulous. The attentiveness from the assistants outside to the friendly service at the register (PLUS the perfect puppy treats for my Huckleberry!) add to making this nursery my choice over the bigger chain options! ~Erinne and Huckleberry

Love it here! Such a beautiful place to spend some time shopping for plants. They have a great selection of plants you can't find at most nurseries. I always find something special here. Thank you!

I really like this nursery! I originally went looking for koi fish, but they don't sell them. However, they do have a stunning koi pond--it's a joy to stand by and watch the beautiful fish. Their plant selection is impressive. I picked up a healthy, well-cared-for olive tree. The staff is friendly and helpful!

If you want a butterfly garden and other tips about growing herbs, flowers, orchids and other plants, stop in and meet with Brooke the owner. She recommended planting fennel, parsley and dill for swallowtails. Already had success with the monarchs and milkweed. Love this place and helping to support local. Her staff know what they're doing too.

Wow never been here before. (Well I am not from the area) just passing by and decided to stop. Wow very deceiving from the outside. This place is larger than it looks. Soo pretty, lots of plant varieties. Very beautiful displays. My only negative is the parking. It's super tiny....

Rex rocks! The last time I had a plant (and unintentionally killed it) was 1983, so I was wary about whether or not I could take care of plants, despite how much I enjoy them. Rex offered me the most excellent advice in caring for the two plants I bought, and reassured me that I could keep them alive with simple yet effective practices. It is evident that Rex knows and loves plants, and Rex is a wealth of wisdom for the customers. While anyone can be professional, Rex is that rare combination of being both professional AND personable. I hope Dana Point Nursery appreciates Rex as much as I, and I'm sure that I am one of many grateful customers to have been assisted by Rex.

Stopped in looking for succulents. Not a huge selection but they look very healthy. They are a bit over priced also.

They have a gorgeous designer, jewelry lines as well, which is very pretty, but I love their candles, their earth, and Ware and all of the sweet cards. If you're looking for something specific for Laguna Beach, this is a place you really need to head into from ornaments to framed artwork, stationary, and coasters. This shop is your one stop.

Ok, should be called "Trashbag Tuvalu." Why? Because they sent me home with my purchase, a lamp,…read morein a black, Hefty-looking Trash Bag. That's right. A 30 gallon, Lawn and Leaf size plastic trash bag. No paper wrap, no bubble wrap, nothing. Most ridiculous thing I've seen from a "upscale store." TRUE upscale starts from the beginning to the END of the sales experience. It gets better... Aesthetically pleasing store if you're into the upscale beach vibe "thing" for your home. Initially, service was wonderful, a pleasant lady asked if I needed any help. Found a lamp yay! Nice discount yay! Pay. They plop it into a CLEAR trash bag. I walk out with said bag. I see black dirt all over the cream shade. Walk back in. Uhh... excuse me I think you gave me a dirty bag. Lady started making an excuse...but no go because it's OBVIOUS the bag literally had dirt in it. No matter! They'll just use sticky tape to pick up the dirt from the shade and put it ANOTHER trashbag. PLUS, they took out the bulb that was already in the socket. Cheap much? Lol!!! I was dying laughing because I walked to Main Beach where my husband was waiting, all the while carrying a giant black trash bag like an off- season Santa sourcing stuff from the 'hood. Yes, I'm local, and no I won't go again. Don't assume anything about your customers.
